Thane said he eould do anything to not get lynched. Bfg said thane wasnt in danger of being lynched.

Also thane is talking about rand's excuse. His first language is not english and I cant see thane throwing the game as blatantly against his wincon as that.

Question: do you guys think Rand would stoop to the level of blaming Cloudflare of some technical glitch on why he didn't submit a kill?

He's either a wolf that used up his shot, or he's a villager who's telling the truth. But this explanation is pretty bad, which makes me think he might be a villager telling the truth. I'm back on the fence with him.

Just to answer the bolded after reading back a bit: i'd try anything, even the most unlikely scenario, to not get lynched as wolf.

Common sense says i am town too.

I have played maybe 70 games. I have not once seen a wolf cfd away from town at mylo onto another wolf while planning a vacation.

Difficult to get away from this

That's sort of the problem I have :/ I think Thane, you and I all had Zander before Talya... I was lock clearing Thane (at that stage) so what does he gain by switching the lynch?

is it feasible that Thane did it to totally clear himself to endgame?

Sili's talk of things being absolute. Like his CASE A B C post and well this HAS to be this and this only. like his talk of shots/nk as well without factoring in stuff like doc protect and stuff like that.

Sili again makes the point in the above post 0 times that happens. then Thane says earlier he'd do ANYTHING no matter how unlikely to survive. and then dice has any explanation already out there for that.

it just sticks out to me.

Zander, I make absolute statements because there are certain things I know... like you are a wolf for instance, and I am town. But at the very least I have never seen a wolf do what you're saying Thane did. It's against a wolf's wincon to discard a mislynch, lynch a teammate, and bank on maybe a 10% chance there is a replacement for them in time to salvage his tarnished reputation. Literally if I was not here Thane would already be dead and this game would likely be over now.

Quotes above show you can build cases, or at the least pull quotes you don't like... why are you hiding in can't build cases?

My 3 cases are possibilities, the only objective possibilities from someone who has no information. There are no absolutes.

And honestly whenever you mention my talk about bullets, it sounds like you know I'm wrong and you're trying to leverage it. It's funny, because all I am leveraging is the possibility you do have a bullet, and the (near)-certainty no one else does.

No.it isnt against their wincon. That move can set a mafia up to be cleared to endgame. thanes holiday throws a twist to it but if we had rushed a zander lynch his going away would have had no effect.

I try to avoid having a meta.... i hate that. I know, it would help clearing me as town if i always do the sale thing, but clearing people purely due to meta reading them.... i don't like it in general. People should play the game more, not rely on previous experiences.

Also, i think i have cut down my D1 fluff and do post more content than anything else for the moment. i'm trying to figure this thing out, but am having a hard time.

OF you're really doc (i'm not buying it fully just yet) then the suspect pool would be smaller.

Where's Zander go, for instance? He used to be all over mafia games, but i can't remember recent posts?

Did Talya simply comment because she believes your claim?

mixed at the moment. The case presented against him (linking with Rand and all) was pretty convincing, but i kinda liked his posts in reply to the accusitions. On the other hand, i know he could talk his way out of things. He's not cleared in any way to me.

Scorsese kept the film going, regardless of the rumors floating around. The tragedies, of course we're very upsetting, but he had a job to do. Hiring extra security, the movies progress went smoothly for the next week. You could even see the players, and actors getting back too their normal selves.

We may end up finishing this movie after all, he thought to himself.

Still going Verb today nonetheless. It'll buy more time for me to continue reading back with flips in mind - but deep down I think Thane is more likely a villager than not unless he really committed to playing better as a wolf after SW. Really think it comes down to Talya/Zander and if Verb flips wolf today we'll be (maybe) fortunate enough to have room to lynch both just in case.

It's very unfortunate that Rand flipped town. And a vig, with an unused shot. Could have used that later on in the game.

Dice/laine interaction could have been effective distancing early game. But; i'll let it slide, seeing i'm the only one thinking that for the moment.

Suspicions are rising.... i think i've played the most townie game in ages, and still people think i might be a wolf. I strongly doubt that i'll be NK'd, just for the sake of being mislynched one of the coming days ( a scenario which i feel is already slowly being set in motion).

The issue is that once you decided that Talya was mafia you appeared to stop looking elsewhere. You called me mafia but did nothing to challenge me or confirm/change your read in any way, even when I challenged you on it. Everyone else you called villagery (and at some points seemed to shift me to null even if I was always your second read), even though even if you'd been right you know there are 3 people on the team, why weren't you ever looking for a third?

i was but no one stood out atp but i did say i thought the other was in the low posters where verb currently sits. so we will see.

Once Verb is out of the picture I have a feeling this game comes down to Talya/Zander.

Fortunately for us the lack of a NK gives us ~another lynch unless the wolves have a shot left and didn't take it. Either way, we can to be wrong twice before MYLO at F5 if the wolves don't have a shot left and there are no more vigs.

We hit a wolf today we'll be in really good shape moving ahead with 5-1 remaining.

We were at 4v2, mislynch takes it to 3v2. NK 2v2, town unlikely to have a shot (why I was asking you about vig shots earlier)

Currently at 3v1, mislynch takes it to 2v1. NK 1v1, but I have a better chance of blocking the NK.
