I haven't seen Amega in this thread for a long time, seems to have basically stopped playing despite being active in the Disney game.

I haven't understood Darthe - amount of time incalculable.

I am bothered by how different you're playing here as opposed to Red Wedding. It's not a little bit different. It's a 180 different. You've gone from a lurky play to full blown loud play. I know that you said that you tend to change your style with every game. It's still a bit disconcerting to me. The last player I pointed out doing a 180 in play turned out being scum. So this makes me wary.

 

With that said, I do agree with tommy that most of the day you seemed like the obvious lynch. So right now I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and keep observing your play.

Okay, here's some reads. I've never tried ISOing on anything beside the desktop at my old house, so I hope this is easy on a borrowed iPad.

Zanube: needs to post more, didn't even check in till yesterday. Decided to look at Amega and Darthe in particular after finding them scummy. I was already suspicious of Amega, but leaning town on Darthe tentatively. He never did look at Darthe in depth. Wonder if maybe he was trying to get people to suspect Darthe without looking too bad if Darthe flipped town. His last post was blatant sheeping of what I had to say just one post before. Zanube, if you're going to try to get away with a sheep, don't do it so close to the post that you're plagiarizing from. It only makes it that much more obvious. That made me lean toward scum.

Clog dyx: has good points on Tommy clearing himself. Later votes Mish out of nowhere after not having really discussed her much, then calls her reads acceptable. Null. I could go either way here.

Tsuki: in post 478 gets my gender wrong. Twice. Votes Dawthe without providing much of a case, aside from "not having a good." but has some good analysis of Hally's Style.

Yates: derp.

Amega: overreacted badly in the post I quoted this morning. Leaning scum strongly.

 

Basil continue to push Amega, the "mislynch" of the day according to Pral.

The rest of his reads are garbage. Glad he has more of an opinion on Yates than, say, Darthe/Me/Tommy/etc

Pral: where is Pral? He has had two posts and only one of substance. He hasn't yet been replaced. That tells me he isn't any role of importance, most likely VT. Nothing that would break the game by giving him extra time to get active.

Mish: I think Tommy seemed to be trying to move some suspicion toward her. He glossed over having seen her as scum in the past, and also brought out the "discuss one person, vote another" line on her when that strikes me as misrepresentation.So I have a town read on her.

A quick read on Darthe. I think he is town. I can't find holes in his argument, and he owned up to his accidental misquoting of Mish rather than pushing the issue and continuing to misrepresent her, while I think scum would have done the latter.

If Darthe were scum, someone would call him out on an accidental misquoting if he tried to push it as a lynch reason. ohmygerd. This is not something alignment indicative.

The problem I have with statements like this is you don't specify what argument you're referring to and you are wiping a lot off the whiteboard by saying "he would continue to lie about Mish if he was scum so he's town." Nyn is right that correcting a blatantly wrong statement is null and would be terribly stupid for scum to push since it's flat out wrong and would make him look worse.

So you give Darthe a gold star for... literally one reason, and not even a good reason.

Still not going on a Basel train though.  He may look kinda bad at times but my really good meta on him (I've never messed up with him to this point in my mafia career) says he is town.  It's soulread, whatever that means.

 

More defense of Basel - all of this distraction happens, by the way, DURING ME AND TOMMY TRYING TO GET PRESSURE ON BASEL. This was relatively close to EOD.

 

IE Basel scumflip = we can solve the game based on this alone. No. 1 wagon of the day unless someone can legitimately convince me that he'd be this useless and empty as town.

A bit busy week at work this week. Should get better later this week but not before.

Anyway, just had a read of the entire thread. Here are my reads of players. Took longer than expected.

1. Zanube - has a couple more posts than me :) I am particularly interested that his two main scum reads are those with the largest trains currently. Agreed that he could be influenced by the opinions of others, but that definitely stands out. Null.

2. Clovdyx - Has been pretty good at scumhunting. Like posts like this and this where he is actively questioning and scumhunting. Leaning town.Town.

3. CrayLee (Kaylee/Cory): In my other post, I mentioned how I was slightly suspicious of Cory. Kaylee does not seem very straightforward in her posts. I am a bit iffy of the fact that she is sure of me being town (here and here) with just one post, especially in which I call Cory out as my top suspect (which she does not address btw). Her vote on Amega looked like a good jumping-on-the-train vote. Leaning scum

4. Tsuki - His "case" and vote on Darthe seemed forced and quite opportunistic. However, I agree with his point on Hallia and in general, his other reads somewhat matches with mine. Null read however.

5. Amega - I see him making an effort to put his thoughts down, similar to what I noticed in the last game I played with him. Haven't played with him enough to know his meta. He is usually an easy target because of his aggressive posting. And, I believe that is what is happening in this game. I can see scum pushing his train. Leaning town.

6. Yates - Milton, Vanilla Town - Modkilled D1

7. Leno - He is in his usual jokey + occasional analytical meta. Tough to get whether he is town or scum. Though he seems to have parked his vote on Amega, and playing a safe game. A very safe game. Leaning scum.

8. Dawthe (Darthe/Dawn) - I do not agree with Tommy here about emotional Darthe. Darthe in Twillight game showed a lot of frustration and had an emotional outburst with Cory. I feel he is usualy like that Day 1 and starts bringing his good game D3 onwards. Again, leaning town here.

9. Hallia - from his posts, she seems the usual Hally with low content on Day 1. Null read on her, but slightly town intuition wise.

10. Pral - Town, yes.

11. Nommy (Nyn/Tommy): I have not seen him as town yet, except for a game I modded. So, it is difficult to get a good read on him. Though I notice that when he is scum he picks on any small opportunity/slips he gets and drils down to trap a townie in the ensuing arguments. I am not seeing that aggressive Tommy here. It feels more like he is looking at various persons and getting his reads. Leaning town.

12. Mish - Slightly iffy on her with her nudges in this post and here. She usually does that a lot when she is scum but not seeing enough of that here. Null, but could be scum. INteresting she clears Len and Kaylee as town here who are my top 2 scum reads.

13. Basel - As I mentioned in my earlier post, think he is town because of his posting without abandon. It has not lessened even in his later posts.

Overall, I think Len, Craylee are scum - Tsuki/Zanube/Mish/Hallia null - Tommy, Darthe, Basel, Amega, Clov town.

This is all just NO GOOD.

 

Let's forget for a second that the majority of his reads hinge on an Amega!Town flip (and he was run up during Day 1, so this was possible).

He FoSes me, Lenlo and Mish - three people that all voted Amega.

He has a villager lean on Basel, who has the worst vote on Amega ITT.

Tommy and Nyn both agreed with both Mish and Kaylee on their casing of Amega. Pral has Tommy as a villager lean as well, using a wholly inaccurate Meta, as Pral has never even seen Tommy as a villager before IIRC.

Darthe's "emotional outburst" was him casing me for three pages. Yes, he was violently sarcastic and had the bedside manner of a hot poker, but he was trying to find out my alignment. Darthe's frustation this game A) came with pressure mounted on him early and B) served no purpose. I don't believe this meta read at all.

 

This doesn't add up at all.

 

If I had three shots, I would shoot Basel, Pral and Darthe in that order. This solve makes sense in about every single way.

I did the same thing in the last game when X was scumslipping all over the place. I tried to get out ahead of townies and bring up the things he had phrased poorly so they'd be weakened if someone else brought them up.

My reasoning on that Kaylee was mentioned earlier.  Does it not seem strange to you that Zan (with DES as a mentor)  is so quiet?  Des is normally one of the most vocal players there is.

Why would that increase Zanube's post rate, though?

 

Zanube just seems like a chronic inactive, Des can't do anything about that regardless of alignment.

Why do you think this alignment indicative for Tom?

For example, in the last game Tommy did the #teamalliance thing and was Mafia. Do you associate this with his town game?

 

Well it had a radical effect on you last game and i even hinted at it and you swept it under the rug.. Maybe you should distance your self and get a clean perspective to properly discern your bromance's alignments in future games.

 

Like you said though Tommy wants to be townspewed as both scum and mafia. Except in this game i haven't seen him going to deep in alliance mode.

Amega literally goes out of his way to taunt me in the first talking to Tommy, his scum partner from the last game. You translate that as "Oh yeah, you were good at getting lock clear because Cory crumbled to your playstyle" - I have not even spoken to Amega at this point in the game, but his first point of contention is to troll me using Tommy's play as reasoning. When I address him - you guessed it - the first thing he says to me is that I'm bad at reading Tommy and should distance myself from him.

Amega overreacts like crazy here despite having me as a villa lean. I did a MQ and FoSed the people trying to put distance between me and Tommy, a movement started by Amega and harped on by many others.

 

Stuff like this is why I can't clear him as a villager. He's said some derpy things, but the one thing he seems to get really frustrated by is any sort of negative attention on him despite his contributions to the game being null.

 

OMGUS isn't a scumtell, but these sorts of outbursts are scummy more often than not.

 

Amega remains a mixed, mixed bag.

Though, meta reads aside, I don't like the fact that he was not getting on the Clov train with an easy excuse that he doesn't trust Tommy. I don't think that all scum are on the Clov train. That leaves me, Basel, Amega and Zanube. From my perspective, Zanube is just inactive. Basel and Amega needs to be looked in the future.

Yeah, we have some uninterested and apathetic players - my frustration has been bleeding through.

 

But you have at least one player that is alive, can lead, and wants to win this game. Mish has been productive. Des will be productive. You can be productive. Hell, Lenlo is actually trying to make up for TRW - I can actually follow his thoughts this game!

 

If you are town I am pretty sure you are wrong about everything. Basel might be a poor townie but his stances don't add up this game.

 

Do you want to know what my biggest fear is? Me and AJ put out a mammoth effort in TRW and town let us down completely due to inactives/etc/whatever and we actually left instructions before our death that would have led to a town victory. I spent a huge chunk of time this game doing everything I can to help my alignment - honestly, if I die and people ignore me again I think I am just going to stop playing here. I can't really deal with that level of frustration and such underwhelming return for the amount of time I invest into solving the puzzle. And if town followed my reads and they were wrong and lost I could live with that - I have NEVER been afraid of being wrong, it's one of the reasons I'm considered a pretty okay player.

My biggest fear here is losing like the sixth game in a row.  Since you've known me I have been absolute dog shit.  I didn't get into the champs game like that, didn't get nominated for player of the year twice and certainly didn't get the respect I have previously held on this forum like that.  IDK WTF is going on on this end but I do not want to lose again and I trust nobody.  Honestly Cory?  I can't tell you where most of my reads are coming from.  Reading back they look like hell and so do I here.  I'm kind of lost and the only person I consistently like is you but I keep WIFOMing it.

I think Tsuki and ZanDes are both > rand to be town enough that they are out of my POE.

I agree on Tsuki.  I've went back and forth on him based on tone etc but yeah he is prob town.  Zanube has bothered me because we have so little.  Des, this late into things, has so much ammo on anyone that I am mentally preparing myself to go all out on him because otherwise we are late enough in that he can dominate this game and we don't have any built evidence to really stop him.  

 

I also get your len read but mish has had awful tone this game.  Internal consistency isn't hard for her to fake, especially when she doesn't have to say a lot.  

 

Amega has been clear almost all game so idk what you're seeing there.  Hally is a def weak link.  I'd rather lynch her than Basel by a lot.  And, I'll admit, my read on Basel has been mostly reinforced by having to argue his meta so much.  That creates bias and thus I am probably overstating how town he really looks to me at this point.  Laya I just don't see scummy. Idk, if you post well doesn't that mean you're playing well?  It doesn't make him town it just makes him someone I want to see tomorrow.

My biggest fear here is losing like the sixth game in a row.  Since you've known me I have been absolute dog shit.  I didn't get into the champs game like that, didn't get nominated for player of the year twice and certainly didn't get the respect I have previously held on this forum like that.  IDK WTF is going on on this end but I do not want to lose again and I trust nobody.  Honestly Cory?  I can't tell you where most of my reads are coming from.  Reading back they look like hell and so do I here.  I'm kind of lost and the only person I consistently like is you but I keep WIFOMing it.

imo id rather lynch Pral than Basel out of those two Cory. Basel feels like he has been trying harder than Pral and in general Prals posts are worse.

 

My number one pick is still Amega from D1 though. I plan on going back and getting that and adding to it later.

Lol.  Okay, I think I am going to start over.  The history of this game is rotten and plagued.  It is apathetic and is one person down, I was wrong on my reads and still haven't had time to properly reread the thread.  I'm going to do that if I can and until then this is the start of my clean slate.
