Lenlo keeps asking for the real him. It would take incredible odds that he got himself but it doesn't read exactly right to me.

I recommend everyone read up on the soup mechanic. Because of this mechanic it is very important for townies not to tip, hint at, or reveal their roles.. We should still stop before lynching someone to allow a last defense, but forcing a true roleclaim will be as good as killing a townie. And if the scum ever figure out all of our roles, they can end the game in one night. It is important that we very carefully consider our actions in this game as outing power roles is much, much more dangerous than usual. Traditional scumhunting will be vital.

Face value very good post. However that could be exactly what he was going for.

Jack, I applaud you for trying to jump start the game.

Obviously, if everyone voted themselves for the Panda, nobody would have a majority. So, I voiced my opinion on who I would most trust with it. Verb is an excellent town player. Of course, he's an excellent scum player, too, so there's the rub.

I know it is a WIFOM case. But, I was not just talking about D1. Even further when the double vote comes into play.

Oh jeez.

I'm pushing for it to keep it out of scum's hands. It isn't the most dangerous ability out there, but if is "for sale" and forgive me if I don't trust anybody else more than I trust myself to use it properly for the town.

And I disagree about D1 not being scrutinized. You've been away, but DM has moved away from that and into a more focused D1 than we've ever had. This is a good thing.

Look at it this way - if a townie gets the vote, they go into N1 with the biggest target on their back. The mafia know who got it - that is WIFOM right there. Do mafia shoot the townie? Is the townie protected by Doc? Will the mafia assume that and go Doc/Cop hunting with their shot?

So much to think about. I'm ok with the target on my back. Mafia won't want a townie alive with that ability.

I agree a normal townie would want it to themselves. However Lily's willingness to give it you have it unbeknownst to your alignment (assuming she's a townie) would be reckless. Lily isn't reckless.

I can tell it's changed. I'm happy for it. Most recent games I've been in town nailed scum day I age a lot can be learned and day 1 scum is most likely to make a slip.

And Lens comeback [to the whole "hunting-for-himself"-thing] with "No see this is one of those Light side v Dark side things going on. Hero fights his evil half to better understand himself you dig? Now I just gotta figure out which of us is the evil one >.>" is strange. Could it be you got yourself and decided to put on a show? Together with "What and play this game like its supposed to be? Pfft." Len is so far the most suspicious to me.

And Wombat: I feel hurt and sad you got away with your "weak"-vote (ref: other game) :biggrin:

Doc is a generic term. Like Jack uses "Finder" when it is usually called "Cop".

What voting format are you accepting? Can I just bold my vote?

For this first day at least I need them in red/blue for lynch/cosvote respectively to tell them apart. After today I might just accept bold, we'll see

I'm not around in the mornings, so late night works better for me.

If your a witch and don't get night killed then you have set up your lynch for the next day with the double vote. If your a townie. The witches would just keep you alive to push your lynch next day using your own logic. I'm not liking this play at all.
