Kivam is pretty trustworthy now imo, because he helped end Lenlo and now he's focusing on Hallia, who really hasn't been contributing much recently.

 

I think Cory is safe as well as Yates. Not sure about the others.

The flips have basically reset my reads. I'm starting to think that my town reads potentially could be scum. Though... I really want to trust Yates, CoryKey, Wombat, and you atm. Could be a terrible idea. Probably is.

Trusting me in a mafia game is always a terrible idea, unless you're a cop with an innocent view on me and a dead godfather revealed in the game.  10 out of 10 times.  I fake townie really really well because my scum and town games are consistent.  So never trust me.

 

But agreeing with me works as long as you can follow my argument and agree with it separate and apart from the fact that I'm the one who's making it.

Uh ... Shad is scum.  MOST OF THIS GAME IS SCUM.  Any random lynch we make likely has a roughly 50% chance of taking out a mafia member; seriously, draw a name out of a hat and I'll lynch it today.  Our goal has to be to take out one of the teams as quickly as possible to get some of the kills out of the game.  Only way town can win.

More than half the game is scum with a gun. As far as I know, Town doesn't have a gun - just a vote. Scum need to get rid of opposing teams so it's in their best interest not to kill Town - yet.

 

It's not.  The exercise might have been useful if he hadn't handed everyone a script to use to go digging for town-characters to claim, a list of them in case they were lazy, and demonstrated that his own claim is about as likely to come from research as from a PM (btw, if there's a real uncle Randall out there, step up.  We'll lynch you and then Yates - or Yates and then you - and nail at least one scum).  So I've got no clue what Yates is looking to accomplish here.

You mostly answered your own question. It wasn't until I went through that exercise that I realized how few possible Town safe claims there are. In retrospect, I wish I hadn't linked to the script but whatever because of what I bolded. Yup. That's what I'm looking for. It protects us in two ways. Watch this... If scum counter claims me? At least THAT team can't shoot me OR vote me. If they do? When I flip Randall they just outed themselves as scum to the other teams. They don't want that because they need a numerical majority to win.

My guess is it's 5-5-5-5 and now there are 5 villagers and 10 wolves alive. But I suppose it could be 4-4-4-8 in which case there are more villagers than wolves.

Probably 5-5-5-5 which is why I think my idea is sound. There's simply not a lot of room for scum to hide in ~5-10 plausible Town claims.

 

This is the biggest pile of doo doo. You quote IMDB and then choose a character that you would have to look through the the script to find that you think no one else would have.

Everyone who was on Lenlo train will be dark orange.

Everyone who was on Sender will be maroon.

Everyone who was on Kivam will be dark grey.

John Snow and Hallia trains seem like throwaway votes so going to combine them both into cyan.

Non voters will be plum.

 

Ok now that coloring is out of the way we see some interesting things just comparing these two trains.

It looks very likely that Wombicait, Sender, and Kivam are all on a team and using their numbers. Trying to brute force the lynches.

One of our non voters is still not voting. It appears my counterpart has chosen to vote Pral, why I don't know. I'll ask him lol.

Of the the throwaway voters two aren't voting atm and Talya has again thrown her vote on a non moving train, at least for now.

 

Now let's look into the past and check some D1 trains prior to the lynch using the same color scheme,

@ Yates, you could easily have either claimed a role your saw or to prove you have that name, as the names are limited, it could be either, doesn't make you town by any means, you went out of your way to show it was a legit name. Which team are you on?

That would make a lot of sense if ALL you had to go on was VC and if you simply just forget everything you know about meta on these guys and how mafia games work in general. Sadly, there's also a whole game of interactions you'd have to read. To save you some time I can give you the simple answer. Wombicat, Sender, and Kiv were online and active at EOD. Think that maybe makes more sense than an entire team moving their votes as a blobk? Especially given Sender and Kiv were the two most viable lynch candidates - pushing each other - until the Lenlo wagon? This is REALLY obtuse thinking that you are trying to sell. And I know you better than that.
