The game cube descended on Mainframe and the players entered.  The consequences of losing being deletion.  The Mainframers saw themselves surrounded by stands and a racetrack.

 

"Formula One," said a player.  "Good thing we know the Formula.  Reboot!"

 

All of the players rebooted, receiving cars for racing.  The bell rang and the Mainframers took off from the starting line.  Little did they know that one of the cars had a bomb placed in it by a virus wanting to delete the sprite.  The sprite heard the bomb ticking down and baled out of his car before the explosion took over.  He landed safely as the car exploded.

 

A small tear appeared where the car was.

 

"Not good! This is not good." said one of the sprites. "It's an infinite data else-if loop."

 

"What does that mean?" asked another sprite.

 

"It means RUN LIKE YOU'VE NEVER RUN BEFORE!!!"

 

The Mainframers all ran for cover as the game environment tore itself apart and the gamecube began to collapse in on itself.  The gamecube got smaller and smaller until it no longer existed.

Check the vote counts from Day 1. Hallia was the third person to vote for Despo right after Kay. This basically auto clears her as town because a town Hallia has the tendency to follow the player she suspects is the most townie and it wouldn’t make sense for her to do that so quickly and without unvoting later on if she was his teammate.

 

 

 

Not a fan of auto clearing anyone, especially partly based on meta.

Right now my guts say Cloud. He is better as town than scum, and there is a lot of holes in his cases. And proposing Amega as his scum-buddy, but might be Hallia or even Leelou. 

Why no mention of X. when right above you talk about him and cloud being top pics?

 

 

 

...I did. I mentioned him right above. As one of my top scum picks. But I also said said that I don't think both he and Cloud could be scum. 

 

Then I claimed that my gut said Cloud. Thereby excluding X from my current theory of who was scum.

 

Then I followed with who I thought could be the team-members of my, at that point top read, Cloud. 

 

Therefore, it would make no sense to list X again.

The web portal hung menacingly over Mainframe.  The Mainframers had a temporary truce with the virals.  Both were facing the same threat, but Bob know knew the virals would try to double cross them.  Unfortunately, they had no choice but to trust them.  Only the Virals had the power to close the portal  Bob had done his best to defend the system and had done well.  Megabyte was gone and the User was taken care of for now.

 

Bob went to check on the weapon that would close the portal and one of the virals approached him.  "It's just about ready"

 

"Good!" Bob replied.  "We're ready.  Close the portal."

 

"Not yet," said a Virus appoaching Bob and pressing a key.  A pod appeared and the Virus threw him into it, the door locking as soon as he was in it.

 

Bob banged on the door and shouted as the Virus pushed another key before releasing Bob into the Web.  As soon as Bob was through, the Virus closed the portal.

 

Cloud, Bob, the Guardian - Town Cop has been deleted.

Yeah, I had major internet issues for a bit and I had a huge post that got eaten with all my reads and I was super frustrated and never reposted it yet. I'll work on that today. But TG is my first scum lean and was for a bit now. I started voting him yesterday. He's followed by Hallia and then Peace.

Cloud claimed cop, then said he investigated X as scum. But he also said we should string up TG next, based on "just" his reads and opinion. If not, then he thinks Peace is mafia.

I meant that we shouldn't keep following his reads blindly. Of course they lean more heavily since Cloud is confirmed town, but it's still just his reads.

Im starting to lean towards a vote on Des. I know he goes for an aggressive approach but his reads have no strength behind them and he seems much to sporadic. between him and aj he is pinging the most.

Wombat - He hasn't pushed the no lynch angle for quite awhile.   A bit strange that he is picking this game to bring it back up.  Could be a meta hide. AJ pointed out his contradiction on anyone pushing against Kaylee or me.  I'd like to here an answer to that.

Amega -  A bit of a contradiction.  Really doesn't like how little I've posted but then says he plays completely by gut...which is another way to hide ones alignment.

 

AJ -  Very eager for a DOC...but unlike Wombat, I can see playing that way.  It's basically a get out of jail free card that allows you to go all willy nilly cause you can always claim doc and save your self.  And then protect yourself at night.  I've done it to try and throw the scum team off before.

 

Csarmi - this has become his meta of late.  not really participating.  A man of extremes.  Had some criticism of his style before so he's going to the opposite end of the spectrum.  Maybe he can find a balance somewhere.  Null read at this point.

 

Hallia - Back to take pot shots, sheeping other people, hedging her comments.  Her last post about voting Despooey for pressure is pretty bad. Slight scum read.

Sorry, I'm having a really hard time getting into this game today. I'm trying to read what went on today, but my internet keeps lagging and taking 10 minutes to load one page.

9. Leelou - Had an early scum read, went to town, now I'm kinda uncertain. Her recent "I dunno what to do guys" post has me worried it's a scummer trying to ditch responsibility for her vote.

I'm having trouble because my internet isn't working well and trying to read one page yesterday took 5-10 mins at a time. Kinda puts one in a sour mood when trying to play. It seems to be working right now, I still think Kaylee is scummy - why I haven't moved my vote and I have a few things I want to try to quote and respond to if my computer lets me.

 

 

Lee still thinks Kay is scummy, even after the fact that Kay was despo's opposing train d1 and how consistent Kay has been on her reads...but later Leelou says that I've been her top scum read for a while now, even though she is talking about Kay as her scum read now.

I don't think Peace would swap to Des late like that if they were partners. That basically ensured Des would be lynched. Up until that point I was heavily leaning on voting Kaylee simply because I thought both would turn up town and I would rather have a townDes over a townKay (nothing personal )

 

Not digging Verb's vote at the end of the day. Voting the same as confscum without reason and leaving it parked there through DL. Doesn't give me good vibes but we'll see.

 

AJ, wouldn't this work the other way around.Those last few votes ensured that Des was lynched. Before those last few votes, Des was basically gonna be today's lynch. So if those last few were scum, wouldn't they try to be the final part on Des's lynch and gain townie cred by doing so.

 

They could always point out that they were the last few who hammered him and got the scum lynched. This would allow them to gain some amount of townie cred that way. So I think we shouldn't write off anyone like that.

Loaded questions? I asked him why is he going after my reason for voting Kaylee. At that point in D1 those reasons lead me to believe that she was scum. I never said that I still find her scummy. Also, you keep on misconstruing what I say, take thing out of context to make them support your case and say that I did things when I haven't done them. You are putting in things to make what you said stronger. One such example is when you asked how do I define a real reason. Pray, do ell me what was the point of that? So, reading through it looks like both X and Despo were chainsaw defending each other.  But, both of them in their final "reads" before lynch called me scum for no good reason.  Just pointing out that I'm getting thrown sus by them when they are busy defending each other which is not consistent.

 

Tried to do a D1 reread before I start work.  Didn't quite make it to the end, but here's what stood out.

I personally don't agree with Des's facts that a person jovial tone can be an indicator of their alignment. In my opinion, any one's jovial or bored tone needn't be an indicator of their alignment. If according to this theory that all mafia would have a jovial or excited tone, then subsequently all town would have a bored tone and thereby be uninterested in playing. Other than this he mostly gives me a null read till now.

AJ, most of your defense against Des's vote seems ok, albeit one thing. The one thing that pinged the most is you threatening Des to have him killed. Now I can look at this 2 ways-you're a vig, ergo your claim that you can kill him if he pushes your lynch. Or you're scum-this fits with your theory that you can get him killed but also supports one thing that you said. Acc. to you, even if you were lynched, you could still get him killed. If he lynches you, your scummates plot in the QT and get him for the NK. This neatly fits with what you said.

This gives me a slight scum read on you AJ.

The rest, mostly nothing has happened. Everyone is mostly giving their reads, conclusions and opinions on AJ and Des's spate.

AJ and Kaylee are scum. The third one is likely laying low since AJ went all out and Kaylee is now having to distance from him. Honestly don't have any strong town reads yet, that needs to change quick. I've been on a roll lately with PoE, won't work if other townies aren't broadcasting their alignment. It would be nice to see others give thoughts on something OTHER than a possible "gambit" between AJ and I when that's not what is going on and is essentially the only thing I see people commenting on.

Usually from what I've seen scum will include town and a teammate when they name a group.  So I'm leaning that way with Kaylee/Vos.  

 

I don't think I missed one, so it seems strange for Amega to unvote AJ and then revote, but either way, going back to AJ.  Also, I think Amega tried to brush this off; but how would you know Peace is town?  AJ noticed it too. v

NO. and its a meta but he did the same in the last game. and i get a good idea thats just what he does. Even if peace was scum their only vague reads and lurking to case him on. 

 

kaylee i think seems pretty towny at the moment i think have the same feel for you as well leelou. I go with a gut read on alot of stuff i cant alway put into words like in the last game i had one about you. but your game play was rather good. This game i feel no vibes from it besides possibe town.

Why?  Hally and Lee have been pretty unaccountable all game with their voting.  They've both been lurky and just a bit off.  Amega has a strong voting record even if his interaction looks funny, Vos replaced Kay who is my top town read, and Peace has been playing a very "accountable" game by owning all his actions.
