Uh, no, I can't, that's the whole point. Youre better than this CS. You know that casing doesn't work like that- if you truly believe her to be scum, show why. Saying she's scum because you're town is preschool-tier.

Who said that was casing? I got an observation, made it and cast my vote based on it.

The rest of my thoughts having reread through Night and Day 2:

 

So when Cloud comes in still catching up, during Night 1, I can't get past the fact that Cloud seems very certain Tommy is town. He doesn't give much reason for it either. 

 

There are some things I agree on him with - I still don't like Despo's uber-buddying of Hallia (which Cloud had mentioned), and I don't quite buy his reason (that he found out recently she was a bit bothered by some critical comments he'd made on her play and felt like he should be nicer to her). You can be nicer without giving her two thumbs up to everything she says. If that really is the truth, then I def agree with Cloud that Despo was just being naive about her. 

 

But, I didn't like this from Cloud:

 

 

 

NEWSFLASH: TOM CLAIMING TO BE THE TRACKER WOULD SEAL HIS DEATH IF HE WAS ONE OF THE TWO WOLVES. He would have more luck not claiming anything and relying on his own play to get Golden lynched instead of him despite the fast approaching deadline. I know that this is WIFOM, but I don't see him trying to save himself with this move knowing that half of the players here thought he was scum even before Golden flipped town.

 

Look, I'll be the first one to say that just because something is WIFOM doesn't mean it should be totally disregarded as an argument. But there's just no way to know this, and as the hammer and deciding vote of the day, I did decide to vote for GE instead because Tommy had claimed tracker. It was pretty much the main thing that decided me. And apparently I was the one to convince, because it didn't seem like anyone else was online.

 

Also, later on in Day 2 during the whole claiming debacle, Cloud made a couple of posts saying that Vos is frozen (he's thinking Vos is Despo' scum partner). Vos very clearly said he was needed to read through the thread and get caught up - that can take a while. Took me hours to do a thorough reread last night, and I didn't stop in to check for new posts all that often, either. So it seems weird that Cloud so firmly thought Vos wasn't posting because he was 'frozen.' (What a weird term lol.)

 

Later on in Day 2, csarmi says this:

Er... why not? Maybe I'm being obtuse, but this makes no sense to me. It's just him building his case more against Tommy.

Didn't really read last few pages. Just looked for quick votes. I considered fake claiming Tracker both to keep the real Tracker from having to reveal (still dont buy Tommy's claim), but eh might as well play it straight.

I get that it was all part of his trap or whatever, but well, I didn't really like his trap, and I didn't like that he was so gung ho about it that he didn't bother to read what he'd missed. That said, I wouldn't necessarily say it's scummy to me. But I didn't like it. Especially because he went on to insist that Tommy answer his question about who Tommy had tracked, and if he'd just read the last few pages, he'd realize Tommy had already given this information.

So, to summarize my current thoughts (finally):

 

I want to start by saying that after reading the claiming stuff between Despo and Tommy more closely, I think I can believe both claims are true - for now. I'm not clearing either of them completely for the rest of the game. That said, to sum up where/why I found them scummy throughout the game - 

 

Tommy – one of the scummiest things is something Despo brought up, and I that I noticed too, not just with Hallia – his constant questioning and prodding for reads from other people, but he only responds ro even acknolwedges these answers and reads when they help support his own cases and theories. Cloud calls it lazy; I agree with Despo that it’s more than that, it’s scummy. In general though, Tommy looked a lot better to me on a reread - I feel I understand him better now, even though I don't agree with him a lot (both with his cases and how he's played).

 

Despo – I just feel like he’s reaching a lot in this game, which I mentioned before. He's made a lot of points that didn't quite add up, I feel. However, he's also just made a lot of points, so maybe some gaps in his logic are to be expected. I also didn't like his buddying of Hallia at all.

 

The main thing that has me doubting Despo as scum is that Mish/Vos seems the best candidate for his partner, and I have a pretty town read on Vos, and had a pretty town read on Mish throughout the game. Though I guess it’s more of a null read when I think of it – Mish just hadn’t struck me as acting particularly out of character. However, if it’s not Mish/Vos, I wouldn’t rule out csarmi or peace as possible scum with Despo.

 

Peace – Feel very town about him. The early scum argument against him was about his going for Hallia when there were trains on GE and Tommy. I think peace gave solid reasons for finding Hallia suspicious, and why he thought she would be a safer lynch, and I don't find it odd that he tried to widen everyone's focus on GE or Tommy. I kind of wish I'd done it, in hindsight. Tommy's current case on peace is pretty nonsensical. I'm absolutely not ruling peace out as scum - just because he's making a lot of sense doesn't automatically make him town. But I feel pretty good about him and don't think anyone else has made any valid points against him. 

 

Cloud – I don't agree with a lot of things Cloud says, but that doesn't make him scum. But it’s weird how Tommy keeps clearing Cloud and Cloud keeps buddying/agreeing so much with Tommy. It's weird how much he was on Tommy's side with Tommy's claim. I wish Tommy had given more solid reads on Cloud (and Csarmi) when I asked him; he was pretty vague. But his one-line about Cloud buddying him does kind of sum up my feelings about Cloud.

 

Csarmi - a lot of my feelings about csarmi are gut feelings - a lot of people are saying his coasting isn't normal from him. I don't think it is either, but even though I played with him quite a bit back in the day, I have to admit I don't remember much about his playstyle (sorry csarmi!). Looking back at my notes, I saw some very subtle buddying with Tommy much earlier in the game, when prompted for reads from Tommy. (Subtle enough that I will admit it might not be buddying, maybe he just happened to agree with him). Otherwise, he's been very fence-sitty, I feel like.

 

Mish/Vos - I never felt Mish seemed particularly scummy or OOC for her, and vos hasn't posted much but seems reasonable so far. I would say null read, maybe leaning town.

IMO the biggest argument for Cloud being scum is two things:

1. Him saying I'm playing awesome and supporting me pretty strongly when I'm wrong

 

2. Him saying that the scumteam is Despot and Mish

If he had really been making serious analysis of the thread it's almost impossible that Despot and Mish could be the scumteam 

I know I said something derpy like that myself but I think he followed me onto it despite it being nonsensical

So that's pretty damning for him

So GE votes her first. Despo then votes her for all her stuff against Hallia - reads like him making something out of nothing to me, but I think he would do that as town or scum. Cloud is also toeing the 'defend Hallia' line, and that seems to be mostly where his vote comes from.

 

Anyhow. From looking at the train, I agree a Mish/Cloud scum team seems unlikely. I don't like the idea of completely clearing Tommy and Despot, but let's say for now they are town. And you think Mish/Vos is scum, right? This is where I disagree with you. I don't think that at all. For argument's sake, if Vos is scum, I wouldn't rule out Despo or peace as possible scum partners. Despo does sometimes go after teammates early on to distance himself as scum; he did this in our last game. Peace wasn't around for any of that, unless I've missed a post from him.

Because Despot was pushing only me and Mish on D1 and he put Mish at L-1 for a large chunk of time

 

I don't see that kind of bussing happening when there's only 2 wolves in the game

Writing it, writing it, got stuck up in Matrix-game and RL have been mean to me. Fighting with drug-addicts, losing cats and stuff. 

 

I've come to where I stepped in, but in the meantime you all started being really active and playing games with the roles and stuff it's growing more and more complicated, heh. If there is anyone you want me to analyze I'll copy-paste what I got so far.

 

I think Cloud is scum. There is a big chance salami is too. When salami writes, he strikes me as town, but when I step back and look at the wider picture he seems suspicious. 

 

On the other hand, he seems too much devil-may-care, and I just lost a game for lynching a devil-may-care townie, so I'm a bit careful right there ;)
