I think her bottom four suspects are pretty good. I might swap one or two out of there with someone else but for the most part I agree with her view on the game currently.

 

I would say my top town reads as of now are Red, Tina and Crusher.

 

I would put Verb and Hallia a tier below them.

 

Then out of Thane, you, Nolder, Leelou and Kay I think we have a high chance of hitting scum.

 

Thane dropped some after rereading last night. I understood what he was saying about his suspects D1 but as the phase ended he had returned back to floating mode. I'll need to see some significant strides from him this phase before I'm comfortable moving him back out of my WTL pile.

My not-vote at eod doesn't matter when the wagon on Dice was L-1. But, if it matters to you because you think I didn't want to submit myself to vote analysis, then by all means put me on his wagon in review.

Verb could be me falling victim to my own paranoia. Like I said previously, he's playing a clean game and coming across sharp so I don't have him as an immediate suspect but I'm by no means willing to clear him at this time. I expect if he's a townie he'll probably be killed before I reach that point.

 

I'm waiting to see what Hallia comes back with when she gets the time. The longer she's absent the more my suspicion will grow but I'm feeling patient today so I'll wait to see what she's got to offer.

The fact that you didn't vote Dice isn't really a big deal to me. At that point his lynch was secure so you voting or not wouldn't have made a difference either way.

 

I feel at this point you and Nolder are polarized after the long exchange over much ado that really went nowhere in the end. I felt better about you after reading the thread in it's entirety last night (there's one post in particular I really liked) but I'm still not over the sense that you may have been trying to establish a narrative out the gate.

Hallia's ISO over the course of 4/5 real life days. Summary: demonstrates poor read progression. Has impulsive vote on villager in opening post. Votes Nolder for a flimsy reason, and doesn't follow up on it. She doesn't appear to check in until N1, for that matter. Then blames crowd for lynching Dice, and leaves.

No use talking about who we think is "strong" or "weak". All it will do is get people defensive for being picked as strong, or defensive for NOT being picked as strong.

Reading the first few pages, it is not easy to get initial reads. Based on Sili's opening posts, the responses by people like Nyn, AJ, and Nolder are very easily made by town or scum - therefore, I'm marking that entire discussion as null.

Feels good to be back in a Mafia game, I can feel the juices flowing already.

I'm with Nyn on this subject. Highly circumstantial and would vary person to person depending on how the randomization went. The part I don't like most specifically is suggesting the focus be on a certain group of players who are considered better than others while the remaining are theoretically given a pass.

Sili, what you say might have carried weight if we weren't aware of the choosing mechanic. Since we were told about it then the upside of choosing a "weaker" player is precisely this. So I still disagree with your premise. It's wifom.

I like both of these, liking Nyn and AJ so far for townies.

I think most people would pick their friends or whomever they're most comfortable with. For example I probably wouldn't pick Kaylee and I don't think she'd pick me. I don't think we've ever been on a team before and it would be kind of awkward at the least. There are a lot of ways one could approach this puzzle and you're focusing on one. I also think it's both funny and convenient that you've included yourself as someone who should get less attention today. Also ironic since you're being so outspoken and driving the conversation.

Blue bolded is something I agree with and was pointing out earlier with the angle-shooting/narrative line.

b) if im a weak player explain my success rate as mafia. I get mislynched as town much more then i get lynched as mafia. But weak or strong is crap. AJ is a good player yet I once caught him because of like his second post in a game. Verbal is good but leelou picks him out pretty easily. Everybody has weaknesses. Everybody has strengths. And you can get caught even thru your strengths. Oh aND YES players DO get lynched for their strengths here.

I'm in agreement with the beginning of Dice's post, it's good to see that I'm not alone in my reads thus far.

Another thing that bothered me was the ease which Kaylee was willing to roll with the idea.

Eh....I more saw it as Kaylee trying to be active, and responding to direct questioning.

Hmm after thinking about it only two people I'm worried about right now are Thane and Dice.

Thane I just haven't seen anything notable from whatsoever and Dice got kind of defensive over the "strong/weak" thing.

Which to be fair could have been just a natural reaction to being called weak.

My take-away is that Hallia doesn't care about lynching scum. She isn't engaged in the game, and I consider that a big red flag.
