Ill tell you my current powers since im Banner atm. ATM I protect a random person each night unless im targeted for a kill. The other Banner power I have is switching back, where if I dont vote for an entire phase then I return to being banner. Then theres the switch that turns me into Hulk and then theres the Hulk powers which arnt incredibly pleasant for anyone involved.

If im in Hulk mode, the only way to change back is for me to not vote that day. So long as I dont vote I turn back into Banner giving me access to Banners abilities and denying my access to Hulks.

The fact that you keep avoiding the Rags issue tells me you know something you're not telling me.

Ok I've been thinking about this more and the thing that keeps bugging me is Lenlo/anyone couldn't effect my kill on Rags.

He's supposed to be protected and blocked. I mean literally here is the description of my power, emphasis mine.

 

 

Power Role:       Interrogation – At night, choose one player to interrogate.  They will be untargetable until the next night phase, they cannot use any of their powers, cannot post or vote.  They can only communicate with you directly on a special Interrogation Room Quick Topic.  They will know who you are.  At the end of the following day phase, you may choose to release them or kill them.    I will create each QT for each separate Interrogation.

 

Unless the bolded sentence means they ARE targetable the night I'm suppose to choose or release which I kind of doubt.

That leaves one explanation here imo and one I think is likely.

 

Rags lied about his second ability.

Take a look and compare Des and Rags claims.

 

Let's look at what Des says first.

 

Not showing the other ability ever because it could completely neutralize it, and I might as well be dead anyways if it's revealed.

 

I WILL say this tho- it is a lynch leading ability, and it could be instrumental in helping town actually win.

 

I hold the key to defeating Ultron.

 

Makes sense if you know canon since Hank created Ultron, and is also the only one who can destroy it later. And from conversation I've had with Mynd, apparently it's one of the few ways Ultron can actually be killed this game.

Not showing the ability doesn't neutralize it. If scum avoid the train it becomes pretty obvious.

If they stay on the train they get Nilla'd. It's kind of like a cool cop ability albeit more ambiguous.

 

Furthermore while taking away the powers of the mafia would help it's not exactly what I would call an instrumental power to helping town win.

The key to defeating Ultron? Hardly. I did Ultron AND Loki. On the same night (queue Hallia with my chickens & cows of the brown variety plz).

 

Makes sense? Well ok I don't know much about the back story of Ultron but for the sake of game balance I'm going to disagree with you here, especially since it was speculation.

Last point here: Mynd had conversations with you about how difficult it would be to kill Ultron? He outright said that turning him vanilla is "one of the few ways Ultron can actually be killed this game"? I have a really hard time believing that Mynd would put the integrity of his game at stake to tell you things that should have been PAFO'd by even the newbiest of mods. Not buying it.

 

Moving on.

So Rags comes in after Des is out and claims his ability is NillaMorph.

Nilla (Vanilla) is a gaming term commonly used in mafia. So what's it doing as the name of a heroic power?

I dunno but doesn't it seem strange to anyone else? Bio Engineering seems legit (and indeed we've seen it in action) but NillaMorph doesn't fit the flavor of the game at all.

Look at your PM's and ask yourselves whether NillaMorph could be one of your powers.

 

No...Des/Rags power was some kind of kill prevention.

Probably passive, so basically a BPV.

Nothing else makes sense. Look at the way Des was voting, do you remember him vying for lynch lead?

No. Because he made up a story and Rags came in later and filled the blanks.

 

My only question now is what the conditions on this were.

Is it a one time thing or is it activated by doing certain things in the game like the umad bro power.

Either way I'm sure that NillaMorph is not Rags real ability.
