I'm not convinced that Vos is scum but I've liked Slendy's thread presence so I could sheep. Even if only to prevent Arsis from being lynched because I'm much more convinced that Arsis is Town than Vos.

I'm fairly confident in my Des Town read. I don't think I have disagreed with Slendy even once. If he is scum, my heart will be broken.

Also worth pointing out that Slender had a Town read on me from step one so self-preservation was likely a factor in choosing him specifically [and why I would NOT have killed him]. I realize that's a bit wifomy but take it for what it's worth since I don't think Slendy ever hinted at being cop.

 

THink #58 by Yates (the post where he Votes Tommy for talking about Rolenames) is >rand to come from Town. The only point I'd see for Scum to fake connecting-the-dots like that is if they had reason to assume the lineup would Townread them for it.

Well Yates' bit about bizarro-logic is one I've used BUT WHICH HAS FAILED IN SEVERAL ROUNDS IN A ROW so that's understandable imo but not great.

 

Tommy's progression on Pral seemed pretty good D1, the posts also caught my attention Tom just got to be vocal about it first. But Tommy apparently not wanting to see Pral really flip does give me some tinfoils.

I know what you were accusing me of, Arsis. My point is that I wasn't just "talking him up" to make myself look Town. I've been calling him my strongest Town read since D1, he's been calling ME Town since D1, and I think the evidence suggests that I'm on the level.

 

Frankly, one part of my meta that Darthe got right is that as Town I don't care about LOOKING Town, I just BE Town. I'm pretty sure I pointed this out to Tommy [and whoever else was alive at the time] when my slot was mislynched in Woodstock. At this point, I think my play is pretty clearly Town.

The answer to the question in bold is in bold below.

It isn't about if they think you are Town or not - it's about how they achieved that read. Hiding behind a "Town leader" is easy as cake. Faking the reasons for hiding behind said slot is much more difficult.

The problem is that I haven't figured out a good way of finding out who those people were. I'm simply not going to reread 189 pages looking for it.

It seems like you're pushing tommy as not being town and the people for not clearing him for a reason. When asked to explain either stance it's a lot of hostility and excuses. You seem to be harping on a case for a few days now. How about you slow down and actually make the case?

Yates I'm tired of the song and dance. Either I'm scum and you push me or I'm town and you stop. You saying "you've been scumhunting but not being pro-town so you might be third party!" nonsense is a total copout for taking a stance on me. At best you're being results-oriented about the lynches.
