Gonna dig back a bit to see if there's anything specific I want to respond to.

 

I don't think Pral has posted again since his last comment in response to me. Pral may just be on an unlucky streak and rolled scum again for like the 4th game in a row. I know he isn't generally active a ton, but it isn't the weekend (which is when he is usually gone) and I would expect him to at least address some other things going on the game besides only focusing on what I had said about him. Probably not going to get lynched today, but I think he's a good place to revisit very quickly if he doesn't pick it up and fast.

Nyn you've earned my due diligence (because ) and I read over Day of Arkham (the last game you were Mafia according to your list) and you were basically invisible that game

 

With that said, things are probably a little different for you with players like me in the game who try to drag out invisible players kicking and screaming :P

So, in your opinion, how do you think you would approach the game as Mafia with the sort of player's list we have now?

What makes you think I alter my style because of who's playing? Besides, I don't remember who were the players back in the Arkham game, but I'm sure they were equally competent to the ones in this game.

 

Generally speaking, In the times I rolled scum I tried to play as I do as town (not sure if I actually managed to, but that's what I was going for). I'm generally rather nervous and try to hide it.

 

I like rolling town better. I'm more comfortable in my own skin, so to speak.

This is the kind of thing that's making me very iffy on Hallia.  I've played two games with her, and she was by no means overly talkative D1, but this game she seems very content to say nothing game related and snipe at jokes/references.  If this were D1 (real life, not phase wise) I could see it since there wouldn't necessarily be much going on...but there's plenty to discuss now.  Comes across, to me, as she wants to be more memorable than she ought to.

 

I'll do an ISO to see if I'm understating her contributions but don't feel like I am.  And if somebody wants to remind me how to do a real ISO so I don't have to Ctrl + F this shitake mushroom, it'd be swell.

She mentioned or tried bringing attention to possible post restrictions multiple times. She immediately voted one of the people who she thought could have a PR (Tina) and is now voting another who she thought mebbe had a PR (Mish). She wasn't bringing it up over and over, but consider the fact that in her first roughly 35 posts, close to half or a third of her actual gameplay posts were about post restrictions. That's pretty insane. No misrep there.

Below is the sequence of Leelou's posts that mention PR prior to his case, then his vote and case.

 

Like I said, prior to Des's case Leelou had brought it up twice. At this stage it is most of the game related posts, but also at this stage there had been very little gameplay from anyone *shrug

 

 

Leelou, if you could shoot somebody based off their first post (and first post ONLY), who would you pick and why?

 

Thane - seemed too chipper or Des - jumped right in and declared someone won the thread already. It's a bit hard to say for sure though, because a few people either seem to be having too much fun with the theme or have a post restriction.

 

 

 

Tina loves Marvin, so I wouldn't put it past her to just be having some fun. If it continues for much longer, than I'd assume post restriction. I'd also look at Mish for a post restriction.

Very well could be town since she has a tendency to get huffy, but I'd actually like to hear from her before I move her.

Most of these reads look good, but can you explain your conclusions on the bolded stuff Leelou?

 

• Despot - I could see null, but I feel he's been pretty consistent with what I expect from him.  He doesn't like to be told he's wrong, and IMO, he takes it personal when people "get @ him".  Do you expect him to act differently, or are you just going on the content?
• Hallia - I don't see how she's gotten into the game at all.  The only exchange I remember with her is where she posted something about disagreeing, and some people (including me) were confused what she was replying to...and she didn't do a particularly great job of explaining.
• Verbal.  You said that you'd be able to have a strong read on him, so that checks out.  Where did it come from?

 

 

1. I wasn't really getting at him before he dug up his case on me, I referenced a personal issue because he dragged in a private personal conversation we had into the case on me. I find that uncalled for. It's the way he acts, so no wasn't expecting anything different, except to maybe keep the personal stuff that did not pertain to this game out of the game. I've admitted that I might not be the best to read him. 

2. Hallia as scum is just fluff. She was naming people town and went after who she saw was off, I know it doesn't seem much, but for Hallia it is a lot. 

3. Can't explain it. My thought process with him doesn't work normally. More I can typically read through his bullshit.

I would look back at Hallia and reread her post when she voted Mish over Dice - I'm pretty sure they both are generally being accused of the same thing as far as bandwagoning onto Leelou.

 

Dice trains looks okay at best. I think Nyn is probably town, not very sure on RTE (permascum read), I'm feeling better about Despo but I really don't know about Fishdyx yet. I like the logic behind his cases but after reading Cory's meta assessment it sounds like he'll case similarly as either alignment, so null.

 

People need to start voting and getting things on record.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Pray is scum and hiding out. Thane seems to be leaning heavily at Dice being scum but hasn't voted him yet, that's not really a good sign imo. BFG I'm kind of wary of just because I've been burned a lot recently - I'm not really following a lot of what she's been posting either and the way she started the game was kind of strange and unusual for her. I really have no idea where she is leaning as far as reads go. Verb I'm hesitant of atm as well, he could just be slow playing his vote today which I don't really mind but he's definitely on my watch list for his general agreeable attitude.
