Well, that was to be expected. I didn't see Thane's play similar to the game where he was scum, as i explained it here.

 

Last I saw before I went to sleep, Thane and Hally were the competing trains. I am quite convinced Hally is scum here - her reaction to my calling scum on her, bordering on OMGUS and the focus away from her lynch does reinforce my opinion.

 

Looking back, this is the point where the focus shifted away from her. At this point, it was 4-3 with Thane leading and Hally starting to get some heat.

All in all, Halli has quite a few logic fails and there are a couple of things she did I think are scummy. But she did improve later on with her reread and I feel like she's been a lot more open about her thought process so I can follow her train of thought better, even if I don't necessarily agree with her.

I was berated throughout the day for not voting for Thane -- I decided to consolidate because several of my town reads were convinced he was scum, he was doing little to defend himself, and in the eleventh hour Hallia said something that lessened my desire to kill her. I don't know if you could skim and spin these events any harder, but it's total crap to declare us scum for consolidating on an entire-day-long consensus scum suspect.

I have given you the benefit of doubt when it matters and pointed out suspect moves when it happens. It is just the train building so quickly during the end of day that and Thane's flip that makes me look back as to what happened. I might not have read the game completely but I can do wagonomics, no?

 

Who do you think looks suspect on the wagon? What did you think of my comments about Nyn vote shifting the focus towards Thane train?

I'm just tired of the instant 180's after lynch scenes like AJ in the Spaceballs game when he declared me a lock wolf at EOD2 for ~no reason other than he was confused. The loss of logic and mass hysteria makes it super easy for wolves to say "yeah! That guy everyone had as town yesterday probably IS scum after all!" and the more correct a villager is the wolfier he gets in the public eye. It's kinda funny, but mostly just makes villaging on DM a chore.

I took extra care to ISO both thoroughly. He just looked worse than her, while her posts improved. It's as simple as that. The fact that you're not giving me props for my line of thought is ridiculous. But sure, focus on the outcome to throw dirt my way. After all townies NEVER get it wrong.

I still think Nyn is >rand town. She sees a lot of the same things I do and she's got chutzpah. The problem with someone becoming a consensus scum suspect early is that it's obscenely easy for players to hop on without much contribution -- the flop vote. The people on the wagon that I don't recall pushing Thane are Sili, Yates and Leelou -- but I think I would pull a Yates and look off the wagon. SP/verb/Hallia/you/Alanna will have 2-3 scum in it a lot of the time. Des might even be scum for making hard associations based on Thane being scum and then dropping that idea at EOD. That's extremely out of character for him.

And it's hilarious that Pral claims the train was building so quickly at the end of the day. Both Thane's and Halli's trains were dragging till we were getting closer to deadline and had to consolidate on one of them. I cast my vote 6 hours before deadline, when it was well past midnight for me and I was expecting to go to bed soon. Its true that I couldn't sleep later on and ended up checking in here and there. But the fact of the matter is that Pral is convoluting the happenings here when he didn't even bother to be around himself. It's ridiculous.

 

He's not looking at the game with objectiveness. He's making events fit his narrative so from far away it looks all neat and nice. Take a closer look and you'll see what I mean. I refuse to believe he'd derp this much as town. Not buying it.

Apathy slowly took over. There was some pressure to avoid a CFD. The viable options were SP and Hallia and SP never showed up and people lost interest in lynching Hallia. Des tried to CFD AJ but that was never a good idea. So basically: nobody felt strongly enough to really push anyone else. My town leans were all posting until EOD but nothing new happened. So: apathy.

Clearly, I am not just looking it from the wagonomics perspective. It is a combination of what I felt while reading the game and adding those to the what happened during the D1 lynch. If it was just a matter of getting it wrong, then it isn't an issue. Like there were many more in the Thane wagon who I am town reading well.

Later she unvotes and votes Pral. Pral does seem off. And he's being a bit more inactive than he usually is, which I'm not sure how to interpret. But he is on my null to scum list so I don't have any particular problem with this vote.

 

Really? I have 27 posts this game, which is probably a D1 record for me compared to any game. If anything, I am most active in this game on D1 than others. Twisting it to say that I am inactive is pure misrepping.
