Here is what we need to look for.

 

RTE was scum.  RTE was scummy.  There is a good chance mafia figured out he was the symp.

 

Rey flipped the lynch onto Zander and then people didn't want to lynch RTE because :???:.  The possibility that mafia were setting him up kept coming up.  Why?  Did his D1 just disappear?

 

We go back and look at who didn't want to lynch RTE all of a sudden for reasons that had nothing to do with RTE.

 

This now reads as a reason to set up a mislynch. Chances are most, if not all of the people that did this are town. I'm sure we won't find all of his teammates doing this.

3 things occur to me    1  his role is dangerous to them.  2 MOST people   including scum were town reading them and they might haqve thought they were not going to be able to back away and vote him  3 they thought he was a safe kill    maybe for reads but also because odds say hallia doesnt protect Rey tho that is weak thinking when they couldve killed laine or eldrick or me who are unlikely to get protected at all    tho as ive said i dont think they kill me

Finished reading the Shad ISO, still not liking what I see there, read through Rey's case as well, I think Shad is probably the best way to go today; I need that slot resolved regardless

This combined with the badly explained reason for a sudden town read on him makes it feel like a slip. That he's upset about losing a teammate.

You think I hard bussed Shad when he was under so little suspicion from the thread in general. I MADE that lynch happen.

 

Your Dice "Town" read is basically because you say so. Sorry but I'm not gonna just trust you on that. It feels like you are repeating your lack of desire to lynch Shad. No real reasoning. RTE doesn't spew Dice town. We don't know who knew what about who between the symp (NOT Traitor: DM roles do NOT always match the "mafia" sites).

 

3 mafia-1 symp vs 2 mafia-1 symp: Malarkey. you are changing your story. As early as Shad flipped you were saying lynch sooh and gg. So at that point you were STILL pushing only 1 more left. So NO. Also. Shad's flip pretty much confirms that the Ghostbusters are the mafia. How many were there? 4. You really think Peter and Ray are NOT in the game and are NOT mafia??? I can't suspend disbelief for this.

 

As to the naive cop "tinfoil", Ithi uses theme and characters to match up roles. She has only actually made 3 games by herself. They were all run here in the BT. The first was Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. The second was Raiders of the Lost Ark (teh third was Cliche mafia which doesn't really count). You can look if you want or ask Dice on your QT. I mentioned Dice specifically because I thought about a similarity to something that happened in Sith. It had to do with mafia fake claims for mafia. Mafia were complaining that they needed a better safe fake. Ithi had happened to leave her favourite character, Aayla Secura. Dice got it and coasted along as the emperor (tbh town messed up because they should have killed Anakin earlier) I could see Ithi giving Slimer as a fake claim because he was a beloved character. I could further see Dice jumping at the chance to use it the moment he got into any trouble. Then look at how Shad and Alanna dealt with Dice. Alanna basically has only said he i town cause "I say so". I think She is using her being right about Z to keep off of Dice for little to no reason.

 

I think that is where we need to be looking today.

Also this is more likely to show that the mafia DIDN'T know the RTE was the symp. It is possible they tried to bus him for cred but TBH that would be a bad idea because you can't really get cred for lynching a symp. It is like lynching a 3p before mafia flips.

Speculating setup like naive cops and symps with special variations or even which characters are mafia is silly and a waste of time imo. First of all, simplest answer generally the right one, and secondly we don't know the setup until post game. Lastly, if the mafia team was the ghostbusters, don't you think they'd have safe claims and just wouldnt, like, claim Ghostbusters bc we're onto them or whatever? Yeah probably...

 

My point is: KISS (non offensively) and use thread reads not character claims and outlandish speculation to solve.
