None of that is remotely scummy though. Personally, I don't blame you for not being able to read it yourself, but you can't expect people to do it for you. You find the time, wait until you have the time, or post uninformed.

The deadline is like, today. Stop wasting time.

I never said it was scummy.

It's not about scummy it's about proper gameplay and covering all the bases.

It's like if a newbie claimed doctor and then later said they lied.

You don't let that person live no matter how sincere they may seem.

It has nothing to do with their gameplay at that point, it's just the safest course of action.

It's the same thing here. Obviously it's not about scummy play because there is no play to asses, scummy or not.

And that is exactly the point. If we can't tell if someone is scummy or not they need to go because we need to be able to read them.

As for finding time and not wasting time I don't really have in the first place.

Lol ok I'll get right on that.

So if that course of action (say they were just vt, and drew the nightkill)  saved the real doctor, it wouldn't be a good thing?

@Nolder

100% caught up now and don't like Cloud's play at all so far.

He seems less like someone who is posturing for information and more like someone actually trying to achieve a lynch.

Our Day just started, I don't think it would be wise to end it just yet. He is my top suspect for a scum at the moment.

I don't actually find him especially scummy right now, and I want to see what he says. And I am aware there are other paths my line of reasoning could take, but it seems best to go down the worst possible case first.

This is the most reasonable approach to Day 1.

Why?

Pressuring people, even if you don't actually find them scummy, to see what they say is pretty much essential for a successful Day 1.

Given that Cloud was your top read why didn't you vote him? Later on you we're finding Peace questionable, why was Hallia your first vote?

There wasn't much of a 'coming back' considering it started at Christmas? Everyone was busy o.O And I was working on Christmas, as I said   So now I'm here.

And what was so hard about saying this before and pointing me in the direction of your most relevant posts?

That wouldn't happen because in the hypothetical situation they revealed they were lying.

At the time I wasn't ready to lynch Cloud. The day was still early and I didn't want to waste it.

If I voted him I'd have pretty much been a hypocrite don't you think?

Peace and I were just butting heads over stuff I don't think either one of us actually called the other scummy did we?

Hallia was my first vote because she wasn't active at the time and I either wanted her threatened with lynching so she'd start playing or actually lynched.

There's a lot of votes on Nolder. If he flips town we should go after Hallie.

I don't like this post. Why would Hallia be scum if Nolder flips town? It sounds like you are trying to set up lynches.

Other mentors have gone as far as actually speaking in the game, past the checkin phase, so I figured it was ok.  They're there to help right?

You are right, but other mentors haven't made any game related posts. You and Yates sound more like a Hydra right now and it's more difficult to read you if you keep quoting him. I agree with your assessment of Golden's post by the way.

Hallia's train is a bad idea because I'm starting to get town vibes from her during these last few pages. I could go for either Nolder or Golden right now, and I'm leaning more towards Nolder being mafia.

I really have to go now. I will be back in 5 hours or something.

Consider what you just said in the first part of this post and then the second.

Do you think it's possible it's Yates' gameplay that is giving you townie vibes and not Hallia?

That's very likely. I usually have a difficult time reading Hallia and this game wasn't any different so I had her as my only null read. I'm still unsure about both you and Golden. The thing that stood out to me the most regarding your play was that you only only had a town read on Krak, and when further questioned you claimed to have forgotten what gave you that initial impression. I know that you hate inactives, but your vote on Hallia just seemed lazy, especially because you weren't that active yourself either. The thing that stood out to me from Golden was his aggressive response to Via's vote on him. It sounded too extravagant. I haven't played enough with him to know if he always acts like that or not, but it certainly makes him a difficult player to read.

I would personally prefer a lynch on Krak, but it doesn't sound like that will happen today.

You can tell that to my corpse at this rate. >_>

Also with Tommy hopping off there's really no point in voting you anymore I guess.

Now the question is, self preservation or symbolic vote?

Well, I have the time right now. Let me see if I can look up what Krak did that gave me a town vibe for you.

What're your reasons for wanting Krak lynched Cloud?

It's about him coming in the game, posting a lot of fluff and then voting me straight out of the gate without giving much of a reason but ends up calling me obvious mafia or something similair. Later on he provides a couple of arguments for why he thinks I'm mafia, but he doesn't come back at me when I retort those and instead stops commenting on anything that was happening in the game except calling me out for buddying. During this time he keps his vote on me, and when I did a quick case on Hoof and voted for him he switched his vote from me onto Hoof. This stood out to me because he hadn't posted anything inbetween this that might have explained why he changed his mind. When I asked him what his reasoning was he replied that it was for reactions. I then asked him what the result of his observation was but he has yet to reply to my post. It sounded like an easy excuse though.

You make a good point, and since we've been talking, I'm feeling a lot better about Nol.  I'm down for giving it a shot.

That's also one thing I'm really putting effort into.  I get all these ideas while reading, but I get too timid to post them.  So I may be wrong, but from now on at least you'll know how I feel about something
