I plan to look at Turin at some point tonight, along with Sooh.

I think Zander and Shad are town and I'm not going down that road of tinfoil.

I get the trusting Cory thing but "road of tinfoil" seems like a strong switch from the very cautious town read you were at a few pages back. Have particular things struck you since or is it just the trust?

Wow this game really jumped ahead while I was sleeping. I apologize again, I intended to get online after work but I hadn't slept in 30+ hours and ended up sleeping in my car for a bit before driving home. ANYWAYS good morning, I haven't read the last 30 pages and skimmed pieces of the game before that so I might need a few to be caught up and current.

General impressions from what I've read so far:

Town:

Cory, Darthe, Hally, Zander, Tina, Calder, Shad

Feeling meh:

Sooh, Verb, Dice,

Who am I missing? Ummm Thane and Turin..... Currently null there

After reading the last 30 pagesss

Cory

DartheZanderTinaCalder

HallyShad

Thane

TurinSoohVerb

Cory and Darthe solidified town, never lynching them this game but I'm pretty sure they're self resolving at this point. Cory for being an obvious villager and getting Dice lynched and Darthe for being pretty transparent himself and overall I've liked his actions this game. Zander is still a town read unless hell freezes over. He was also on Dice and seems to be town but I do have a little bit of tinfoil there that I need to get over. Tina is probably town, I've always had a little bit of trouble reading her but from the posts I've read, nothing is sticking out to me and quite a bit of it looks good; this coupled with maybe a little sheeping of my top towns puts her this high when she probably normally would not be. Overall good feelings there though.

Calder is Calder, nothing is sticking out to me about him and for some reason I feel good about his slot? I'm not 100% there and might want to ISO him but he's in my town reads for now. Hally: liked her activity and catch up posts from what I've seen she's been trying to make connections and feels town.

Shaddddd is ???. No but seriously I think he's town. But I'm hesitant putting him any higher right now because I struggle a bit reading him. ISO target. I remember him being very active and involved at start of game and liking his posts but I also remember he can pull that as a wolf too so I need to go back and remind myself a bit of his actions early game.

Thane/Turin null. I don't remember reading any of Thane's posts yet and Turin needs to be looked at for that DADV post because it's bugging me a little bit with Dice flipping wolf. Sooh and Verbal down there through POE and some tone things with Sooh. Verbal I haven't seen really contribute to the game so he's at the bottom for that reason as well even though I know he's asked for a sub.

I think this list is a little consensusy but that's mainly because most of the work was done by the time I got here. =/

Dont agree with all Zander's Laine angles. But, I am concerned with him on her list feeling safe.

What do you mean by this?

I'm going to get food now, I'm probably going to come back and look at Turin because #lolHomework

Your list feels like a stock Cory list post Dice flip. Nothing is out of the ordinary from popular opinion. Nothing I can pinpoint as a fresh insight. You poked at Zander, but still have him high. So it feels like it doesnt matter.

A unique opinion would have made me feel better about you. It isnt an entirely fair criticism to place on you, but your position subbing in isnt fair. Bc you came in being an unknown.

I never said neither of you were any lower than town reads, just wanted to go ahead and show my tinfoil while y'all were asking for reads and then go back to my regularly scheduled program of real suspects. But yes Shad, trusting Cory has helped your slot a little bit since I'd rather not read your ISO at the moment for sanity reasons because you post a lot of words.

FFS Calder let me actually dig into the game. Those are quick reads from reading 30 pages at once.

Hey I acknowledged it isnt really fair to you. Doesn't change my concern.

Shad are you sure on Zander? Confidence level?

Rereading parts of Warcraft for Turin reasons and remember how badly you wrekt him there.

Eh

Different players have different caps on how much I'll ever trust them before paranoia says no more.

Go to Zander's cap, take one step backwards, consider me there.

He's been a bit more hesitant to trust anyone at all than I'm used to.

And that's probably just more town signs from him, but it's very mildly contagious.

Would I feel better if we were slapping each other on the back more? Probably. Is that a good reason to feel better? Probably not.

Even on the past page or so I find him expressing the same hesitance on Thane that I did, independently of me saying it.

It's kind of uncanny how many times I've commented on something in catch-up and then came to find he'd already said the exact same thing.

He's town. I'll tinfoil now and again, but he's town.

Like there's two really big elements of his game you can see between Chrono Trigger and his villager games (I read Friends, Supernatural and Warcraft)

As a wolf he generally tries to hide behind large "player" ISOs where he reads a bunch of player posts, comments and asks questions. He does this extremely often as a wolf and I remember that was one the reasons I had a jump on him reading Chrono Trigger. He is less driven to interact and when he does it's mostly fluff around those MQs where his "real gameplay" is. He asks a lot of questions, specifically to focus people away from him.

His villager game has a lot of bite and is very non-compliant, generally giving flack to players, interacting, having very large WTLs containing most of the game, is just sort of eccentric and literally tunes out everything except what he's thinking.

This game is completely mixed. His neck's out a little more here than it was in CT and he's a bit more willing to pick fights and his posting has been mostly serious (something absent in his wolf games barring the MQs and ISOs), but he's just way more villagery in the other villager games. There's a pronounced difference.

Here, I can see shades of his villager game but it's not all there.

I came to a similar conclusion when I ISO'd him last night so not entirely sure why I thought I'd come with a different conclusion. His short term posting in American Gods helped me shore up his general wolf strategy / what he tries to accomplish, but I don't see a drastic difference here.

I don't know. I wish I had a more confident read on that slot.

I wasn't in Friends

I thought you specced it and had me nailed and it was unspoilered.

But I spent maybe 30 seconds in that DT because scumming exhausts me and I never got around to reading it after I'd got my nerves back down a bit.

So my bad.

I have a ~secret read~ I don't want to share right now.

I'm confident in it and you'll get it before the end of night because I noticed something I didn't before and it drastically changed my opinion of someone.

I'll let you all stew for now

I dislike when you do stuff like this.

Shad, I don't even remember speccing the Friends game, tbh.

I think one major difference is that Villager!Turin constantly gives out his WTLs and is interested in the lynch and constantly remarks on gameflow, who he feels will be lynched, and what he feels people should do.

He's not really doing that at all here. He didn't seem to care about the d1 lynch, wasting his vote on Shad despite it being meaningless and never really trying to get anyone to vote Shad.

He didn't talk to me about Shad once either, which is weird for me because as long as Shad was on my village list d1 he was never getting lynched. He really hasn't talked or interacted with me at all. Maybe like once or twice over mostly inane things.

His early bit of posting was okay and looked more like Villager!Turin but his content really dropped off a cliff d1 and he's super uninvolved.

In before it's just Laine/Verbal and all of this pursuit of Turin/Sooh was misguided.

Turin's going back on my radar in a big way, because I refuse to let him beat me if he's a wolf. I haven't scrutinized enough there, and I'm 100% ready to dig into his game more and figure him out completely so I can own his soul in any future game.

I kind of feel like Laine/Verbal probably should be resolved before anything else happens, and I'll accept a mislynch if you can't get me higher up in your lists be the time they are gone.

Like hell if I'm going to just let myself get run over because I'm currently in the POE. This villager ain't getting lynched, even IF you treat it as a foregone conclusion.

Ew.

I think your taste in men has been in question basically since the day you met me

Nahhh I think you're pretty great

I said resolved, not lynched.

"I kind of feel like Laine/Verbal probably should be resolved before anything else happens, and I'll accept a mislynch if you can't get me higher up in your lists be the time they are gone."

Red came off as lynched to me.

I'm not even sure if I know what I'm doing, but I might have an inkling.

BTW I'm refreshing here while going through an ISO that may or may not get me anywhere if people want to poke at me
