I have a little personal project to make bookmarks because I love bookmarks. I was thinking about making with quotes and a little picture. So I need help with quotes. Something related to reading or books or quote by a character or a quote by an author or from a movie...anything you can associate with books.

And I need help with ideas for a craft project in school. I have to make something with clay made from bread. Any idea?

Points to all those who suggest

dragons for both

there be dragons

for book quotes google just that

quotes about books

teddy bears are easily made from bread dough, is that what you mean by clay made from bread?

Its mixing bread and glue to make clay then making something out of it. And it has to involve flowers because teacher wants me to make flowers

perhaps shape it like an empty plate... you could decorate it by painting or etching or pressing flower deigns on it.

then you would have the satisfaction of the message and your teacher would have flowers. and not get it.

Yup. Just tell me via PM or location

I love that quote from aSoIaF too. I would have picked that even if you didn't suggest.

I didn't think of siggy quote. Its one of my favourites. And that quote from ToM which goes something along the lines like "Respect is earned not given"

empty plate has a point but I don't know if the teacher will get it

"You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend."

'If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all."

First one is by Paul Sweeney.

The second one is by Oscar Wilde

“Secrets have power. And that power diminishes when they are shared, so they are best kept and kept well. Sharing secrets, real secrets, important ones, with even one other person, will change them. Writing them down is worse, because who can tell how many eyes might see them inscribed on paper, no matter how careful you might be with it. So it's really best to keep your secrets when you have them, for their own good, as well as yours.”
