Nyn's been the main person driving conversation this phase, and I don't want to vote her at the moment because more chatter is good. So, Clov keeping his vote on her makes me uneasy. I don't get AJ's vote on Clov at all. I'm really not a fan of Darthe jumping on the bandwagon for Nyn and switching to Sili a few posts later. I've got no idea of how he usually plays, but his posts come off as more disruptive than productive. Sili isn't pinging my scum radar as much as he was in the last game, and seems to be genuinely trying to find scum. I don't really have anything to say on the others. I've caught another infection and don't know how the next couple days will be, and don't even know what I was going to say anymore, so I'll leave it at that.

The point of your play is for there to be a disconnect, unless you're saying I should vote you.

 

I could totally vote you since there's a high chance between you and the people on your wagon there is always at least one scum.

I can actually accept that explanation, but does that mean they're wrong?  You.an say bad play doesn't make him scum, but it doesn't make him town, either.  Who do you feel is a better candidate right now?

I like Zashara right now.

 

I  need to confirm my town vibes on Yates, but I think I'll find what I'm looking for when I go over his iso.

 

Lily and Leelou are null.

 

Thane, as Mrs Clov mentioned, is seriously lacking. Darthe is a shiny object.

 

Dice is notably absent.

 

Barm, I don't like, because he seems opportunistic and sniping to me. His thread presence is seriously lacking too.

 

Verb is a wolf because he sounds fake.

I don't have a read one way or another on Dice, Thane, or Lily.  Based just on numbers, you might be right, but I don't have enough to push any of them individually.  Don't like the inclusion of Leelou as a candidate.

 

Pretty null on Barm too, but I'm inclined to say you're right about that group because Darthe is probably my top candidate right now.  I don't see Verbal being scum at all right now.

Other than Verbal being a strong candidate, I don't really have any significant issues with the order you just gave Sili.  I've got YOU low because I still think your approach to Darthe looks bad.  I'm inclined to agree with Verbal's take on it - whiteknighting based on you knowing his alignment.

 

You changing it seemingly on a whim doesn't sit well with me either (you looked to be town reading, said you were null on him,and now he's your strongest weak scum lean).  What's happened in the past five hours to change your read on Darthe?

I never town read darthe. After darthe voted nyn he was scum to me but his response to pressure brought him back to null. Since then he has been trending up and down simaltaneously becaise both verb and barm are voting him but he continues to troll the thread.

I'm basically echoing most of what you're saying. The low posters, like I said before, have to post more for me to be able to get a read. And I'm reading Verbal as town too.

 

People who have been suspects imo are Zash, Darthe and Yates. I'm kinda going back and forth on Darthe because what I specifically didn't like was the vote and really bad defense. There were some posts later that were okay, And then some more eh ones. It does kinda bug me that there isn't a competing train and his keeps building...... but maybe I'm overthinking it.

I dont mind getting voted. I find it beyond suspect that those voting me are specifically (and exclusively) a group of players that has specifically played on DM or with one another elsewhere. Does it indicate a cultural bias or something?

I think the reason Darthe's train bugs me is mostly Barm and Lily's vote. Verbal and Leelou have FoSed other people aside from Darthe. Plus Verbal's reason for voting Darthe is legit imo. Lily and Barm, though, have thrown around some town leans but their only suspect is conventionally the leading train. Not sure how I feel about that.
