Because when Yates did the gambit, there was no need for her to counter him. Yeah, Yates said that she might have said it to trap him. But, most likely, if she was scum, she would have just laughed in her QT , try to get me lynched and after my flip get Yates lynched.

 

I don't follow.  Why wouldn't she try for the trap and quick lynch on Yates?

 

Because if he is scum, there is no need to reveal herself.

Go for a quick lynch on me, see me flip town and then push the notion that Yates is scum because he lied. That would have been her optimum strategy.

actually, if you could link one of his town games that would be terrific. i want to compare tone and get a better idea of what 'awkward' is for him. i have a theory that someone's villager game is a lot more revealing of their character.

He was town JOAT in that game. From what I remember, it was similar to his "old" meta of being pretty inactive at the start, and starting to ramp up as the game went on.

 

Okay just skimmed over his iso in that game. Here's what I saw there that I am not seeing here:

 

Much less hedging

MUCH better tone throughout, and easy to follow progression on thoughts

MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH better ability to recall specific game events, is able to keep things like vote switches and such in mind and call people out on specifics, and call people town on specifics

 

Considering he has WAAAAAAAAAAY more posts this game than that game (like almost 3 times as many) he can't come back and argue that he had a better hande on that game than this one. He's been posting, he's been present.... he's just been scummy as well.

The conclusion that I reached there matches close with what Tommy said. I have basically drilled down to two separate scum team possibilities and reading stuff based on that.

2 things:

 

1. I don't think wagononics posts are NEARLY as effective without a scum lynch (or scum flip of any kind). Votes and the situation around votes can be spun in diff ways to present diff conclusions.

 

2. I DEF don't like you linking yourself to a dead villager in Tommy. Why should his thoughts have any relevance to yours here? Why talk about what he said at all, as if it strengthens your position?

 

Furthermore, I ask you for GOAT stuff and you point to an earlier post you already made?

Wagonomics without a scum flip just aren't very conclusive imo. I'd take then in support of another case or something, bit I wouldn't make a decision at this point in the game based on a wagonomics post alone.

 

Also Pray- earlier I pointed out how in the past you said as scum you would just pocket me and say how good my reads are. This game you're pretty much doing exactly that.

 

Am I misclearing you? Why didn't you comment on that?

at a glance i half-ways agree, but verb started off this game much the same way he did then too. jokes and small posts/hedging, he said at some point. and i can see the difference in structure being circumstantial due to his pr, and quality/volume/pace of the game. the tone isn't that different either.

 

meh. you bring up some good points, some bad. i'll probably put down the hammer, just to get an answer, but i like waiting. maybe we can lynch hallia instead? if verbal is right about her it probably means he's town.

 

to mention ~between arsis and hallia i don't know who i want to lynch more. probably arsis... even though i'm a psyduck ( ) about who's scum and who's not.

That's the issue.  I'm not sure right now.  If I had a good idea, I'd be all over them.

 

 

Which is why I want to lynch someone who I think has been scummy in Verb so that we can try to use night actions to sort this out.

Just for this Dice I'm going to iso you tonight and see if I can resolve your slot better besides just the connection with Verb thing. that last post of mine you quoted that you didnt like. it had a purpose but i never followed thru on it. I was tinfoiling about key/bfg after tommy got killed. was thinking about why tommy died but no key/bfg. if it was me id have killed the jailer. takes out a town protective role and leaves tommy for later where i might get a better advantage out of him.

 

but im not the best tactician around so i wanted to see if people agreed. if the answer was overwhelming yes id have voted them. but i got lazy and never followed up

I know I was behind a lot of the game but 200+ pages was just too much. I could only manage to catch up till end of D1 before I submitted my holster.
