I retract my idea. In double checking to see if there was any way this could possibly fail I realized that "double voter" was one of the role options. If that's a scum role [unlikely but possible] then it could fail.

 

That's a good point. I forgot that was an option. It's no longer as safe as I thought to test it.

Okay, tired of waiting.

 

I ask, because I'm under the impression that somebody thinks I "slipped" about my role.  Earlier, Darthe said the smart play was for the doc to protect MrsClov (technically he said the vig, but this was well after she claimed, so I'm filling her name in).  I sarcastically remarked that I was just going to draw names out of a hat, since I obviously know how to play the damn role.  I tried to cover it up with this post.

 

 

....I mean, I was going to suggest drawing names out of a hat.

 

You know, make it seem like I didn't just give myself up as a protector.  Sili asked what we were doing, and I followed up with this.

 

 

My comment wasn't about her, but it's probably best if we don't discuss it more than we already have.  Because lolsme.

 

To be honest, probably not my best effort to get scum to ignore it.

 

 

 

And that's okay, because I wasn't the protector and was deliberately trying to get their focus on me.  It seems to have worked, though not the way I had intended it.  I say this because I lost my original role and am now vanilla - the work of the evil priest, I have to assume.  I'm concluding that to be one of scum's abilities, because I don't think "Evil Priest" could possibly be town, and everybody seems pretty Pro-Clov this game; if a townie was suspicious of me enough to turn me vanilla, they'e done a hell of a job of hiding that.

 

So congratulations, scum.  You messed up.

 

 

TL;DR - Scum had a 1x ability to vanillanize, and I was not the PR they were looking for.

Oh hey, that's potentially a good tell for me as town this game Sili.  As mafia I take the time to consider what I am going to say and as town I don't.  I'm okay with looking dumb as town so long as I can get everything out that I think might be helpful or relevant.  Not a consistent tell but maybe it'll help.
