You thought that because they claimed a Role?

You didn't even think to stop and consider any of their previous posts?

You were voting them before they claimed and so must have thought they were Mafia.

And then claim - boom - think their town.

Incase anyone missed it.

Ameg/Thane were the Mafia Jailkeeper

That's a role you'd want to keep alive.

And also a role that's normally Town.

I think that roleclaims won't count for toffee this game. CSarmi says focus on the Gameplay - I think he's right.

Verb, you think PFG is bussing us? If we are both mafia that would have to be the case.

It is a bit odd that pral has voted us when bfg had us as townish at last check IIRC.

If no one else wants to lynch straw hats today, how about crunk? It would save Cory from having to deal with us scrubs. And we gat rid of a Mafioso.

Perhaps. I also am not assuming only 1 anti-town faction. This is an experimental game, after all. Why so black & white?

Cuz they be scum.
We still.mafia? I don't see wifum on your latest list.

Yes, but I haven't had a chance to read through the thread after the flip. Will be doing that tonight.

I'll post some explanation on any roles that aren't directly in the mafia scum wiki. Getting to it now.

Chae did it already. Please note that Alien is a variation of the Jailkeeper role.

Also verb. What's your opinion on Cory?

Scumhunting hard.  Can't tell if genuine or fake yet, but that kind of thing shows itself over time, so I'm happy he's out there making reads and making plays.  I'd say null to town for now.

Cory's vocal not willing to lynch straw hats didn't catch your eye? Lolz

Corey might be a long term player.

He's just very shouty - although not so much when the pressure stayed on Ameg.

I notice that both of those votes came after I pointed out that the only ones to benefit from a no lynch are Mafia.

And Pral didn't want to give his read of Ameg before the flip came down.

Saw that.  Add in how BFG's summary posts have been, and I'm calling them scum.  PFG, Siblings, open slot.

Perhaps we can work together for a bit.  You're still one of my top picks for that open slot, but the other 2 are above, so I'm cool with greater focus there first.

Time for the more serious scumhunting.

I'll be watching team WiFum and Yolo... one of you is scum, but i haven't figured out which one.... tending more towards WiFum for the moment.

Need to see more of teams HaXorz, J-Tag and CRUNK to make up my mind about them... neutral for the moment.

i get a scummy vibe off of Release The Leno....

will be reading and re-reading this weekend, little short on time past 24 hours.

##vote Thane

Ok so he first unvoted without voting for one of his scum reads which he thinks is either team WiFum or team Yolo. Like Turin said this move is often performed by mafia's who will either try to get two townies lynched or save a teammate. It's even scummier than normal because he didn't bother to vote for any of them. He also appears to be getting scummy vibes from RTE and Lenlo but again doesn't do anything with it and doesn't explain how it would fit into his other two scum reads. And lastly he lists teams HaXorz, J-TAG and CRUNK as neutral but doesn't give his opinion about the other teams. Are they neutral too or town?

I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary about RTE's play so far. Turin appears to be lost in his tunnel and is starting to look worse. I don't like how he first pointed out how scummy Thane was and then went back to disect an older post from Despo as if he for a moment forgot that he should actually be going after him. His most recent post reads frantic to me and Despo's humor seems to be lost on him. I like Hallia's vote, but I'm not a fan of Leelou's just because she refuses to explain anything again. Jack first agreeing with Dap and now slightly pushing against Krak is weird.

Not keeping track of teams. That'll get you lost. Find what's scummy about an individual. For example

You are saying Turin looks worse but not taking into account ithi's play.

That's what I'm doing.

And just cause I agree on one point doesn't mean I agree on all. Just calling out what looks weird

Somebody give me the TLDR version of why Straw Hats is getting voted, plz.

Find it odd that Darthe made that long statement on RTE's psychological state which essentially names him scum, but is voting otherwise.

Still think her interaction with you looked town but this didn't.

You're not really making sense right now.

You went from Town to Mafia in an instant. Lily did that yesterday too. Neither sit well with me - but maybe you just being reactionary?

What do you honestly think about Jack and Lily? If you think they Town then they voting you for what they think are legit reasons, right?

What do you think about Thane and thingummy really? Why do you think they are going to get Lynched - but have a null read on them?

That was reactionary. I'm fine with saying my Day 1 reads can change, especially they little they are based on. Some are more solid than others but like any read interactions will change them. I don't know what to think about Jack really. I don't know how he usually plays, but it appears it might be with a chip on his shoulder. He still hasn't come in and done any explaining like Lily said he would. I really dislike overconfident players unless their play backs it up (basically almost only Ishy).

People need to be held accountable for votes without explanation, especially if they are town because that hurts us more. I think based on the interaction with you Lily looked town. Therefore to me that balances out to a town read. Not the strongest town read in the world but a town read. If they are town then they should not only share their reasons for voting but their read of the hydras as well.

Saying I thought strawhats would be lynched is your interpretation of what I wrote. Everyone in this game can be lynched. Therefore it is possible we will have a flip on anyone. I said the fact that I believe in their reads they only gave a town read to PFG is interesting and that if we knew their alignment their reads list (and this one specifically) would be informative. That's why reads are important. I don't need to explain that to you.

I'm going on an fMRI course this week so I wanted to contribute today when I had a bit more time to go through the thread than I will for this week. I will still be around and expect to be active and contributing nonetheless.

Leaning scum:

Cloud/Darthe - Scum

Tina/Leelou - Scum

Thane/Amega - Scum

Null:

Jack/Lily - Could lean one way or the other. Like Jacks play but not Lilies. This is a unique situation for me to have to combine two reads like this.

Hallia/X - Not much to go one besides some weak posts.

Cory/Monk - No idea.

AJ/TG - Made some scummy posts earlier. Made some towny posts later. Kinda cancels each other out for now.

Leaning Town:

BFG/Pral - Post more! But what has been posted makes me lean town.

Dap/Krak - Like the cut of your jib.

Turin/Ithi - think town on town violence with Despo/Verb and like your scumhunting. Im also very bad at telling when Ithi is scum though so *shrug*

RTE/Lenlo - Me! :D

Verb/Des - town on town violence.

##vote StrawHats ((Amega/Thane)) They have the highest train of people I think are scum.

Of his scum reads, I agree with Thane/Amega, but not the others.

As for the null reads, I'd put Hallia in the scum category and of course, Jack/me in the town category.

Of the town reads, Ithi/Turin I read as scum, as I also do RTL.

On 3/31/2014 at 12:36 AM, Andrej said:

The Ithurin/Lilack back and forth is a bit tiring. Leaning town for WiFuM, judgement reserved for the Evil Sibs. I always read Jack as scum in the two games I've played with him, and he was town in both. Don't wanna repeat that Call of Cthulhu game lol

I think Len redeemed his slot a bit with that catch-up post.

I don't find Amega/Thane overly scummy for any reason. Thane's post read more newbish to me, and I doubt he would be so freely joking around on thread if he had an internalized guilt. I actually liked Amega's post early on where he is pointing out Turin's instant scumread on Verbothera, which we can all expect as mandatory at this point.

Think Hallia's vote on Straw Hats was a bit scummy.

Clarthe is looking worse to me.

Not too sure about Krap (Spliffanity). I think Dap invests a little too much on reactions. Some players are more reactionary than others, it doesn't make them bad. I don't find it weird or suspect that Cloud asked for specific reasons since Leelou had put her vote on them multiple times.

Don't like how the #Yoloboys have dropped off the face of the game. Despo's entrance and early game buddying to Cory/Monk was pretty gross. Definitely not good vibes from their sort, I think they'll make the best lynch of all today.

Sort of suspect of the SS girls. Someone pointed out earlier (Jack maybe?) that their little dispute about who to vote allows them to play both sides of the fence. Leelou has reason for not being active but Tina's sniping post earlier gives me bad juju. I'd like to see more from her when/if she catches up and posts again.

Pral's game entrance gave me bad juju as well but I like how he is pushing the SS girls. He is usually an outlier when it comes to voting as town I have noticed, so I retract the early scum read. Would like to see more from BFG though, if she is town it will soon be apparent.

Couple of things if you want to misrep me

1. I gave out my view of Straw Hats yesterday. Here. Yes, I thought they were town and Thane made his mistakes because he was a newbie. I was wrong clearly.

2. Your post had nothing to do with my vote. Look at the timestamps, they were barely a minute after each other, in fact less than a minute. I was framing my post when you posted and I had no way of reading your post before I posted it.

WHY YOU NOE GIVE REASON FOR ABANDON PREVIOUS SCUM READS?

Hallia was firmly scum, Cory was firmly scum, RTL was first for scum, but now AJ is first?

That's almost a word for word rehashing of what Lily said. One says Des and co - the other says me and Turin.

Erm @ Pral. Mobile DM. If I knew the answer I wouldn't have asked it. Also you were about so why not answer again.

Ummm

Cory I said why I thought he was. And I'd be happy to lynch any of my suspects for reasons stated. But soon a reread of interactions with a known scum I found AJ to be the top suspect now that we have concrete evidence to roll on.

You still didn't answer the question. What's your opinion on AJ's reactions?
