My favorite part about this game was intimidating Cass, no doubt lol

Lol. I don't know that I will ever, ever read you as 'not Scum'.

And I admire your insight and ability to be succinct so I really, really want to know how!!

@Leelou can you explain your rationale for not hammering Dice when you had the chance?

Don't give her that.

I specifically told you Eldrick was going to hammer me, and you told me Eldrick wouldn't do that and took  your time convincing Leelou. This is your fault. >.>

I would have even if I was town. That double role thing and only posting half of it was sketchy, and sounded fake.

It''s because you dont know me, I think. I'm more prone to be 'agressive' and stubborn as town, but I can usually pretend as scum too. So the force of my punch isn't that telling. Unless you can tell the nuances like Verbal and some others.

This thread was so engaging I followed it as if I was still playing along.

Sili, you actually made more sense to me this game!! For the *most* part I didn't actually think you/wasn't convinced you were super suspicious scum!! :)

That award went to Eldrick... You asked for constructive criticism so here goes: I've not seen your Town game but the main things that pinged for me were: Your thing about voting before reading your role PM and your justifications (felt wrong and made no sense to me, in the spirit of the game, so it stuck out to me as likely to be untrue/a tactic more likely to be employed as scum than Town); and at times your following others (in general and especially when it contradicted your previous thoughts/rationale) sounded too much like opportunity/didn't show the work or individual consideration that I tend to associate more easily with Town.

MrsClov did an awesome job of showing that sort of stuff, and even I had convinced myself she was probably actually Town. Her and MisterClov seem an incredible mafia pair, though I was still paranoid on the 'what ifs' of one or light forbid both of them being scum.

Also loved that they randed who they did.

Alanna Thanks for the flavour and setting of the game!

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind.

Only my teammates can tell me that i sketch them out sometimes. u can't since u weren't engaged in finding scum.

That's not completely true. I was hunting for reasons to peg someone as scum. Those tools are irrelevant of personal alignment, The only thing being scum changes is who not to look at.

I can try! It's somewhere to start at least, thanks!

No. Generally a lot changes for someone depending on their role, and not just, and maybe not even, who they focus on.

And going with the flow and easy lynches isn't really townie.

To touch on this, I'm intimidating?

I'm not sure if intimidating is the right word... incredibly challenging for me, maybe?

In the few games I've played with the two of you, your styles are so brief and insightfully direct and... null... That I'm scared/convinced there wouldn't be much difference in your gameplays either way.

Being new to the game I rely a lot more on reading people's potential motivations through tone and nuance than reading mechanics/actual actions. About the only thing I do get out of your 'tones' so far is that Nyn can easily sound/be aggressive and that both of you have a far greater insight/understanding of game moves/mechanics than I can even hope to.

It worries me because none ofthat iseven slightly alignment indicative, and it's so far over my head at this point that I'm sure you could each run rings around me as scum!

But I want to know when you're Town so I can learn to follow your train of thought/understanding of the game in context lol

This does not give me any hope...*g*

That will probably be more comforting if/when I ever manage to figure the slightest of clues for them as well... Until then I think I'm going to have to rely on flips or Seer clears!

I think Leelou is tough to read. She has fooled me before as scum at least twice that I can think of. Prolly more. She's a scary broad :P

I don't think I have managed to trick her before. Maybe only once..... and only kinda, but not really  LOL

Okay so. Mrs.Clov did a great job at towntelling imo. I didn't really tinfoil about her at any point. Her shot was unfortunate, but such is life. I hope she plays in DM again. I'd certainly like to play with her more. She and Verbal were my first strong town reads. Verbal was an obvious townie too because he just was. I wish he'd always play like this when he rolls town because it made it easier for me. Sili started off as a town lean and it build up to a strong one pretty quickly. He was involved, invested and hyper. On the day he learns to fake that as scum, I'm pretty much screwed :P   Leelou was a work in progress cause I'm careful with her after my past failures to make her as scum. But she was definitely in my town pile. AJ was giving me good vibes all together but I didn't really dwell much on him cause he was sort of absent.

Lily and Barm are a tough read for me. Mostly cause I often find them both scummy regardless of what they rolled. Barm I've vigged before when I was 100% convinced he was scum and he ended up flipping town. So I know that with him I can't rush to conclusions and really have to take my time. The way he went about confronting Darthe came across as he was genuinely pissy and I didn't feel like he had an agenda in mind. That's why he was in my null pile and that's why I wasn't on his train. I thought there were plenty of scummier people around that AREN'T usually scummy to me but were pinging heavily. Lily was somewhat scummy, but she was posting more than she usually does on D1 and I took that as a positive sign. So again, while she didn't make it to my initial town pile, I had no intention to lynch her any time soon.

Thane had no content so he was squarely in my nulls. I think he started showing his ass considerably as of D3 or so. Yates to me was pretty obvious. He was being shady, trying to show previous moves of his to prove his alignment in this one. He always adapts his play and him even trying to go that way was pinging hardcore. Zasha I pretty much caught with her OP because talking as a person who knows her, I knew she wouldn't be frazzled by D1 on DM. It's just not like her to react that way and I'm glad I was right, despite Barm assuring me that I was wrong cause he THOUGHT he knows her best *sticks tongue out*

Darthe... was a major liability to town and should have been lynched on D1. No regrets from my part on that front. He deserved to be mislynched. I get why scum made a point of keeping him around. They could use him as a front for mislynches and then pin it on him. Reminds me of the 'Get behind the Ape' concept that JNers have when Ape runs town into the ground. Same thing.

Thanks for playing all, and definately thank you to our Host Alanna and the co-mods for making this happen.

*hands virtual drinks to all, seeing he can't send real ones*

which reminds me...    ...

Theres a sudden sound of hoofbeats heading straight for Thane.....

One thing i didnt get was WHY i had to steal exalibur. I didnt get any bonus out of it like arthur would have.

I enjoyed the game  thank you Alanna!

When i rolled survivor i was parking it...i had no idea how I was gonnaa manage this. Usually im either too scummy  even when town and get lynched or im SO town Mafia kills me.  When i saw someone put me in the middle of their reads i was ecstatic. thought i was doing something right.

I think as a survivor i will always aim to win with town. It could lessen pressure on me when claimed if ive been playing a very town game and i think town has the best chance for a survivor to win due to numbers.

And at least Yates didnt kill me the night before the win this time...

I didn't have much of a read on you either, dice. But I remember yesterday when Yates' made that post I laughed and told Lee how are people not noticing Yates basically threatening you that if you don't vote with him, he's gonna have you killed at night. It was RIGHT THERE lol
