Yeah well it was kind of hard for us to get in contact due to conflicting schedule and stuff so I thought it might help to chat in real time.

We worked it out in the end though.

I understand that it's necessary for insanely active sites like POG that no night chat is essential for mafia, but I'm not sure the reasoning follows through to sites like DM. In this case no Day chat is killing mafia and I'm not sure that it's necessary?"

 

I'm not sure that no day chat for mafia is ever necessary tbh.

It probably didn't make much of a difference but I did feel crippled not being able to communicate with my team during Day.

Like when Clov was trying to explain what he thought Crusher flipping meant relative to me I was actually confused, that was not fake.

I'm hoping that the next game will be another Basic, which will be about Hawkwing or possibly the Aiel War. It depends on how fast the respective queues move.

Thanks, man. I thought you played well. I don't know that I would have voted Alanna or Liv over you on D4, but I was incredibly surprised to see both IR and Shad town. I was banking heavily on one

Yeah a lot of the setup seems the way it is because the format originated on a high post forum. I'm wondering if there's anything in the setup which prevents it from being the same roles but standard DM day/night chat allowed respectively (I can see a good argument for night chat being restricted for town anyway) and hybrid hammer...

A dusk phase would be nice.

I feel like it takes a little bit of the excitement out of the game not to be able to react.

It's like if your favorite sports team tries to score...and they either do it or miss but then life just presses a mute button and you can't do anything but just sit there calmly.
