He's obviously scum lurking and buddying it up with tom on the pm's. Meanwhile Tom is pretending not to know because he's going to be vigged and he doesnt want their closeness used against aj.

Sili: if you were a wolf what do you think would be different about your game? You feel different in this one because you have this confidence to you that that feels unmerited or inappropriate given this is a brand new environment for you, and that confidence was there from the get-go. How do I know you're not a natural bravado wolf (or are having fun goofing around in that role for the first time)?

Still catching up but I just want to say that Salami you're completely wrong and Clov and Wombat are completely right- you HAVE played an objectively terrible and scummy game. Basically your only fallback all game has been meta, and good players will NOT like clearing someone because of meta in the face of mountains of evidence indicating otherwise. You've been just absurdly focused on trying to say how townie you've been this game, and besides the point of that not even being true, IT IS SCUMMY BEHAVIOR. Scum are way more focused with making themselves look town than actual town are.

In other news Wombat's recent posts DO look fairly good, but I'm not ready to clear him off my suspects list yet. Clov I can still see as town here frustrated because of how absurdly scummy Salami looks, which I can totally see coming from a town POV ( iwas there recently myself) but him tunneling and not discussing others much besides arguing with Tommy isn't a great look

Thane is still megazords scummy and I'm greatly disappointed in yall  for not seeing the obvious scumslip for what it was

Btw it's kinda dumb Wombat pulled the exact same semantics Crap with saying he didn't defend Alanna

That and him defending Clov more still has me concerned about him

Tommy, not sure exactly what you're asking, what did you want clarification on?

I don't so much find Hally's reread itself scummy, but after re-evaluating, I decided it was a null move to me, rather than it being a townie move. Thus, she's back to being a top suspect to me.

Let's start with what did you like about her posting before you changed your mind on it?

Mostly that she seemed open to re-evaluating some of her previous thoughts, for instance, her scum read on Wombat. And just in general, her reread posts made more sense than a lot if the illogical thoughts she was posting earlier.

However, looking back over those posts, there really wasn't much to them at all, and by the end if the reread, she was back to scum reading Wombat, so it's possible that her initial change of mind there was designed to make it look like as though she was willing to cone to some new thoughts.

This exchange makes me feel good about Alanna again

Disagree with the Hallia read, but she is defending it fairly well imo, and Hallia certainly isn't an opportunistic vote right now, more of an against the grain vote atm

I would be confident as a wolf too, but not right away, and it would come out differently. Instead of unabashedly defending people I would insinuate small pushes against them.

Knowing this however, it would be discrete, probably discrete enough for you not to notice.

So I guess you'll have to trust me when I say my excessive confidence is predicated on my ability set and the apparent social hierarchy and trends of this 'living room' mafia. I honestly do not believe I will be lynched today. If I am not lynched today, town has a small victory.

Could you guys post in a readable way?

You have a lot of nerve.

I freaking agreed with her dude.  I also told Tommy I thought it was best to leave her alone for now, but I'm not outright telling him to stop questioning her, now am I?

Checking in.

As an aside, rule no 14 is meh. I don't remember a single game where I had more posts than the mod :ph34r:

Go rule 14 yourself

(Seriously, I hope you are a wee bit moar active this game Pray, you've had some awesome instincts lately as town)

Well, I answered this in the deadthread in Spaceballs game.

One of the reasons I think I get good reads is that I read the entire D1 game in  one go and not in real time. It is usually 2 days before I start reading the game and a good sitting gets me the reads. That is usually why I am kind of inactive D1 but pickup the game proportionally D2 onwards. When I start playing real-time, I start to tinfoil and blunder  :)

Of course, one disadvantage is that it is hard for me to convince people but I guess that is part of the game.

I can see this and I think this also supports why rereads can be so invaluable, and shows why people like Csarmi and Tommy spamming the living hell out of threads can actually be pretty antitown

Dude, if you soft claim that PR any harder you're gonna give Des a stroke.

Whenever people PR hint that hard I actually assume they might be trying to draw a NK

Subtlety it is not

If he actually IS a PR and gets shot he should feel like crap for eternity

Wombat I'm more mixed on you than anything. But while I can see a lot of the same things you have seen on players like Salami, I also think it's silly you fell into the same semantics trap

Defending someone doesn't automatically make you scum or questionable. If you think you had good reason to defend them, fine. Just don't say it wasn't defense when it was.

I don't think it's that bad. Also thought I was being more subtle about it.
