The logic behind Turin's reasoning that D0 didn't have mafia, and we were assigned alignments and roles N0 makes sense to me.

I never said D0 was useless. I said that everyone was vt on D0. There is still information to be gained but some things just don't work if people are all vt.

 

my take is that everyone initially got a vt pm. Then close to start of D1 some people got a second pm with their new role and alignment.

Partially set up talk and how he's trying to shut out d0, the development of his reads are not obvious to me while he was also judging those on the Zander train as he was voting Eldrick with no reasoning; the other part of it is a gut feeling from playing WoW, Turin isn't sitting right with me. But that's the best I've got so far. Once I read over Shad I'll review again who I want to lynch

Why wouldn't mafia want d0 ignored? I always find a wealth of information from d1 in normal games because everyone is getting in and getting their feet wet.

 

In any case, I just think it's an odd thing to focus on, saying that everyone was VT on d0 and there was no mafia at that point. I don't really see why it matters either, besides maybe using it as a baseline for town activity, or a shift in how people are behaving. BUT, being that we're never going to know if alignments changed n0 or not, because no mafia is going to come out and admit to that, then it really doesn't matter at this point.

I literally should have never joined this game. I don't have the time for it. I work 40 hours a week, I have school, I have these headaches lately that make staring at my screen for every hour of every day extremely sucky. I'm not going to read EOD right now, sorry

This. It's a big reason. I brought it up earlier. If people changed alignments n0, they will act differently. It's important to pay attention to those.

 

So far I think those have been Calder and manbat. I think Shad was on the list too.
