I dunno if it's Nol's rage replacement or anything like that-I think he quit because all the gifs were slowing his phone down and he couldn't post anything from it.

And to everyone else, a thought-Nolder's viewpoints may be misguided, doesn't mean that he's completely wrong. Here it's just blowing out of proportion. I don't particularly share all his views, but in my opinion everyone should be given a chance-a benefit of doubt if you will.

Not really used to seeing Salami post questions like this- the indirect form of questioning. I've seen people like Tom and others do it a ton, I'm thinking it's possible Csarmi started using this maneuver to make himself look better in the eyes of CoryTom.

I'm waiting for more solid contribution from cory beyond the Nol stuff.  I'm wary of scum who hide in plain site by posting without really adding anything/scum hunting.  Cory, any reads to add to the game besides on Nol?

 

Edited out some nestled quotes but yeah this was the snipe post from TG I was talking about. He's gotten really quiet since Xthrax train built back up again, leaving him out of the limelight. TG is normally a fairly active scumhunter as town.

Regarding me- she doesn't point out anything new, or really anything scummy about me at all in particular, just that she doesn't see why others have a town read on me. Yet she still agrees with me about TG. Seen her post stuff like that as scum before as well.

 

As for conflicting reads- townies really shouldn't often have conflicted reads. If so, then they're not rationalizing their reads together and seeing how they fit in context. If there is a conflicting read, there should be some kind of reason for it being conflicted- for instance I have a scum read on you Tina, but Monk, someone else I find somewhat suspicious, also fos'ed you. I don't think he was bussing or distancing necessarily, I'm thinking my read on him is somewhat muddled due to his playstyle.

 

See what I mean tho? I recognize the conflict in two of my reads, but approach it with the big picture in mind to see how it fits. If you're not doing that, it's prob not a case of town having conflicted reads but more an example of scum pushing "reads" that don't make sense together.

I'm fine with lynching that slot in order to get the game progressing, he had 5 votes for a reason which I'll be able to look at later on my read through. It's not so much that I've given Des a free pass as much as it is that I've played with or watched him play a bunch of times and I don't think I can accurately read him on D1. If you wanna attempt it, have at it. IMO we just have more suspicious people FOR TODAY and he bounced for the weekend apparently.

Townies would have no problem restating their case on why they felt someone was suspicious. Tommy asked you why you thought I was scum and you just tell him he knows why. Why wouldn't you understand that people will often ask someone to restate their feelings to make sure they don't get tripped up in their reasoning? This is a common scumtell, and one I've seen Tina fall prey for before.

 

I have a feeling you didn't want to restate your case or reasoning on me cause it pretty much amounted to "He made a bad case on Csarmi".

People seem to be suspicous of me because I skipped over Nolder and later said I had a null read on him. I stand for what I said. If others disagree with me and choose to see that as scummy then it´s up to them. 

 

This post did give me some slight pause on my scum read of Tina however. She gets more defensive as town usually, as maf she blows off any attention she gets.

Tentative town read on Kronos from this post, for a few reasons. Generally consider vote-hopping to be townie, and calling Csarmi out by name seems like a townie move from Kronos- if he was scum and Salami was scum with him he wouldn't make a connection so open between them, and I don't think he would try linking himself to a townie as scum either.

 

I agree with this except the Salami thing because Kronos was asking for help. I think your meta scum-tell of Salami may be outdated, I haven't seen the helpful angle thing from him as scum as far as I remember. I'll stop interjecting with my meta reads of the WF players and let you do your own analysis in case you see something I don't.

 

Dunno how many games you've seen him as scum but I know at least one of those was very uncharacteristic for him. He buddied you a lot, hadn't really seen him buddy much as scum before. But I don't have him as a full scum read based on what I noticed, just somewhat less townie than before.

Because,  there are 2 reasons-Because I'd like to get your reasons proper and concise. Secondly it would help me to form an opinion about you as I read on.

 

Not fighting with Cory-fighting would mean a lot more posts than this. Just asked Cory his reasons for asking that question, also wanted to see his reaction and finally wondered aloud whether it was scum slip. Shouldn't Cory have given his reason, why are you getting all hyped about it?

 

So first order of business how? I entered the game with people having pre-concieved notions about mine/Nol's character alignment. Should I have given my reads and formed opinions about people to actively scum hunt without having read up the entire thread? Those wouldn't be complete opinions and won't be fair to anyone I'm having an opinion about.

 

Not hyper focusing on words, wondering as I've said before. Not acting, instead genuine doubt.

 

So basically, the case on Nolder was as follows, correct me if I'm wrong or left out anything-The votes on him till the end of page 11 were Tommy, Darthe and Peace. Some of the reasons were bad early votes-he voted Tommy as he had a lot of spam or high number of posts and then moved to Csarmi after he claimed Ackbar. He then also advocated a lynch all lurkers policy. Darthe says he's voting on him because he wants to spread pressure.

 

So far there is Des, GE, Tina and AJ who are voting for me.

I've unfortunately had to get accustomed to Darthe never contributing as much as he should. Like you said about that other guy on VS- Darthe traded his "A" game for like 8 "C" games. Dude is usually in 5-6 games at once and modding 1-2 more, obv too much to handle by paying close attention to all. Aggravates me like you wouldn't believe, but eh he has too much clout here to start policy lynching him into paying attention more.

Thanks. Like I said Tommy-it would really help 'cause I can get your reasoning proper and concise without all the intervening fluff and it would help me to form an opinion about you as well on my read. I will indeed make my own analysis of the entire game, but yeah it will take time. 

 

Plus, from what I make of Des's last big spoilered wall, AJ has just followed others without giving a reason. Complete sheeping. So if I could get reasons from everyone who has voted me, it could help make my opinions.

Alright anyways conclusions:

 

X looks like confirmed scum to me. Poor guy.

 

AJ had the first vote which smelled like a bus vote to me. Watching carefully, will see his thoughts after reading the thread.

 

TG sniping and coasting a lot, which is off his town meta. Def strong scum vibes there.

 

SP rose significantly up my scumdar for his push on me. Tina was pretty high up there as well, not quite as strong of a scum read as SP.

 

Still gonna keep my town list close to the chest. But the lynch pool isn't that big in my mind right now, thinking this game will be an easy win for town.
