^ just stated what was on my mind post-flip.  I'm hoping to look at nearly everyone today.

 

For you, I'm curious on the Zander progression.  If you're scum with Salami, you bussed him pretty hard, and you called out Zander straight out the gate for posts that really were scummy.  He fought back by simultaneously OMGUSing on you and calling you paranoid for suspecting him.  That sounds to me like scum trying to make a town feel nervous and/or stupid.  Not a bad look.  I have a lot to read.

 

Straight from the work Cory had me doing during my 50 page 'assign +/-' yesterday, with a specific focus of trying to find villagers/let go of unnecessary tinfoil:

Basically, you're hitting the nail on the head. My progression with Zander went like this.

 

That felt awkward, call it out.

Zander over-reacted, he's coming at me hard. I don't trust his tone.

Zander is doing a lot ITT and I am not. I get misunderstood a lot as Town. Maybe he does too. Maybe I'm wrong on him. Maybe he's actually trying to figure me out. Why don't I buy that he's not trying to figure me out? He's playing scum like I do, at the core of it anyway, with volume x1000000000000000000. 

 

I backed off because

i)there's no way I compete with that volume and Zander was never getting lynched D1;

ii) IF Zander was Town, the two of us were going to tinfoil each other into oblivion and me picking on obscure little things that struck me because I thought I knew how he should react were going to be a waste of time. It would just get him out of kilter and have him tunneling even more on me. We were never trusting each other this game. 

 

That was yesterday.

 

TBQF the stuff he just posted WRT Lenlo almost had my brain convincing me he was maybe Town and to put him aside a bit today. It also has me tinfoiling on Lenlo/Celeste, which I hate.

I mean I'll keep reading you and verify if the feelings you're expressing here are at least implicitly reflected in your D1 content, but I absolutely love this post.

Also, blue in the spoilered spoiler especially stuck out to me because I looked into what you were referring to and it read to me like Zander trying to drag town players into his case: "[@wish] Really you have not 1 but 2 SOLID towns reads atp???!!! I mean I know you've played with them before as you mentioned but I don't think theres any way they could be solid reads with the content they provided to this point. @Cass I need to reevaluate Kaylee all over.  I thought she was a better lynch than Salami yesterday lololol me.  The context in which I was suspicious of her has changed drastically.

Despite the wolves' bad D1 (+N1), I sincerely doubt none of them creeped into our town piles.

 

If they have a godfather and a roleblocker both, we still have a ton of work to do, and their objective would have been to get credits.

 

Maybe not both of the remaining (if 2 more) wolves are on Csarmi, but I would wager one still is, if two remaining scums.

When you make your villages, be careful to not let deep wolves creep in. They had ample opportunity to generate distancing from both Csarmi and Zander.

 

Observe the interactions with Zander the most, because they were not expecting to lose that many wolves that early, and Zander is worth a lot to a wolf team.

 

As such, they will have had him green or higher on their lists.

Good shot, vig. That was never a SK because a scum went down already, outed doctor, the scums would shoot the doctor, so you know you have a free shot on obvious townies like myself.

 

Ergo, we have a lock clear vigilante.

This isn't really clear to me since the SK would still have to get rid of mafia to win. Idk what basic setup is on DM. So I just might be blabbering.

FTR, I'm willing to listen to him today, but I'm not going to fight his lynch and I don't have Nolder 'high'. I have him 'highly conflicted'. The gun thing at the beginning and events outside the thread being his only focus in the beginning of the game concern me, I have a lot of minuses in my notes that I haven't been able to take the time to rationalise/explain and I'm still debating what to make of his vote on Pral and deliberation over Csarmi but my gut says he may be Town.

 

His increasing interest in the game could be coming from a town mindset if I take some negatives away. I've been warned he has strange tactics as either alignment sometimes and I wonder if it's just this and paranoia that's throwing me off.  The impression I got was that he was he was beginning to really work hard and if he's Town I think/hope he'll come through. I don't hate that he voted Pizza. I'm wary of Pizza. I'll always be wary of Pizza. I didn't overly like Kaylee for top lynch yesterday and TBQF the way Pizza presented his case freaked me out. Nolder's hesitation seemed Towny to me and the fact he was willing to vote Pizza day 1 is kind of impressive. It's also weird.

 

There's a lot of -'s in my notes on Nolder and Pizza's done more Town things for me to date. I want to see where Nolder takes things today, and I want him to lynch scum before I move him out of my PoE. 

 

There's a gap in my understanding, and I haven't done proper notes for everything past p. 50/51 but thoughts on things yesterday that I'm struggling with are his vote on Pral and the deliberation on Csarmi.

 

Pral is firmly in my PoE, so Nolder voting him/thinking he's scum is a plus. The problem is Nolder was also in my top 3, and the reasoning alongside his vote was generic enough to disturb me. I questioned him on it and the interaction that followed made me more uncomfortable than it put me at ease.

 

Nolder's hesitation on Csarmi bugged me. He's played with Csarmi before. TownCsarmi is pretty obvious. TownCsarmi questions everything and everything when scum and he blatantly wasn't doing that here, and it wasn't that hard to check/see.

 

His read of me is crap, but it's possibly understandable. Can't lean that either way.

 

Like I said, I want much more from Nolder today, and I want him to lynch scum. If he does that, I'll let go of more tinfoil and let him move closer to my Town core.

I'm going to be honest here, if I heard anybody say that on my home site I would place my vote ASAP. It's pretty pingy to me but not sure how other sites handle such statements.
