It feels like you're being overly defensive, hon.

With all due respect, do you know what I look like when I'm being overly defensive? Also, care to list the "others" where I'm being what you characterize as "overly defensive?"

I ask these questions because acting "defensive" is often a crutch accusation thrown around that is actually completely worthless. A good Towny has every bit as much at stake as scum. Why would I not defend myself against what I perceive as garbage logic and a fake excuse for a vote, in your opinion?

Zander tried to accuse me of not answering his point. I demonstrated where I did answer his point. Then I went on to wonder why that's even an important point to him to begin with because really no answer is actually alignment related anyway. THEN he doubles down by accusing me of role fishing. This is incredibly disingenuous because:

A. Asking people to support reads is clearly not even role fishing adjacent

B. Even if it were, he has literally never seen me role fish as ANY alignment so that's a dumb accusation to begin with

and C. He votes me for A and B

Now you are asking me why I'm being defensive when addressing a case from a person who is currently voting me? What am I to make of this?

Catching up.

Was the Disney mafia really a good game? I don't remember it at all. Also AJ I said it before but I wasn't a huge fan of what Clov posted but didn't know the deadline was so close. So yeah I found something I didn't like to hound him over to see what he would do. I also don't think I've played longer than yoi, but during my time people have only said "No lynch is nad" without much explanation.

Also dice I don't have you guys on akype?

So firstly, my thoughts on Dice & Yates:

spammit! i had 5 quotes and lost them!

will try to remember.

Zander vote started cause of our Mafia game Len and i was threatening him and besie on skype. His post where he talks about me asking aj what he would prefer....the tones striking me as wrong. My vote stays at this point. He has done nothing that screams town zander at me and has done some stuff thats more indepth then i associate with him. yet it doesnt feel like he is really game solving.

my concern with my thinking is that its very similar to stuff HE said about Lenlo last time.

Try to remember that he's also attempting to teach me.

Then, in the beginning of the day you were in the thought of mind that Yates is scum. vvv

Plus, he's the towniest town to ever town so he's prefect for teaching me how to catch these evil wolves...

I did like that you brought up the AJ BFG thing, cause it showed you were lookin back and tryin to draw connections rather than just lookin for a hole to pounce through. The thing about your slot is I have had 1 game with you where I knew who you were, and we were scum buddies together. And we spent the entire game at each others throat. So reading you is gonna be hard.

he is very "at each others throat" when he is scum. That was definitely evident in the Matrix game. I understand that he brought it up. But he is clearly going "at another's throat" here vvvvv as a response to Clov.

Thats all you have to say to that? Go back and reread? Tell me how I am wrong. Defend your position. Cause atm your just saying "Nuh-uh, your wrong."

I do not know whether this is a repetition of the past, but I thought it was worthwhile to throw it out there.

Liked Besie s second post to. She getting into it, but she's wrong on the Matrix game. Zander was complicit in the bussing. And I hated it.

I'm unhappy with Zander and Len right now. Also, Len is not good at clarifying posts to Clov.

Otherwise I'm in a foul mood due to a work trip that was just thrown at me this morning that won't have me getting home until 9:00pm. And I got in at 8:00am. And I'll be missing deadline.

Yeah, it's phrasing. Sorry.

It should have said Len & AJ & Clov. There was that whole to and fro with Clov talking about AJ. So that IF Len is backing up his teammate (Clov) then that means there's sommmeee connection to AJ, right?

Is it bussing between teammates again (does this occur frequently, btw?); is it a scum trying to get rid of a town? I know he could also be a town, but I'm leaning towards scum for some reason. I'll discuss it with my other half.

When I first got here it didn't seem to be terribly common. Kaylee, Zander, and myself have all recently won games as mafia by doing it, so it might be a growing trend.

Bessie can you explain why you're ok with Zanders vote on Yates, because I don't see why from your posts above.

Interesting thought on Lenlo, but I got the impression from the DT that he didn't really enjoy the bussing in that game and my (admittedly not great) recollection from that game was that the bussing was initiated by Zander and Lenlo just got caught up by it. I do want to check/compare tone from Ragnarok, but that will probably have to wait till I'm home again.

Yeah, BFG, I can see where you're coming from but my view was the opposite. I believe Zander was just being his annoying self and Lenlo was bussing it like crazy. I had read through their scum thread too and Zander was his annoying self there too, whilst Lenlo was sweet and calm there. So to say. So I'm going to stick with my viewpoint that it's entirely Len's choice on being that way.

I'm okay with his vote on Yates because I trust him, basically. He has more experience that I have and, just like you, he sees connections where I do not yet. I can refer you to the post he voted in to read his reasoning.

I post when I can. At the very least everyone here knows I'm not a slanker so if I'm not posting it's for a good reason - because I'm busy IRL. This is the new normal that isn't really all that new. It's going on 10 months now.

I feel I need to repeat, I hate bussing. Especially to the extent Zander and I did it. Multiple times that game I tried to get him to calm down about it and add someone who wasn't his teammate to his PoE. Anyone who read the QT should know that.
