You asked me for my thoughts on one specific player.  I gave them.  You then pointed out why you think I'm absolutely wrong and made it seem ridiculous I could be townreading him.  I point out why I think you're wrong.  So you have absolutely NO grounds to stand on by saying I'm focusing on one player OR that it's unimportant.

Mm. I'm no proclaimed expert at reading Clov but I have cleared him a few times in our short period together when we were both villagers, and I think he did likewise with me.

I see the merits of Nyn's points, but I also don't think ~bad gambits are always scummy gambits. And I did mention that he did something similar with TG in the last round we played together where he was villa.

well to be quite honest, it's like swimming with the river's current. I sit and see that all there is to be held and tasted is summer salt lapping at the belt. A coral reef, where the show is funneled and beholden as a gift, and for its sake i must be in equal parts modest and content that I am just a participant. Neither active cog or dissinterested party.

You don't see how Wombat assuming Thane is scum in his early posting to FOS other players and then voting Sili to maintain him as top wagon over Thane and never really discussing Thane again makes them likely scum partners? He literally said Thane was off, sponging you in the process, then said he didn't like how Salami and I handled him and therefore ignored him. He simultaneously found Thane scummy and found Salami and I scummy for finding Thane scummy. How is that normal townie reasoning?

But it's just a reference to A GAMBIT he did before. No one was questioning him doing gambits before. With TG he had reference of a game with him before where he did X. And in another game he wanted to see if he would react the same or be opportunistic and try to mislynch the newbie. This has nothing to do with what he claims to have done here. He had no reference or experience with Leelou which makes this whole thing smell funny. And I don't see how this other game gambit says much of anything. It's moot to me.

I'll just answer. While I'm afraid that as Despot pointed out Csarmi could be trying to force his meta, I'm not sure I want to believe that yet. I strongly associate emotional outbursts/rage quits from him to align with his town game. I even subbed in for him in the House Mafia game after he quit and he was villa there. I'm not going to lock him in over it, but for now I'm content to leave him as a soft green and see how he plays when he comes back.

First of all, I think you're twisting shit all over the place.

 

Second, the easy explanation there for Wombat being town is that he just had a higher scum read on Sili. And actually Sili's recent posts don't look NEARLY as good as they did before so he could be right there

I was going to ask.  I assumed you'd be null on him due to your tinfoiling, but this makes sense.  If he had handled the pressure more rationally, would you be reading him the same way?
