In my mind there is a big difference between 'fake' claiming and speaking for your partner. The latter simply cannot be talked out of. So I'll acknowledge your claim with the caveat that if Pralaya comes back and denounces you, then I'll lynch you, but otherwise give you the benefit of the doubt.

Not really. The whole point of certain roles is to draw the NK. Bodyguard, for example. Bulletproof and vengeful townies, for a couple more. 2 masons don't really add a lot of value to the Town. I will agree that ONE CONFIRMED mason adds value - but you want that other mason to be at the hands of scum [as Verb has already pointed out].

 

So it honestly doesn't behoove any protective roles to "waste" a protection on either of us tonight. The best thing is to do as a protective rol is protect someone that can be of actual informational use to the Town and hope they guess right. The other thing is that this forces scum to make the choice of killing one of us - thus turning the other into essentially an innocent child OR to try to shoot into the weeds and hope they hit a doc or cop or something more DIRECTLY dangerous to them. Again, this is why Verb said you need to let Mafia sort us out for you.

In regards to my voting habits and application of pressure, there are two ways to view a lynch. I want to lynch wolf, of course, but failing that I want to lynch the least competent townie so I have a better chance of finding scum day 2 or 3.

 

There are 4 wolves, I think we can assume that much.

 

I'm pretty solid on my town leans for eldrick, pralaya, dice, elizabeth, and thane. And runner-ups include Verbal and Cass and Yates.

 

So to me this leaves a very select bunch for mafia to hide in.

 

e.g. Alanna, Wombat, Not-Bob, Dawn, Leelou, Sooh, and Hallia.

 

I'm busy working out whether Verbal cass and yates (and hallia) deserve to be town leans. And I want to find the most likely candidate for a wolf on my list, but failing this I would rather lynch someone useless (not-bob unless anyone seriously objects) instead of someone like Wombat.

Unfortunately, too much of the game has centered on that.  I'd say my top suspect right now is Eldrick, but that is due to his posting re: the Masons.  So based on what you're asking, I can only provide my few town leans:  Yates, Sili, Thane, and yourself.  Everybody else is null at this time.
