Ok. Sorry I haven't been here in a while. Zander pushed Lenny/me a lot which makes me think we were his scape goats. I also wanted to say earlier that Csarmi town read Zander before scum reading him I believe.

 

 

This to me reads as "See Wish and I can't be scum since Zander was making us his scape goats". First off I believe that was true of Wish. He didn't spend as much time on Celeste doing it. The " a lot " is a stretch for her unless I'm remembering wrong. Overall this post could be null to scum.

He was though in a way focusing on me too but it was a bit different from Wish. He was reluctant to view my meta while he understood yours or others "please see my meta" arguments. That is still scapegoating imo.

I'm not opposed to this but I really need to figure you two out.

 

The vibe I got toward EoD was that Kaylee did a lot to get out of her lynch, and she did it well. This could come from Scum or Town Kaylee IMO. My gut feel later was that she could be scum bussing Csarmi and buddying me once Csarmi started going down (if I've understood correctly, this is in Kaylee's meta and something she does well). It was a strong feel and FWIW if she's the scum this fits with Shad's theory that I'm scum scapegoat in Zander's eyes. There were a couple of things she said that I thought were either indications that she was genuinely more confident that I was Town or buddying me. It freaked me out a little and I backed off to see how she'd respond today. I wish I could trust her, but I don't.

 

On the other hand, I always read Kay scum. She's impossible for me. She could be Town.

If you are town, you would typically not declare you are and would sub-consciously know you are town and proceed in that aspect. The whole quote of Cass, like I said, looked forced. Whether Cass is town or scum, I'm like 99% sure that's what she meant by the "I am town" statement.  She could have worded it more directly.  Something like "That's funny Salami, you have always treated this as null in the past", and avoided emphasizing that she is town.  That's the better way to state it, as either alignment, because it draws less suspicion, but I can easily see what was said come out of a less filtered town mouth.

I would like everyone (including my villagers, because I want your input), regardless of their confidence in their reads, and regardless of their villager list, to do a thought experiment for me. This can be done at your leisure, when you're burned out from data mining D1.

Just be generic. Walk me through your process as scum. Put yourself in that person's shoes.

 

You're the Godfather or the Roleblocker, someone you really don't want to lose day one or pretty much ever. Especially now.

 

How would you have behaved yesterday?

Everyone's different.  Me?  I would focus on taking over this game.  Zander and I are both capable of high volume as scum, and we both have a way of getting people to follow our lead.  I would read Zander town with confidence and insist he do the same with me, bounce a bunch of questions off of him, play it up like we are the two people most interested in solving this game.  I would build a separate case or play mediator; I would never piggy-back the Wish case unless it was rock solid.  But I would be very active in scum QT trying to guide Zander in making it a solid case that I could justify supporting come EoD.

 

That would be the goal, anyway.  Things never go as planned.  If I felt he was just being too scummy to justify the mutual town reads, I would start distancing pretty early on.  I would never distance out the gate though.  First goal would be to establish ourselves as leaders of the village.  If that doesn't pan out, then distance.

If there is a Godfather present, then there is no reason for scum Lenlo to claim cop. Why? Because if Lenlo is the Godfather, obviously he wouldn't sacrifice himself. If Lenlo is not the Godfather, then what is the need to out the cop? The cop cannot find the Godfather anyway.

The optimal play from scum Lenlo would have been to claim the vig. He didn't. He is likely telling the truth.

FTR, I'm willing to listen to him today, but I'm not going to fight his lynch and I don't have Nolder 'high'. I have him 'highly conflicted'. The gun thing at the beginning and events outside the thread being his only focus in the beginning of the game concern me, I have a lot of minuses in my notes that I haven't been able to take the time to rationalise/explain and I'm still debating what to make of his vote on Pral and deliberation over Csarmi but my gut says he may be Town.

 

His increasing interest in the game could be coming from a town mindset if I take some negatives away. I've been warned he has strange tactics as either alignment sometimes and I wonder if it's just this and paranoia that's throwing me off.  The impression I got was that he was he was beginning to really work hard and if he's Town I think/hope he'll come through. I don't hate that he voted Pizza. I'm wary of Pizza. I'll always be wary of Pizza. I didn't overly like Kaylee for top lynch yesterday and TBQF the way Pizza presented his case freaked me out. Nolder's hesitation seemed Towny to me and the fact he was willing to vote Pizza day 1 is kind of impressive. It's also weird.

 

There's a lot of -'s in my notes on Nolder and Pizza's done more Town things for me to date. I want to see where Nolder takes things today, and I want him to lynch scum before I move him out of my PoE. 

 

There's a gap in my understanding, and I haven't done proper notes for everything past p. 50/51 but thoughts on things yesterday that I'm struggling with are his vote on Pral and the deliberation on Csarmi.

 

Pral is firmly in my PoE, so Nolder voting him/thinking he's scum is a plus. The problem is Nolder was also in my top 3, and the reasoning alongside his vote was generic enough to disturb me. I questioned him on it and the interaction that followed made me more uncomfortable than it put me at ease.

 

Nolder's hesitation on Csarmi bugged me. He's played with Csarmi before. TownCsarmi is pretty obvious. TownCsarmi questions everything and everything when scum and he blatantly wasn't doing that here, and it wasn't that hard to check/see.

 

His read of me is crap, but it's possibly understandable. Can't lean that either way.

 

Like I said, I want much more from Nolder today, and I want him to lynch scum. If he does that, I'll let go of more tinfoil and let him move closer to my Town core.

My main hope was to save a mislynch. With 2 goons dead the only ones left are a godfather, guaranteed, and maybe a RB. My power doesnt do much against those.

 

Theres also the fact that atleast now they have to burn a NK on me, rather than on say Pizza or Shad, two hard working townies who are solving this game.

Ok... Why? I want to know how you arrive at your reads more than who your reads actually are until they flip. If there is a Godfather present, then there is no reason for scum Lenlo to claim cop. Why? Because if Lenlo is the Godfather, obviously he wouldn't sacrifice himself. If Lenlo is not the Godfather, then what is the need to out the cop? The cop cannot find the Godfather anyway.

The optimal play from scum Lenlo would have been to claim the vig. He didn't. He is likely telling the truth.

Well first of all let's start at the beginning because if you don't have a good foundation the whole thing falls apart anyway.

This is all based on the assumption that Csarmi and Xander are wolves together.

I'm not necessarily opposed to that idea since I don't have Xander in my town pile yet and a couple people were saying he's off his town meta but I'd still like to see you make the case for Xander and Csarmi being connected before I take the rest of that too seriously.

1) There is no rest. I never bothered to go that far because it would have been a waste of my time if you couldn't convince me of Xander's connection to Csarmi in the first place. It was your job to prove the case not my job to prove you wrong.

 

2) Kaylee light green. Been that way most of the game. If there's a deep wolf I think she's my girl.

3) IDK I was very convinced he's scum but he's said and done some very unscummy things towards EOD1 and during N1. I want him to be scum but he probably isn't. I refuse to discount it yet but I'm not putting his head on the block.

4) Cass is in kind of a similar place except instead of seeming scummy and then doing townie things I feel like she just hasn't done enough to show her scumminess yet. Maybe I'm just wrong here idk.
