I honestly don't know about Monstr. I can't tell alignment YET, but from the way I remember him before I can't say I've seen anything scummy in his posts. If there is, somebody has to point that out to me. I'm not ISOing yet (I don't have time tbh).

 

Shad has a few posts that make me nod in agreement, but he has also had a few posts that have really puzzled me. I find my read of him fluctuating depending on whether I nodded or shook my head last time I read one of his posts, and this worries me. I usually peg Shad from the beginning (though he has fooled me as scum before).

 

Dice, if you're still around. What are your opinions on Shad/Monstr? Other people can feel free to chip in as well.

Red, what sort of thing are you looking for? What did you make of his responses to me irt Laine?

 

Good question. Tbh I'm looking for a Monstr I don't recognize from previous games. I believe I have only played with him as town, and this is how I remember him from those games. I don't have any specifics for you I'm afraid. I just think that he's right when he says he's self resolving. In either case I feel like I need more time to pin him down, but I'm reading his responses so far as towny.

I can't remember off the top of my head if I have been in a game where Pral has been scum, but I do think his initial responses on D0 were weird. Now, if those are out the window he's a null for me today.

I will say no more Turin. I support the theort everyone was VT D0, but that roles were assigned based on what we did/how we posted and such. That or triggers. So D0 decided roles.

Why get frustrated? It is a game. Not something important. You get lynched or you dont. You get NKed or you dont. It doesnt matter. Also all anyone does is assume. All comments are 95% meta evals and that goes hand in hand with the assumption that they arent using their meta against you.

I won't say that he's a blue clear town read to me. I'm still working on reading him, but to me I don't think becoming emotionally invested or even frustrated = scum. Like I just said to Shad, I clearly have to go back and read his posts in ISO, because this game is so fast and there's so much happening that it's hard to retain everything without going back to look at things an extra time.

I want you in my town core. Let's talk about someone like Calder, Hallia or Turin.

Calder was very reasonable about a lot of things this game which lead me to believe he's likely just a villager

 

Also he correctly assessed my playing style and the correct way to read me after not even one game together so I have a feeling he's town

 

Point against him is his confbias that I have to be scum because of his d0 read.

 

I actually don't really like hallia today for two reasons a) she lost the fire I'd expected her to have and I haven't really seen her around

 

And b) she seems to care a lot about how people perceive her in the thread as noted by when she stopped joking because it was "weird."

 

Not sure I'm willing to lynch her for that

 

I think Turin has a good chance of flipping wolf at this point because I haven't seen one original thought coming from him all game.

I agree. Since I said clearly his frustration yesterday felt towny to me. Which is what had Zander challenging me when I said I still wanted to stick with first read but that D1 was an improvement imo.
