Since most people probably won't read the rules again, this is what they now say about characterclaims (also, no more ghosts :( ):

 

 

I've given a town character to claim for everyone. Half these claims are lies, half aren't. You must stick to it. Even no hinting at the 'real' character.

Why do you feel the need to have every little game detail confirmed so thoroughly? I've already explained WAY more than I intended to. It doesn't take much deduction to figure that answer out, I'm not gonna breastfeed it to you.

You can also just reply with a PAFO you know. We will try to get as much info as possible from you until you draw the line, and the answers to these questions are usually written in the rules.

That's too bad. The ghost mechanic sounded really fun.

On the ghosts: they would have co-decided whether or not you got to use PJ in your claim, as well as who you would be polyjuiced into (1/4 by former Malfoy, 3/4 by former Weasley. With some remaining random, of course - phasing out over the consecutive nights).

 

I still believe this would have been better (both for the death thread and the randomness - now just the pre-calculated fractions remain), but too many people had problems understanding it.

 

I'd like to see a similar concept used later. Keeps the dead "alive" while not having that big an impact.

Yes? If it hasn't been checked I'd rather know. I'm asking because I can't see that this is originally a basic set-up, with the lovers and ghost and polyjuice, so I'd like to know if Verb or someone else has checked it, to get more of a feeling of what I can expect of this game.

This game hasn't been checked because it doesn't have to be checked. It's VERY basic.

 

The reasoning behind the fake claims has been explained plentifold. I've played enough games to know how to make an equilibrium out of those.

On the lovers: PAFO. I'm not gonna say how those are balanced out. Obviously.

Teaser 2: Lucius Malfoy

 

Lucius heard the bell toll three times. Another document for Mr. Weasley :(  Losing Lord Voldemort still made him crawl, but the consequences that had for him and his family! They now had to sleep in the Ministry, and had to actually WORK !!! He hated it.

 

Luckily Draco and Narcissa were still down, so they wouldn't see what he had ready to bring up. Would that phone call to Weasleys family have gone through? Let's hope.

For I also prob would have been a bit confused about the ghosts thing (the character claiming and other stuff was fine, I needed no further explanation), but as Cloud said, you could have always given us a PAFO. Ain't nothing wrong with getting one of those to a setup question.
