It just read increidbly awkward to me.  He's making a joke to Hallia, and then immediately turns around and asks if she's town.  It's like he wants to show that he's comfortable with her but then acts like he's not.  

 

But tbh, it's probably more about Zander than Seph at this point.  I feel his actual contribution to the game doesn't match the amount of posts he has and is just trying to remain visible

 

seriously clov???  you read star wars or mass effect man?  i post a lot and no not all of it is game related.  but as you know im more of a gut player.  im comfortable with everyone as you also know away from mafia.  im not great sometimes with how i word stuff but meh i do my best.

Actually, no.  I wasn't in mass effect, and while I was in Star Wars, I don't know how you started that game at all - it was 1600 posts in before I subbed.  I saw how you closed out though, and while you weren't always on topic, you definitely hammered your point home.  I don't know if town wins that game without you jumping up and town to get your point across. 

 

I can't fault you for not being THAT adamant yet - it's a day into the game - but I fully expect you would have done something besides fluff and throw out some seemingly empty +1's at this point.

I think he responded to my questions [both directly and indirectly] alright. I'm kind of torn on if I should go into detail as to my real thoughts on this because he has sort of said something but not been clear about it and I don't want to feed him a get out of jail free card if I'm wrong. But the basic gist is that some of us made a legit assumption that perhaps wasn't accurate. If that makes sense?

 

It makes sense, in a very vague-ish way.

If you don't want to feed him a get out of jail free card if you're wrong, then do as I do:

 

List out options.

If x is scum:

then posts make sense like this

If x is town:

then posts make sense like this

 

etcetera. Make sure you mention all the options beforehand, no? Then the other players can decide what they think about your analysis.

You (seemingly) voted AJ due to anger carried over from another game.  It had nothing to do with this one.

 

Laine is (seemingly) using her hydra position to try and figure out this game.  But obviously her position on LAH needs to change with evidence/reads, so she needs to have some kind of progression.  Otherwise it's a poor excuse for play.

It doesn't. At the time, he hadn't - though I can't remember if this was before or after Mish unvoted. And his voting AJ due to something in a different game IS different than Laine using LAH to help solve this game. Though it's gambling with RNGesus, I can see a point in choosing to lynch from the hydra list in the beginning (8 is smaller than 20) makes sense for THIS game. Kiv voting AJ due to a different game did nothing for this one.

 

But he's obviously moved on, so this is moot - why bring it up?

I have no real qualms with a Zander/Seph lynch besides ~middling reads on some of the players who are on it

 

I love Zander to death but this has been pretty much him in all roles since his absurd lololol powerbus of Talya in Belicheck and Seph has trailed off

 

Key's been very paranoid of them in hydra chat and I'm probably mildly biased reading that slot and I accept that about myself

Reads would depend on what else happened in the game, but I ABSOLUTELY would be looking at Pral more closely to see if he's a viable teammate.

That looks fine to me. Again, I dont think it makes Pral any more or less likely to be scum, but if that makes you want to look at him more closely/with more scrutiny go for it. If you were to try and push a lunch on Pral only because of the Kiv thing, I would have to shoot it down and call it a scummy push. If your just using it to look closer at him though thats fine.

During the only wolf game of Zander's I have ever read he was pretty much in line with his now usual villager play-style (high post content, repetitive, etc.) but in that specific game 85% of his gameplay was him bussing one of his partners

 

Keep in mind I'm one of those terrible "meta" players who tries to understand how individual people think and get in their head to see if what they say is genuine or not

Which given this section, I'm not sure you've done.  Or at least, you're coming across as conflicted in your read on the Mish/Kiv hydra.  You're not bothered by Kiv, but you knee-jerk vote Mish for her vote on you based on Seph's misrep of your reason for voting.  You come across as rather jumpy and looking for any excuse to place a vote, because it's a simple enough thing to just point out and say look, that's not what happened.  But you slapped an OMGUS vote on - and admitted that you haven't seen anything that's bothered you too much from her other half.

 

I like this point by Razen. Earlier Shad addressed this, I think, by saying something along the lines of he votes for who is scummy, regardless. I'll try and find it in a minute. But it seems imperative to take the other person into account when dealing with hydras.

Checked back in, read to mid-45, and going to post my first real vote of the game before getting back to work.  I really don't like the way [v]Unvote. Vote:Zander[/v] interacted with me, and particularly the misrep with respect to AtE.  And yes, I did deliberately wait for other people to call it out before acting on it; given the reactions I was getting, it was likely to be dismissed as spin if it just came from me.  Zander, you didn't answer Celeste, or Talya, but maybe you'll answer me and a vote: what did you see in my post as AtE?
