AJ take a look at that response. Thats not a standard sort of answer to that sort of thing. Thats pure honesty tone wise. NOT something Mafia posts.

I will agree that I thought the response was genuine, but that's not really the issue I have here. What I disliked was you saying that you left the mistake intentionally to see how Snow responded to it. That's not something I see you doing. Part of what I consider your town game is your bluntness. You're not the type to try tricky phrasing or whatever to get reactions.

 

 

Well I did it.  I wouldnt say there was tricky phrasing or anything. I simply didnt recant what was a fairly straightforward post.

I don't see the point of the reaction test.  Your post was obviously erroneous.  How would scum have reacted to it differently?

 

 

the point was to see what he did. i tone read a lot. he could have come in said "you are wrong im town" and nothing more. That makes the test useless. What he typed gave me a feel on him.

 

I could go back if you really want, but it was mainly just the feel I got while reading it.  They both seemed very cautious, which is not something I associate with their town games.

 

AJ has changed his style. I used to be a GOAT Aj reader. Now im not. Its bugging me. I seem to be voting him a lot lately.

Nobody is going to tell you reasons because reasons for alignments don't exist.  That's like asking for someone to explain why A comes before B in the alphabet.  Someone said it did and it was so.

Not quite sure what everyone is waiting for from me. I made a play, turns out the wrong play for the current meta, and i got hammered from almost everyone for it. As i am clearly so far behind everyone else, and have not played with anyone else anywhere near as much as the rest of you, what use are my reads? Hell, i don't trust them at this point. I think it's a little rich for AJ to jump on me for inactivity prior to that post as i had at least tried to engage with the game, but then maybe that is just symptomatic of the aggression that appears to have become dominant. 

 

Never been a fan of vote/unvote ad nauseam, and as i'm unlikely to make it back online before the deadline I need to vote tonight. And that will be [v]NotBob[/v]. Too aggressive by half. My read on him is egotistical jerk, throwing his weight around and trying to dictate how this game progresses. If he's town, that's great, if he's Mafia that's massive trouble and my gut, for what little it appears to be worth, says Mafia. 

Kinda subtle AtE.

 

NotBob still not even acknowledging me may be his new way of getting around disliking me?  IDK but either way I've been unimpressed with him too thus far.

If I'm misclearing anyone it could be Snow, maybe Dice. Then again I think Hallia as a wolf probably spews Snow/Dae as villagers for her handling of them. Not Bob is in my top group almost purely on tone. I don't think I've ever seen him as a wolf but I like the cut of his jib.

Seph is experiencing a phenomenon that I have coined as "He want's the D'arthe" syndrome in which he realizes that there is nothing that I wouldn't do as either town or mafia and now he effectively must assume me a wolf in every situation or accept defeat in 25% of the games we play together.

 

Did you know: I once copy/pasted posts that Cory made as town in a previous game while I was a wolf?  I was lynched D1.

Strong start.  How'd you get John Snow and Thane?  All I recall of them is JS crawling up my rear in early game and Thane being Thane-ish

I really should update things more.  I had this suspicion for a bit that if seph flipped wolf it implicated you and that basically had me blowing my reads up but now I think that early association was a dumb idea so at worst if he flips w it puts you yellow at most.

Snow for his fast start. Last time we played he didn't really take the offensive as a wolf and voted for really poor reasons. I was all over him towards EOD1. He felt sharp to me in some of his responses. I don't like that he's pretty much fallen off the wagon though. He's still voting Dice I believe? Would love to see him catch up and give current thoughts.

 

Thane is also somewhat of a tone read. He doesn't have a ton of content but he reads genuine. I would put him somewhere near Dice as far as my ability to read him goes - I also value his instincts as a villager and would love more input from him.

But you were a wolf that game.  Sooh was derpy but she was earnestly derpy.  Here she just seems to not care, like she was done before she started.  In any case I am tired of losing to newbies that look too bad to lynch.
