Aww thanks <3

But you might suck at reading me. You trusted me last game, did you not?

I was a wolf in that game

I completely mailed it in and probably read about 20% of the posts in the thread (and won anyway yolo)

If you think I suck at reading you I endeavor you to prove me wrong

Lazy Saturday, I finally turned my brain on and caught up

I'm getting Town!Dice pretty clearly right now.

Actually liking Lenlo as well.  This may be a sign of the apocalypse.

I will defer on Sili to someone who can actually read him well - that'll be Tina or Cory, from what I can tell.

CorKey is cautiously town.  Always cautious where Cory is concerned.

I'll need to re-read to refresh my memory on others - as I recall, I was feeling pretty positive about Wishleste and Sooh, a little iffy on Leelou and Talya.  Nobody has clearly struck me as a great lynch candidate just yet but I'll put some #work in tomorrow to decide who I'd be happy voting.

My approach in general, simply put: Look for contradictions, logic errors, and slips, point them out, and identify and eliminate scum.

The major issue with this is that villagers contradict themselves, have faulty reasoning, are downright hypocritical and make the same grammar/wording/syntax errors/"SHROOPs" that a wolf has the "potential" to make. Someone literally "slipping" is absurdly rare and afaict only happens to people who are very new or are very inebriated.

But that's a story for another time, friend.

I just try not to lynch villagers.

Ocicat, what would you say that your strategy for this game is?

My approach in general, simply put: Look for contradictions, logic errors, and slips, point them out, and identify and eliminate scum.

Yo. Could you answer my other question?

Going to keep all your answers in my memory bank, BTW.

Or caught up in the moment imo.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this. Often, scum makes more sense than town. I try to lynch Celeste always because she doesn't make sense to me  -- as I've already mentioned many times in the last game. And Celeste rand luck = perma VT ....

Other examples of players who don't make sense as town: many. One friend makes no sense as town and a lot more sense as scum.

That's not to say that people don't scum slip. I would just advise, as Cory did, to not be too gungho on people who don't make sense. I just tunnel them instead, lol.

I think this entire list has 0-1 wolves at most and ~50% shot of a Loki. Barely ordered but tiers seem alright.

Jon Snow

Sili

Songstress

Dicetosser

Lenlo

Leelou

Mish

Lower confidence but same list:

Talya?

Sooh?

Actually it goes both ways. Scum sound weird. Town sound weird. It's a cesspool of information.

That's true too... Anything can be used by scum to paint town red.

(i.e.: anything and everything can look scummy if you try)

Lol. Probably didn't say anything much. I basically said everything = scummy. Go figure. Well, I think you know what I mean, Ocicat.

Which means my problems spots ARE...

(If I had to ORDER this one, it would go something like)

Ocicat
Wishleste
Eldrick
Taborline
Pral

TinaHel
Verbal

But a lot of these could be switched around as I have ~nothing or jumbled information on most of these players

But ~nothing and jumbled information does not a villager make and everyone else has SOMETHING to their credit I think is villagery for them

I didn't realize until writing it out how much not having a read on Tina's slot bothered me

I can usually clear her like 10-12 posts when she is a villager and she can attest to this

She has posted, she did make a post with CONTENT, and I still really have no sense of ease with her

That's probably a really bad sign

Then again I know Tina's been busy with IRL stuff so maybe we're just not connecting as quick as I'm used to

Let me go back and reread her posts in context and see if I feel different

Cory, could you explain your color system? I usually use florescent green = town and dark red = scum. My range of townier/scummier depends on how much red/green content the colors have in them. Then that makes sense that brown/gold = null, because it's an equal mix of red and green.

BLUE are people I think are villagers 99%+ of the time.

GREEN are people I think are villagers like 80-90% of the time depending on placement. In the last used I used a darker shade of green for JS and Sili which would put them in, say, a 85-90% bracket.

LIGHT GREEN are people I think are slightly > rand to be villagers. Basically they have done enough things where I would guess they are a villager but it's thin to the point where I'm not comfortable with giving them a strong lean. I am rarely wrong on my blues and greens in general, but a wolf slips into my light greens now and then and I'm aware of it.

GREY are people I think are = rand to me. I have no opinion on these people in correlation to players in a different bracket. They are mysteries.

ORANGE are players who I think are slightly to reasonably > rand to be wolves. I always have players on a draining system of town equity so sometimes null players slip into here depending on thread environment, etc. Really just depends on the way things are going and the level of content and behavior.

RED are players who I think are wolves more than like 70% of the time to just plain old outed wolves. If I have someone in here, you can be damn sure I have a good reason for putting them there.
