Honestly this is my favorite part of the game

 

Cause I know Mafia start sporadically checking into their QT

 

And one of them will say "Cory needs to die ASAP"

 

And to you, my timid and correctly afraid wolfy friend, I say

I feed on fear, I don't play nice with the Mafia so they'll "keep me alive longer"

I am public enemy no. 1 with a huge target on my back and I will never play any other way

You're partially correct.....but I'm more jokey/spammy D1, not laying low. My activity is on par with everybody else, just more spammy.

I fully understand that you both are going to pass this off as joking/messing around since it's early on D1, but I really hate posts like this.  It's like the post Nyn and Cory highlighted earlier by Thane where he refused to say he was town (and referenced Lenlo's scumclaim in Real Genius as a similar example).  "Would I telegraph something like this if I were scum?"

 

Far too often scum makes a "joke" post like this, and then everybody is shocked when it comes true.  Best case scenario, you give scum a target for a kill that they can try to blame on somebody else.

 

 

It's far too early in a game for me to get serious, I like to play around some and get cranky when it gets serious too fast.

Mafia is 75% faking enough confidence and swagger for people to listen to you when it matters - even if at the cost of ignoring that terrifying voice in your head that says you might be wrong

 

We all might be wrong but I have a decent enough track record and I'm never going to be afraid of being wrong

 

 

the other 25% is gifs

The game that me, Des, AJ and Clov played on VS one of the players there tunneled the hell out of me Day 1 and did nothing else

 

After I got NKed N1 (ldo) he sent me a message saying he knew I was town and tried to make me look bad so I wouldn't get NKed

 

I can't be saved, guys

 

When the worst relents,

You learn to live on less

So somebody tried to keep you alive with tunneling D1, and it still didn't work? Ouch, lol.

Understood. And agreed. I'd say my track record over the years shows I'm more often right than wrong. So I get where you're coming from.

I was vanilla town and I think it's better for me to die there than like the cop or something

TRW was the first game in awhile I didn't get NKed N1, champs game included. I just sort of die. I'm fine with it.
