My head tells me that Alanna doesn't AtE Zander of all people as mafia, but at the same time, if Zander's claim here about having had her as a town read is true I find it really strange that she would genuinely think he's mafia reading her if she's re-reading his posts.  I know she specifically said IRT to Celeste, but I dunno....

 

 

If it wasnt for the inconsistencies in her game Id prolly be pretty close to clearing her for it.

 

 

Zander, you've probably played with Alanna more at this point than I have.  Do you think she's more likely to blow up at Darthe, or even you, than she is me?  Removing reads from the context, I mean.  

 

I have no idea with Darthe but I have so I can see it.

The point I'm getting at there is it almost seems like she's flipping a switch.  She's clearly fed up with Darthe.  That, by itself, doesn't mean anything for her alignment.  She's pretty annoyed with you.  That doesn't mean anything for her alignment.  But she addressed my questions as if she's perfectly calm.  It reads as if she's playing up her frustration with the two of you or filtering herself before she replies to me.

I'm all for this, and I'm pretty happy with an Alanna lynch as well.  Alanna has Celeste as town off gut, and has for a while, and is basically trusting what Liz said.  This is the extent of her discussion on Lainey that I could find.

Anyone ever have the issue that they want to see their thoughts validated on thread by other players before they commit to them?  Just realized this happens to me a lot and it's an awful way to play this game.  If I want to win that is.

That bottom quote is part of why I was asking what she thought the setup is.  I was her strongest townread for at least a little bit, and Darthe was her strongest mafia candidate.  After deadline, she was calling out Zander for being a hypocrite.  Today, er mafia candidates are Thane and Sili.  Darthe and I are both now 3P candidates, with no indication of there even BEING a third party this game.

 

Combine that with her lack of in depth thoughts to seemingly back up anything she did yesterday, a massive over reaction to Liz's initial push, and the blatant contradiction from her immediately after deadline, I really don't see how anybody feels good about her being town at this point.

 

Literally the best argument I have for it is "she can't be this bad as scum", and after some of the shit I've seen, I've stopped believing that exists.

So I don't think Calder is a wolf and I kinda doubt that Sili ever is.  And I don't want to think that Clov is because I like him and he is really making some good points ITT, especially every time I get suspicious of him.

Yeah, if he is a wolf this is a really good thread for him atm because we can't do much about it.  Gotta catch another wolf first, but being aware that he may be a wolf kinda makes me want to reread the thread sans his presence and see what comes of it.  Wonder if that's even valuable.

I don't know what they'd do as scum.  I think they'd do whatever they felt was necessary to win.  And if their other teammate is a mostly inactive player - basically meaning we're not getting deepwolfed - I think they'd think that would mean not unnecessarily bussing.
