The way Sili phrased it definitely makes me think he was hardclaiming, but I'll like to hear him say it first.

If he's hard claiming he's a liar. But that doesn't mean he is scum. 2/3 of his scum pool is 1/2 of my scum pool - and that's only because he's faking an inno on Dice. So if 2/3 of his list aligns with 2/3 of my list? I'm willing to split the difference and lynch between Sooh and Tress.

Ladies? You've got some gaming to do.

This is Sili we are talking about. The two things we both do as VT is 1. try to draw the NK and 2. provide Seer cover. I've seen nothing to suggest this isn't the case.

I would bet heavily tress is one of them. Will explain later

You do that.

And you would be wildly incorrect.

But I'm anxious to hear your explanation nonetheless.

Was awakened far too early this morning and I'm having coffee now post-nap and trying to get my head wrapped around this.  I'll be around a bit trying to do some rereading and making sense.

Well, I had Sili as firmly town based on D1 and was leaning towards him actually being the cop.  Based on that, I pretty much have to clear Cass, since she was the N0 peek.  He went from trying to lynch Dice at EoD to clearing him - that doesn't make much sense from a scum POV, so that actually seems like a cop target.  If I take the three of them off, that leaves me with a PoE you/Yates/Sooh, just like Sili said.

I was originally leaning mafia on Yates, but I thought his play IRT Zander was correct from a town POV, and he seemed willing enough to reconsider his read on me...when I was still a viable lynch candidate.  Maybe mafia!Yates suddenly decided he won't lynch somebody he likes (I'm assuming he likes me, anyway)...but beyond that, I can't come up it any good reason scum would be looking to take their own candidate of the table.

Now in regards to you, it was something I noticed yesterday before deadline.  Your reads just seem...off to me.  Specifically, your Yates read.  Everybody experienced with the two of you know you have a very hard time trusting him in games.  I mean, you used an investigation ability on him when YOU were the serial killer.  In Be Nice, he was probably the second townies person in the game.  You still (correctly)copped him.

So basically, in a game where I was all set to string him up, the #1 Yates tinfoiler had him as one of the few people with a positive feeling?  Seems like a TMI-based read to me.

And that's the only reason I would have accepted from you.

You can be town.

Reading Yates as town is out of character for me, and there were a couple of reasons why I did it intentionally - first, because I was considering the possibility that he can't ALWAYS be mafia, and he was actually giving off potential cop vibes.  Which I considered might be seer cover vibes.  But there were vibes.

And then the second reason is that while I dislike fake claiming or hinting myself as seer cover, I didn't want to make the mafia's job too easy by ruling myself out as the seer by having NO confident town reads.  You dig?  I wanted them to have to consider me in the pool along with the people who were providing obvious seer cover.

Sooh took herself out of that pool by one of her answers to you early, and I made a mental note of that and decided it wasn't beneficial to town for me to do the same.

That said, if Sili is hard claiming, we can go with his lynch pool.  We'll have this narrowed down quite a lot.

If Sili is not hard claiming, I don't trust him - that may be a failing in how I read him, but it's not all on my shoulders at this stage, thankfully.  Don't let me get to F3 with Sili still alive, though.

So if we are going with his lynch pool, what is your order?

I'd go for Sooh first, personally.  I know I'm town, and if Sili isn't hard claiming then I'm not ready to off Yates.

And Sili apparently isn't willing to hard claim, which keeps him on my list.

That I don't believe him, yes...

Actually, what it sounds like is a setup.

If I was trying to set him up I would probably do a better job of it, but ok... if you believe he is a seer and has viewed Cass...

:/

wait. hold up.

if i'm hardclaiming, yates could easily be a villager anyway. I haven't peeked him w or anything.

Why would you off him?

If we were going from your short list, Sili, which was the premise of that post... of the 3 you listed, I'd lynch Yates over myself because I KNOW I'm town.  Does this not make sense to you?

Why would you limit yourself to my list though?

i'm just assuming clov is town, after all. and what if sooh is a wolf and not yates, have you given sooh proper consideration?

That. Was. The. Premise. Of. The. Post.,

I said if you were hardclaiming, I had no problem lynching from your pool.

Clov asked me what my order would be.

Since you refuse to hardclaim, I won't be limiting myself to your pool because you're still iffy in my view.,

And Sooh was my FIRST choice for lynching from that pool, and regardless is someone I would consider because it looked to me like she was trying to set you up as a lynch D3 if you didn't die N2.

plus why does it sound like every post I read you're pressuring me to claim or else i'm a suspect? that's unrealistic.

I'm saying you're a suspect to me, you've been a suspect to me, and unless you're hard claiming (in which case you're off the list), I'm not planning on giving you a free pass because you're providing seer cover.

If you don't like it, tough.  I may just have a very hard time identifying your town game, but such is life.

You really do not seem very concerned with giving me cover, despite your insistence to the contrary.. You seem a lot more concerned about who to sheep.

Oh, and that bold is.. 'don't let me' implies a guilty conscience, and the rest an or else mentality. it reeks of posturing more than it does accountable thought process.
