I gave a pretty decent effort this whole game, I still have like 250+ more game relevant posts than any other player, and I've tried to make my thought process as obvious as possible

People are suspicious because I haven't been right, from what I see. I guess I'm elevated to #Tommy level but Tommy is legit a better player than I am so shrug as to what I'm supposed to pull out of a hat here

 

Verb argued about AJ Day 1, I elaborated and I still think I was right

 

You and me argued about Thane for awhile, I was right. We also argued about Leelou - I was also right, even though I doubted myself later - so whatever #stillGOATtownreads

 

I think Verb is arguing I flipped on Tina but he quoted a post where I was mentioning Leelou's reads from my notepad in case of a Leelou scum flip. Tina hasn't been great since early Day 1 and I might have been thrown off by her quoting things

 

I wanted to clear her later for continuing to recklessly come after me but at this point I've started to realize I have actually been a mislynch candidate this game to Mafia so that's out the window

 

My mafia leans (Hallia, Leelou around Day 2) have been wrong - sigh shrug tears I'll get over it

I have always been playing for my wincon. Town will lynch me because #YOLO but it's just going to be another phase where the Mafia gets away scot-free, that's town's decision

I am considering a decent villager elsewhere because I can make myself transparent enough to A) gather a following to lead B) display sincerity in tone and C) clearly display my thought process

 

You can say I'm a bad villager for playing this way, but I have had a very good deal of success when I don't get distracted by LoganAuras

Cory a lot more points have been brought against you besides you being wrong. You oversimplifying points against you is yet another mark against you.

 

As for AtE not being a 100% reliable scumtell, yeah no doy. Funny thing tho- a 100% reliable universal scumtell pretty much DOESN'T EXIST. In my book, YES, AtE is a scumtell. Because scum often know that trying to use logic or reason won't help them out that much if their actions have been objectively scummy, so instead they defend themselves by turning the thread into cancer. Dropping AtE all over the place does exactly that- it creates a pile of wifom instead of a back and forth of logical, coherent arguments.

 

Lastly Cory, just answer this: do you care if you're lynched or not?

Show me those points and I'll debate them, but most of it was that I was super open with my reads Day 1 (don't really know how to defend myself), that I have been "too emotional' this game (yup sure welcome to me), and that I haven't been right

Day 1 I got mad at you about the Thane thing and you sniping me (because as Mafia I would clearly blow up @ you for voting a townread I put a lot of effort - including reading two other Day 1s he's had - into reading because he's certified lynchbait it most games) which is funny now that Thane is basically confirmed town and that my Day 1 townreads were, as usual, really good unless I'm somehow wrong on AJ

 

I'd prefer not to be lynched, but the points for lynching me are ethereal fake meta (this is how cory acts as a wolf!) stuff. I really don't know how to debate that, most of the "casing" done on me is hot air.

 

If you could point out something I have done that is actually wolfy that would be awesome.

Pral, for example, basically just lied about my meta, using Real Genius as an example, at the beginning of this phase.

I was totally in control of Real Genius and I had super confident fake wolfreads and all that garbage but he GOATshot me. There really can't be a more dissimilar game for me than Real Genius, it was pretty lol for him to bring it up in the first place

(And then he used Twilight as an example of my WIM town game, where I died N1 before I really ever did anything but lead a lynch on villager Jack_D)

Why would notscum!Cory use the "I'm always emo" defense so much, instead of just GOATing out instead of emoing for a while? Seriously tho, you really have been emo most of the game.

 

I'd also bring up your claim and how you've acted about it. Like I said, you went from "RAGE! Thunderdome with me and Des!!!" to "jking" to "DON'T LYNCH ME I'M ARTHUR DENT!!!" to "meh, lynch away" to "if you lynch me, town has 0% chance of winning" back to "meh, lynch away". It seems you've just gone emo or meh according to the situation, seems like you've just been hiding behind emo and your character claim FAR too much this game

As for Tina, I read her town Day 1 but since she's done a concrete mix of things and I am not confident in her either way. Sometimes she does something villagery and I want to clear her again (her being combatative with me D2 is usually a good sign for someone's alignment) but she's also been nowhere near as open as she usually as is town

 

Which really bothers me because I can usually read her pretty confidently but barring a few things she's been super slippery for me since after she stopped doing Marvin quotes

 

You said she was likely town on D2.  I don't see anything in your D2 posts to suggest you were starting to move her from your town pile, which you've had her in since early D1.  Like, really early on D1.

I have five days off work and of course I got a cold and a sore throat. Some people can´t eat when they are sick but I get so hungry. I have laid in bed dreaming about steak and bbq sauce, pizza and Ben&Jerry´s Strawberry Cheesecake Icecream. The only thing I found in my fridge (that took less than five minutes to cook) was a pizza slice. When I took it out of the microwave I dropped it. Luckily it ended up on the plate but the filling ended up under the pizza. Sigh. I´m still hungry. Yes, you should feel sorry for me. :D Luckily I had a good book to read but now I have finished it. Sigh.

Didn't like this "general impressions" post from AJ since it echoed what he thought my thoughts were about Pray... looked like him trying to buddy my reads. This is supported with his final note about hearing what I have to say about Clovfish. Also associative based on his quick read of Cory, and kinda fence-sitting read on BFG, two people who I find very likely to be scum at this point.

AJ is the type of player I think I can read very quickly when he's a villager. We have similar thought process and he has intent to rock the boat IMO - I think he will get more obvious to you all as the game goes on but I've already seen enough

 

Thane I have only seen as Mafia and he seems more relaxed

 

BFG a couple of things, but I really liked her conversation with AJ

 

 

Extremely vague reasoning after being asked to preach on his reads by Clov.

 

Leelou seem interested in figuring things out, which is something I didn't see at all in her scum game - she was more reactionary

Tina being willing to draw potentially negative attention to herself early is her biggest towntell imo, she's another player I think I can read very well. I misread her in.... Mass Effect? and took a little more time to look over her games awhile ago and I think I understand the way she thinks pretty well

 

And I still don't like this post. To me it looks like scum trying to backpedal and pretend they had more to say someone is town than they really had.

 

Up to this point, Leelou seriously was NOT interested in figuring things out, at least not from my perspective.

 

I also didn't see how Tina was willing to draw negative attention to herself early on.

 

Both of these statements of support for early town reads look trumped up imo.

 

In fact, I'd say that Tina prob has a good chance of being scum with Cory, mebbe even greater chance than AJ. My scum read of BFG is pretty much independant of Cory, but he had some early interaction with her that looked weird.
