People commenting on Shad's perceived eagerness to play. Is this unusual for him? He was more reserved as the devil in Clov's game that I played, but his in thread actions werent really all that important (compared to a normal game). So curious.

For me it isn't his eagerness to play. He does like to mafia and IMO he is happier to be mafia than town. What is really pinging me is that he seemed to work a bit too hard to get into the "backslapping" fest that started the game.

The fact that you phrased your question in this manner leads me at least to think you were predisposed to thinking that dice was in fact mafia. The second question is superfluous if you have a null read on him.

My actual read on Dice is null, with very light town lean. I'll need a bit more to be able to read him better. But, seeing it's early in the game, that shouldn't be a problem

it's D1, he seems genuinely frustrated. He doesn't do emo stuff as wolf as far as i can remember. His content over the next few days will make him easier to read, instead of falling back to what had happened. There's more for him to work with, let him prove himself.

feel frustrated townie on her more than anything else. If she'd nitpick on something in the game, it wouldn't be the group forming buddying imo. She'd find something else, she's creative enough as a wolf. For now, careful null on her. I get a slight town nudge from her, but I will hold other people's opinions in account.

shoot? right now? I'd go on a hunch and shoot Kat. Not impressed by her entrance, felt like "Hey guys, i'm here!" and then... nothing... Will holster on her if she improves, but we'll see about that

Never played mafia with her before, but i mean what i said. Didn't particularly like her entry. And i'm trusting my gut her, for once.

Where I'm presently at

 

1. Tina: Town: I liked her catch up post. The only thing that is keeping her from being SOLID BLUE is that she didn't ask any questions of the people she noticed things about.

2. Sooh: mixed- pluses. I liked that she noticed and questioned the backslapping going on early. I think the "clique" post came from a town mindset. Minuses: her reads felt a bit safe and couched. I would like her to get back in here and post more thoughts.

3. Hallia: Mixed- Her style sounds like town Hallia. Her stances sound a bit weird. I don't think her vote is justified but that might be because it is on me and I know I'm town. gun to head mafia lean.

4. Zander: now leaning town- I think he was just mad at Sooh and then at Dice wrt that situation and I think it coloured his reads and set him a bit of bias.

5. Shad: mafia- I still think that he was the main party in the early stuff that read to me like he was attempting to create a "let's all town read each other" vibe.

6. Kat: incomplete: she has 2 posts? I think.

7. Verb: work in progress- I hope that he steps up more today. I get a feel that he is talking all sides and needs time to make up his mind. I want to see where he comes down on some people.

8. Thane: Mafia- too much fluff. piled on the let's be town together vibe. what appears as discrepancy between how he treated Dice to what his stated read of Dice was. General lack of reasoning for any positions.

9. Dice: slight town- His stance on Z/Sooh is totally null to me. I do want him back in here also and giving more thoughts.

10. Darthe: Darthe- slight mafia lean. I haven't seen him in forever and know he will say and do anything so I need some time here. To be fair I usually start with him on the mafia side.

11. Cory: Town - I think he actually worked thru Sooh and he seems to have a interest in solving. So I will hold of on my continual tinfoil for Cory.

12. Turin: Towniest Town that Towned today

13. Calder: mafia lean- Not much yet from him. I can't say that I'm a fan of his penchant for mafia claiming.
