Yep. Killing two anti-Town roles in a single day phase is pretty much the definition of what I need to be doing to play to my win condition.

 

I'm hoping we can talk some sense into AJ. Barring that, Dawn and her partner still need to die. A mislynch today and one or two Town night deaths skews the numbers in scum/3rd party's favor. I'm against that.

 

 

 

 

1 - Nifty. What, all the town roles are out in the open now? I visited Rand and I can confirm he is Hero aligned. It also means that unless there are TWO cops in this game, the read on Dawn came from something else, not a cop, just to make that clear. 

 

2 - The win condition is to "eliminate all threats to Heroes are neutralized". Our first goal should be to neutralize the biggest threats to town, which is scum able to kill. And possibly a specific one if we go by Tommys mysterious PM. 

 

I'm happy to lynch Dawn if we can't get a consensus on anyone else today. But if we can skew scums number that should be prioritized over eliminating 3rd party.

1. Unlimited recruiting role, but only in dawn?  Doubt Dawn made up the dawn phase modifier, seems like something that is a good role restriction for Mynd to put in to avoid alignment changes to already cleared people, but I doubt that Dawn has been in a game where that kind of modifier has been used.  Don't think that is something she would think of.  Also makes sense for a reason for Mynd to create a Dawn phase.

I'm not going to assume Dawn is being 100% honest. If I were an outted recruiter I'd claim my ability is 1X. The time of day has nothing to do with it. She could be telling the truth about EVERYTHING [time of day included] in her PM except for the number of recruits. This is my point.

 

2. Does anyone else have 3 roles?

Again, I'm not assuming Dawn is being 100% honest. Maybe she was being truthful when she claimed she could only recruit once but she's NOT being truthful about the venom part or what the venom does. I'm just throwing that out there as something you have to consider - or at least something that *I* am considering.

 

3. That is also really stupid.  Investigative roles can be foiled, misdirected, and changed depending on mafia roles.  Having informative lynches on the other hand is never a bad thing.

Who said anything about information being a bad thing? ALL information is good - even redirected roles since that helps inform the player base of potential scum roles we are working with. My point is that the "information lynch" is limited in value when you have known RELIABLE information at your disposal that you could be using instead.

 

4. There are almost assuredly 2 people on that team.  There is no way that they have anywhere close to a majority right now.  So once again, we hold off on their lynch until absolutely necessary, and it'd be even better if a vig kills them.

What's the difference between lynching Dawn and vigging X vs lynching X and vigging Dawn? Also, why are you assuming we have a vig shot?

Yeah? And? My point was that she claimed she wasn't around for the night phase and thus we can't verify her claimed night action. This leaves open all the speculation I have noted above since it isn't vettable today. BUT she claims she *was* around for the "Dawn phase" and that she recruited during that time period but - even though she claims to want to help the Town - she is unwilling to tell us who her new partner is. So, again, she is unvettable.

 

Really, the only thing that gives me pause is the whole AJ being ant-Town thing. With AJ being first on the wagon I have to consider the possibility that he NEEDS to be first on the Dawn wagon in order to prevent her lynch. So that has me thinking maybe AJ is the better lynch choice, now, and that we can vig from a pool tonight. The reason I say vig from a pool is specifically because of the potential for blocking and redirection that you claim makes our investigative powers so weak. If you are going to rely on the vig to shoot Dawn, I'm imagining a redirection onto a lock-clear so SCUM get 2 for 1 instead of Town.

 

1.  I think you missed my point here as well.  If you're only recruiting in dawn, first of all, no more recruits from now on, so that means this is not growing.  Secondly, I don't know why Mynd would put multiple recruits in just the dawn phase, but even if he did, its definitely not unlimited.

We can kinda clear two townies at this point, me and Vos, by this.  I watched myself cuz I knew I looked kinda scummy and knew that some town role would probably check me if possible.  Vos being a cop makes sense.
