I'd like to know what is unsufferable about being vocal about my reasoning and making sense? Me not immediately believing you is not being a douche, it's being thorough and skeptical of someone whose play still leaves lingering doubts.

I also don't believe that Town!Des and Town!Arsis would both be SO PUT OUT by me stating my opinions that they'd basically ragequit the game.

I think I've been reasonable; heavy-handed but still reasonable.

 

Scum tends to ragequit more than town (except for Salami). So color me skeptical of that behavior. Hallia is right that I'm not even being particularly douchey, I'm just being aggressive because this is a game about lying and exposing liars. I'm not gonna hold your hand and tell you how well you're playing if you're not.

And you guys have both played multiple games with me, especially Des. So I'm not sure I believe this "oh you're so MEAN TO ME!" nonsense.

WHAT exactly is so offensive about me that you feel compelled to quit the game? You make snarky comments to players and continually belittle them yourself. You did it in Avengers, you did it in the game we played together before that. You're one of the most abrasive players on this site. So I find it hard to believe you can't handle watching me tackle Des.

And by "tackle" Des I mean "continue to explore my suspicions of him by creating additional dialogue which explains why I have lingering doubt in the hopes he can somehow assuage me" and apparently he can't handle that and expects me to just ignore him for the rest of the game or something? Wat? That's not how the game works.

If I'm an admittly abrasive player shouldn't you flinch when I say you're the most abrasive person I've ever met in my life? I purposefully do it as a joke. At first I was going to take lessons from you in how to be abrasive but even I'm not willing to go that far for a joke. The person is usually in the joke with me. With you? No, it's not a joke. It's usually in good fun with me. 8/10 I get a pm afterwards laughing about it.

What are you even talking about? What would I be joking about? I think Des could be scum... I think you could be scum... especially for using emotional demoralization which is a scum tactic. So how is that offensive exactly? Even if I was wrong about you, I'd just be someone who was wrong, happens all the time, why is that offensive?

And no, I am not trying to get people riled up for the enjoyment of harassing you. If I'm attacking you, it's because I think you have scum potential and I'm trying to discern your role by applying pressure to you. Which is, again, the entire point of this game.

Yates and I are both out of town this weekend - for different reasons, pretty sure. Otherwise would be weird if he was here for my husband's birthday O.o

 

I wasn't included in the role PM off the bat, was just added last night while I was asleep, so I'm trying to catch up on mobile atm.

After just playing two games with him, I don't see why Arsis is subbing out as town. This isn't any different than Tommy in Avengers, imo.

 

Don't like Hally's backing Tommy up, because f anyone in the game, Tommy doesn't need it, imo. Also, he didn't seem like he was in any danger at the time, so why?

 

Also, three days makes sense for roles bc that's how long Woodstock was.

I kinda wish I would have rolled scum now, JUST to post a popcorn gif. I wonder what people would've done if I did that. 

 

I dunno, might be a lot of people lurking, both as scum and as "oh no I'm not touching that with a stick"-town. Don't blame them. This is just plain silly guys. Especially (and this goes for ALOT of players here) the refusal to listen to criticism of your play.

 

So just... chill out. 

 

Gameplay related: I'm extremely curious of Hally this game. But, not to PR-fish, but I think I figured it out: Hally is role: dog and Tommy is role: owner?

Hallia could be scum but I'm not sure why she sticks her neck out to back me up and then tells Des it's a good thing she got him to stop attacking me. I don't think it's to scum' advantage to break up our fight. The way Des got so flustered with Hallia soft claiming tells me they aren't scum/scum and it's possible neither one is.

 

So I think Hallia is town and I would guess she has a similar "negative utility" description to her ability like mine does and that's why she backed me up.

 

Either way let's not speculate about it right now.
