Yes, but that's not really game related is it?

 

Basically I could see Clov's stance coming from an obstinate townie who doesn't buy what you're selling, which is kind of where I'm at.  I could also see it coming from scum who doesn't want to change reads.  Thing is, it's drawing plenty of negative attention from you and yet, he keeps doing it.  That seems more genuine to me.  Then again, one of the main reasons you started going after him was his backtrack on Leelou, so that could be calculated too.

 

I think Clov is probably not a good candidate atm, but if enough of my town reads go there, I'd probably have to follow.

I get the sense Clov is handling me like he does when we're scumbros -- he pecks at me and pretends I'm an idiot. I think he's setting up anti spew to link me to him if he flips scum. I do not believe that he doesn't factor in the reads of fellow players at all. This is not a game of robots yet he's pretending it is and ignoring the human element. I do not believe he acts so incredibly obstinate with me instead of just saying "okay I see your point Tom" after its clear I believe in what I'm saying.

Then you're likely gonna be wrong on at least 2/3. Try pushing players that aren't typically wolfy villagers. Do you have any "hidden wolf" leans? Players not in the spotlight?

I can see where you're coming from there, but Salami has played an atrociously scummy game. and that might be enough to lock Clov in unless you can give him something more substantial than meta.  IIRC, he's said he doesn't really trust you this game.

I can see where you're coming from there, but Salami has played an atrociously scummy game. and that might be enough to lock Clov in unless you can give him something more substantial than meta.  IIRC, he's said he doesn't really trust you this game.

 

I actually had Tom as very high town from early on based on the way he approached Csarmi and me regarding Leelou.  When Csarmi voted for her and said I made a good point - when I really hadn't said anything that could be considered a good point at all - Tom asked him what point I had made.  He came back to me and asked for specific examples after I dodged his initial probing. The only scum motivation I could could up with for him doing that would be is if I was completely off base and he wanted to help me push that lynch but couldn't do so without knowing what angle to take.

 

The strength of the read has decreased some as the game went on because it seemed like he was immediately disregarding everything I said.  Doing so would make sense if he thought I was surefire scum, but then why waste his time asking?
