I kinda am too.

However I'm going to Vote Leelou

 

If wombat was a witch. Which I believe he was that leaves us with one witch left. Leelou has been just active enough to stay under radar without contributing much. Going along with wombat basically all day has my eyebrows raised.

The whole no flips thing is making it harder for me to get a grasp on this game. There are a few known variables now, so I'm going to try to reread and see what I can gather from it.

On a more serious note, I think we are all pretty lost at this point. We either have to make some gross assumptions or carry on shooting "in the dark". Even though I'm feeling confident we got two down now - it's still a risky game scum hunting based on interactions from wombat.

 

I'm also glad our suicide bomber got used now rather than later, but on the flip side it negates our Wwwombat-role, which could have warned us if we were going down the wrong path and gotten us some confirmed flips. 

 

I know people have been crying gambits, scheming and role-riding alot here. I think that's where Wombat slipped, using it to distract town rather than help. When it all comes down to it, I still believe "good ol' fashioned" scum hunting will bring us to the witches, not trying to play gambits on scum.  

 

I'm pretty sick, busy and going away soon so I can't promise full attention rest of the week but I'm still around and will do my very best.

My instinctive reaction was that I don't think Verbal is a witch, since he was pushing the idea of Pral doing a gambit so hard. But then my brain kicks in and I wifom myself in circles again. Sigh.

 

And we only have one lynch to go on. I'm not counting Dawn's. God I'm lost.

We need to not let this peter out.  If you're going in circles looking at Verb, veer off that roundabout and peek at someone else!

She went along too easily with wombat and she's the only one I'm not getting any sort of townie vibe from.

Deadline is Saturday, so we need to collect ourselves and try to figure this out. Going back in for a more in depth reread.

Okay, so what we know of the dead: 

 

1. Pray - died Night 3 - appears to be a Mish save
2. Wombat - killed Day 3 - thought to be a witch
7. Dawn - lynched Day 2 - revealed as witch from failed soup kill on Pral 
9. Lenlo - lynched Day 1 - dead - alignment unknown 
10. Dice - died Day 3 - player 
13. Lily - Soupkilled Night 1 - dead townie

My money is on either Hallia, Alanna or Leelou. Gonna try to ISO them some time today and see where I place my vote. Will probably be absent tomorrow and saturday, sorry.

3. Verbal - getting an overall townie vibe, questioning trying to figure things out
4. Mish - getting a genuine feeling of her being lost right now
5. Jack - Jack seems to be  a tough read for me, I typically lean scum on him. After the interactions with wombat, who is believed to be a witch, I'm giving him more of a town lean right now. 
6. Leelou - me, town and was given the panda vote
8. Hallia - cryptic and quippy, not really adding much to scum hunting - slightly uneasy with her
11. Alanna - I am having a hard time reading her, the thing that has me the most uneasy was her having the same ideology as Wombat surrounding the Verbal role and no lynch scenario.  
12. Vos - seems to be genuinely giving reads and is engaged with the game. town lean

After looking over everything, I'm happy with my Alanna vote, but could change to Hallia.

Actually, no. I think Leelou is over final mafia. I've been skimming over parts of the game and it feels more and more right. Town Leelou is more vocal than this. The only one who really questioned my "I think the two remaining witches are senior players"-theory was Verbal, wich I see as more of a town move now. I named Jack and Verbal as my main suspects in that group, and if Wombat and Leelou are witches, it makes sense for them to not aknowledge it. Well Wombat subtly brushed it off, but rereading that now really made me feel uncmfortable. I've been fooled before by Wombat and Leelou buddying me as mafia, and both have been doing it subtly at different points of the game. Leelou has been quite happy sitting on the sidelines most of the game, generally just following others. I was attempted to be killed the night after I made my theory, wich can be an attempt to cast suspicioun on Jack and Verb.

So me ignoring your theory makes me scum? I'm trying to follow others because I have this double vote thing and I'm trying to do the right thing. I don't have the best grasp on this game with no flips. After rereading the thread though, Alanna and Hallia stand out the most to me, which I pointed out a few posts ago and am voting where I feel the most confidant right now.

With 7 alive, it takes 4 to hammer if all other votes have been cast. To "Hyperlynch" you must gather N-1 votes on someone, where N=the number of players surviving. So today that number would be 6.

I'm holding on to my vote for now, as I will (as stated) ISO all three of my "suspects". I agree with Jack and Mish though, on their points on Leelou. But what I feel most uncomfortable with concerning her is that she has been tagging along the whole game, staying in the background not doing anything, really. But as soon as Jack voted her, suddenly she is scum-hunting town extraordinaire. Reads like she was hoping to coast by even longer in the background, but as soon as she (probably last scum?) got some attention she suddenly had to react.

Jack's vote on me had absolutely nothing to do with me wanting to actually try to get a grasp on the game. And as I responded to Mish, I was trying to follow a bit because of the whole double vote thing. I don't have the best grasp so I don't really feel strong enough to lead. After actually reading through a bit, Alanna and Hallia have stood out the most. I'm feeling better about my vote on Alanna because Hallia isn't always the most outspoken of people in the game and makes it really hard to get a vibe one way or the other.
