i defintely think there more then meets the eye there.

I'm still waiting for you to expand on this. Being relaxed and 'comfortable' gets you a Day 1 pass from me, but I'm going to need to see more soon!

So now we have votes and a train to work with, what do you think?

I think I'm not ready to get on that train yet... I haven't seen anything of Yates' to make me suspicious of him. Then again I haven't seen a lot from anyone to make me truly suspicious.

I find it interesting though that you have such a comprehensive list already. Still not sure why I'm in the orange zone... I am pretty sure I have been self conscious in every game I have played thus far, so...

I have Clov in my green zone, and leaning towards having sili and you there as well...

As for the others I have nothing much to go on yet. Dice not being so active could be indicative to scum, but given he has irl reasons I'll give him a pass for now... Zander seems to be the one stirring the pot the most, which is why it's such a surprise to me that people have voted Yates... Those votes still could be because !Yates though...

I'm not asking you to join the train, I'm asking what you think of it?

Not liking what sounds to me like a sort of FoS while going on to say that I'm near green. But at the moment it would be fair to say that you and Dice are both orange because I have least reason to think otherwise. So far you, Dice and Cass have no reads, Tress and Zander don't have many, Cass, Dice and Zander however all sound relaxed and comfortable, which with nothing else to go on makes them more likely town.

What's making you uncomfortable about Zander? Why is Clov green and Sili and I nearly green?

Clov for obvious reasons

Difficult when the game is so quiet but Sili looks engaged at the moment. His read on me is consistent with his current 'blues'. The early vote and questioning are a good look.

Yates is a weak meta read because I expect him to be more engaged as mafia.

Zanders hedging on Yates was before Clov started the train, not jumping on is probably a good thing. Extremely relaxed, although this is less of a ell than I'd normally consider it to be since he's possibly one of the more relaxed people on DM

Cass and Tress are null, since I have nothing to clear them on, BUT both are relaxed so far. Tress probably closer to a light town read than Cass, due to Yates interaction.

Sooh seems self conscious this game, and most of her contributions are 'null' statements (contrast with the Arthur game where she wasn't afraid to vote a claimed mason to kick him into gear) :/

Dice seems uninterested so far. I'd expect him to have an opinion on the Yates train by now if nothing else. But mostly I feel this should be a fun group for Dice and I don't feel he's having fun yet.

Your right i should and im not but thats due to RL. Will do what i can

Sorry to hear that :(

Your opinion on Yates votes, if/when Town you seem to read him more reliably than me.

I think Yates' train sounds a bit forced, so that's why I'm not joining it. I did ask however earlier why people voted Yates, but so far I haven't gotten any answers that have made me change my mind about not voting.

I have Clov in green because I am liking his posts so far, but not over in blue zone because of Yates vote. Yourself and Sili are above null for me at the moment, because you make some interesting points and I like what I see.

I'm not ready to put anyone in scum reads yet, because I haven't see anything indicative of that.

If I was to vote anyone right now I would vote Zander, but I really want to see more from him first...

The only issue I have with waiting is that we're close to deadline and, unless I misunderstood, NL is not an option. We stand a much better chance of hitting mafia with input from everyone.

For me, it's "down" to Yates/Zander/Tress/Cass atm. Dice sounded pretty genuine in his response to me, and I think town!Dice would own up to basically going off nothing.

Sooh gets the smallest town lean in history. Can't really point to anything specific... Mostly just not feeling her as scum

So here we go

Clov has worked to get the game moving which is a townie thing to do. Now Clov 'could' do this as mafia, but it's not something to suspect him over as is. His vote on Yates was by far the most townie thing on thread at that point in the game.

Yates is playing low effort so far, this 'could' be mafia Yates replicating his low effort town game, but for now I'm inclined it more likely that this is town Yates. His response to the votes is possibly more wounded town than scummy as well. Hopefully he'll become more obvious once the game gets going.

I would be reluctant to lynch Zander today, mostly because I think him more likely to be town, but partly because DM 'courtesy' doesn't lynch noob players Day 1, partly because we want them to come back and play again, partly because it's difficult to read noob players as they tend to come across as scummy (admittedly I have a blind spot here). If he doesn't start adding more of value soon then I'll likely change my mind here.

I could tin foil on Sili and of my town reads and am currently more likely to do so than my other greens due to low thread presence, I'm more comfortable reading Sili during thread interaction and I'm seeing not much of that here, him bailing on the thread after telling me he liked his current PoE is a red flag to me since he normally develops reads through in-thread interaction. On the other hand his thought process is still sort of transparant so can get a light green read till tomorrow.

Tress is closer to green, early posts are paying attention (I had the same initial reaction to Sili's posts in terms of making me uneasy, finding them aggressive), she also seems relaxed around Yates, but has been absent recently :(

I have nothing more to add on Cass, she seems relaxed, but there's nothing content wise yet, the more posts she does with 'more later' the worse I'll feel.

Not much to add on Dice, sorry to hear about RL. I really don't like that he's come in and basically commented on who Zanders mentor is. He was also OBV town at the end of the game, that just finished, but that was building on an overall OBVtown game.

Sooh's tricky I knew her alignment when I was reading her posts in the Arthurian game so can't be a reliable judge. But typically I expect TownSooh to be more involved, as an example - she voted a claimed mason (Yates) who was being backed up by another claimed mason (Pral) because he was low effort, there's none of that this game and in fact is 'nulling' people because of it. SLast game she spoke to people she'd never interacted with before, presumably in an effort to understand them, this game there's none of that (for example, I don't believe her and Clov have met before?). If I was Ithi I'd be jumping up and down over Sooh's self-consciousness about being lynched, while last game she was worried about being killed #InnerIthi.

Here on mobile during appointments in the city today. Have only skimmed the thread and basically have nothing yet.

Slightly iffy on Zander but not sure how much of that is due to noob and me paying extra attention to his posts.

Will try to sit down properly at lunch and have a better look.

Cass?

Well.. I went back and read the thread, basically ISOing myself, and to be fair, I have sounded jumpy... It may be because I'm trying to throw myself out there more, whereas earlier I have tried to observe more and always been jumped at for low post count, so there's that... Of course the fluff so far isn't going to help me much in that department...

As for Clov I do know him a little from chats, so that means I have interacted with everyone in this game before.

I wish I could convince you that I'm town from this, especially since I feel my contributions in mafia games usually gets better as the game goes along and I have more to work with... Then again, I see where you're coming from.
