Shepard and his team investigated the planet of Feros as the geth had decided to attack this world. The teams' objective was to go to the Zhu's Hope colony to investigate what Saren was after and why he had sent his geth troops over there. After clearing the first wave of geth, the team came across some impaling devices, huge spikes that Alliance marines had nicknamed "dragon's teeth". With these, the colonists that weren't killed in combat were turned into zombie like creatures, husks. Taking the opportunity to investigate one of those devices first hand for once, Ashley headed closer to one.

 

A soft sound drew her attention. Walking around the dragon's tooth, she noticed a dark spot close to the wall. Drawing her weapon, she went to investigate, but she didn't call Shepard. This proved to be a big mistake. The dark spot turned out to be a lone Geth Hopper, part of the attack on Feros by Saren and the last one of his squad that was still alive. Before she managed to scream or pull the trigger, the Hopper was on top of her, bending her over the dragon's tooth. With a quick flip of a switch, the tooth was activated, impaling  her before anyone realized what happened. Shepard came up to the horrid scene, shooting at the Hopper as it disappeared into the shadows. Saren would pay for this.

Jack, you're only FOS of me as that I went after you for your threadplay. Everyone should at least think for a second... would I be ANYWHERE on Jack's list if I hadn't gone after him?

 

If I had just lynched Straw Hats, whom I FOSed early but relented strongly after Amega's claim - and people going after Amega were Jack's #1 scum leads according to him - do you think Jack would have been paying any attention to me at all?

 

Going after suspects based on self-defense rather than pursuing your scumreads and overall tells IS 101 MAFIA BEHAVIOR - and generally I've only gotten Jack's direct attention when I attack him. I have never been in a back and forth this lengthy without the opposing player being scum in my 80+ forum games and I can't remember the last time it happened in a RL game (which admittedly are a great deal more frantic) and I've been playing for ~5 years.

 

I think the pace of life is a little...slower here.  DMers don't really like to be rushed into lynches.  And the DM translation of that is that any lynch that happens more than an hour from deadline.

Some people have made it extremely easy to clear them/incriminate them this game. I'm thinking Hydras setup favors town

It's the way he disagreed with the lynch. And yes, I find it scummy considering their flip. 

 

I'm not trying to be a pain in the @$$ with just sniping, but I really cannot go through the thread and pull tons of quotes like I want to. My internet is crawling and Tina is busy with family stuff.

If RTE ever gets in line tho they might be able to get themselves in the clear crowd eventually mebbe.

Neither.  We started off thinking you were scum for how you tunneled me and tried to spin my replies into AtE, but that read has changed over the course of your play and now we think you're town.  That can obviously change again, but for now we're cool.

 

 

 

Tina/Leelou - they look really town based on interaction with SH yesterday, and also the general tone I'm getting from Leelou.  I'm reading her as town right now.

 

My top 2 would be PFG (I mentioned this yesterday), and J-Tag, which is mostly due to me agreeing 100% with my Hydra partner.

 

I'm down to lynch either of these.  Agree with Cory on Lenlo - I like his sense of humor.  I never noticed this in past games played with him, but I like it.

Oh and if you need reasoning or w/e for the J-TAG vote:

 

1. AJ parked his vote on YOLO for A)me coming in spamming gifs (again, my team name is #YOLOHASHSWAG for anyone who wasn't clear on that before) and B) buddying my #Alliance buddy LAWLZ. Talk about hard hitting scum reads!

2. TG has posted WAY below his normal posting average, and has been much more utr and in the background than normal, when he is usually swaggering over the place almost as much as Verb or I

3. Both of them post awful reads list that have a lot of words without saying much

4. AJ was mebbe the only person in the game who thought SH could be town besides CoryCrunk. CoryCrunk cleared them by association however and has put in #work today to prove his towniness, whereas J-TAG has not

5.  AJ went from soft defending to hard defending to bizarro defending SH throughout the latter half of the day. His main argument? That people weren't paying enough attention to who was voting who and stuff. He multiple times tried fos'ing people because they were voting along with another scumread. On D1, when good townies know they could be wrong on reads so won't rely so much on associative tells. As in AJ is major sus for fake scumhunting there.

6. TG decided to wait till post #17 out of 22 to actually start commenting on the game. All spam and fluff up to that point.

7. Both tried getting Hallia lynched yesterday, someone spewed as town by their teammate.
