I'm rigid and mechanical? I agree that I'm distrustful. But I don't think I have gone beyond that. In my last two good games, I think I've evolved beyond that and less rigid. And the fact that I'm friendly does not in anyway mean that I'm trustful

I had a sense that X wasn't posting "like himself."

 

It could just be my own paranoia or perhaps his writing style did shift a little or perhaps I'm imagining it altogether.

Yes. There's little to no slang or local vernacular in your writing and you haven't adopted the phonetic habits of other players and I find that interesting but what I'm really getting at is when I see you being jokey and whimsical in combination with more... slang-like posting... it looked like an attempt to buddy or be overly friendly, but it's so obscure that I didn't intend to make a big deal of it, I was just thinking aloud.

 

If it makes you feel any better your responses to me sound more like typical you.

Ah ok. My bad. The more formal writing which I decided to adopt is because someone recently told me that my writing is to casual and informal. So, that's why. 

 

And I'm glad, I sound normal now.

 

If anything, your writing is very formal-like.(And that's a compliment). I honestly didn't expect people to be using words like colloquialisms. So grown-up
