That's a lot for part time! I got 50 just this week, all 10hr days. I'm expecting to go to 60s soon, also not looking forward to that

 

I feel like I'll be up all night waiting for day. Maybe I'll retread a bit once I'm home

Yeah I know what you mean. I need to finish what I'm doing before I go. I don't work overtime per se. We have flexi time. Any time I do over I get back in time off at some point. We have to get special permission to get paid for any overtime.

Wow I've never heard of that, I wish I had more time off. I can leave early during school semesters when I have early morning classes but that's the only extra time I get off that doesn't count against me. I used to do two jobs and school, that was a bad idea. Problem is our paid time off only accrues to a certain point and unpaid time off is only 20hrs a quarter. I usually use it all for school. Lol

I'm lucky I know a lot of places don't do it. It has been really useful when it comes to child care. It might not be such a well paid job but it has its perks which help. I'm studying but it is paid for through work and they pay for travel and the time at college. All other homework I do in my own time. But still a very good deal. Just have a dragon for a boss.. Lol

I'm mad at my work because they have a program to support students earning a two year associates degree, but absolutely no financial support for students earning a bachelors. It's so hard paying the bills I have plus tuition out of pocket and still needing to work and make my grades. Which is why I can't move out yet. Even worse, I have no time I intern anywhere for job experience in my field. It's just all around a sucky monetary situation, never mind all my student debt haha!

 

Lol Eldrick I would hope so, but you said pay period so I got what you meant :)

We only have support for certain things, anything on top and they are not interested.

 

That does suck Laine. Did I see somewhere you were doing Accountancy? I might misread.

 

I have another bad headache coming on.. I hate getting these cluster headache/migraines arggg.

Yeah I'm a business admin major with a concentration in accounting. I pretty much graduate with 7 more classes, which will be next May/June. Probably get my CPA license after that.

 

Ours is only for certain fields too and I got all excited reading that they support accounting majors.... But only for associates degrees. Cruel world we live in.

 

Headaches are best managed with pre medication. Migraines are not managed, they are suffered through

altogether, i have over 13k in medical bills from going to hospital last August, that I haven't been able to start working on. And that's what my insurance didn't cover.

yikes! I thankfully have no medical bills. My student loans are worth more than my car though lol
