I disagree completely Alanna. I don't think meta analysis even has a 50% correct rate. Heres the thing, we are adults. We can read. So we can know what are meta is. You know what they can do then? Emulate that meta. I believe the people here in this game are good enough to emulate their "town meta" for atleast a day or two.

 

So when I see people getting cleared on meta, I get very confused.

 

Gonna try and do a Sooh ISO later today. I feel if we lynch him(her?), then we get to figure alot of stuff out. I get to know how good my theory is and we get to figure out BFG.

I think you answer your own question in that post. Yes, people can emulate their meta to an extent , but then it just falls flat over time. The thing with Zander is that he's well within his town meta and has been giving content. Surely you don't think we're going to slot someone as town and never get back to reevaluating their slot?

 

Why are Cory and I so low on your list? Can you also provide reasons for your reads?

 

With the way you people had been treating him, as if he was untouchable and I was evil just for doubting him, I couldnt be sure you would reevaluate him. Not without bias anyways.

 

Cory has been sheeping Z for awhile this game and that sudden jump to me sealed it. Yeah, Cory does what he wants but I dont think he would almost throw an EoD phase without explaining it even a little.

Zander has been noticeably pushing you and I could see you hating that but you seem to have evolved from "lashing out at Zander" to "lashing out at everyone about Zander"

 

Like literally you've made no impact on the game and you've just sort of been hiding behind the "I can't combat Zander's soulreads and I'm upset about it" as a reason to not really push anywhere else in a reasonable way, and you are now giving me flack for pushing you as time was expiring yesterday because I'm "sheeping Zander" as a way to combat that I have a read on you.

Actually this doesnt make sense... Assuming I was scum for a minute, why would I need to grasp at straws? I wouldnt say im in a corner or that ive locked myself into a certain set of reads. Only the Z squad is calling me a wolf and they dont have a case.

But that's not how this game really works, as it's not actually some winnable war or words, it's a game where you have to lynch the wolves via whatever means necessary

Well, I think we are playing a game of modelling a conflict between an informed minority (the mafia) and an uninformed majority (the innocents). At the start of the game each player was secretly assigned a role affiliated with one of these teams. The game has two alternating phases: "night", during which the mafia may covertly "murder" an innocent, and "day", in which surviving players debate the identities of the mafiosi and vote to eliminate a suspect. Play will continue until all of the mafia have been eliminated, or until the mafia outnumbers the innocents.

After that, immediately people tried to convince him to shoot someone else or to vote me. I believe those two lists of people, people pushing him to change his shot and the people pushing a lynch on me, coincide. Why would this happen? Because if your scum then scum either want Rack to shoot someone other than their teammate or to lynch someone other than their teammate.

 

This way they still get a town lynch without having to endanger a teammate. Are there townies on my push? Ofc, but I believe it to be scum lead. Thats why I am looking at you.

I seem to recall you calling me scum before the whole Rack thing was going down. Why did you call me scum then?

 

Also I would say it would be high risk behavior for scum to gamble on Rack changing his target after his last post clearly saying he'd submit my name.

High risk behavior, yes, but worth it imo. They get 2 townies with 1 phase, along with a nice setup on my lynch for tomorrow if it works out. Its a gamble that pays off over 2 phases resulting in 5 dead townies if it succeeds.

But this is the second "Cory didn't start posting a billion times early so he's not trying" I've heard today - the other from BFG - from people who seem to barely be reading the thread and just regurgitating things other people have said when they were more relevant

 

Especially considering if I give people flack for it someone just goes "we all spam too much and we can't read the thread" which is one of the long list of reasons I try to keep some distance from the thread before ~halfway+ through d1

 

Sometimes I just don't get it
