I think I was a pretty good shot last night. I claimed vanilla town and I don't think we got a consensus on me being town, actually, I seen a lot of players FOS'ing at me.

 

So why not shoot me out of the way?

So first, we can clarify that I don't watch Westerns much (does anyone?).  But you will see me building an unnatural "tough guy" persona in these posts.  Kinda felt like I had that Western feel.

Also odd that Dap's Day vig shot claim has gone mostly uncommented upon. Do we think it a good idea to let him take a shot at someone that has drawn attention so that we get a coroner report and can use that to look for mafiosos?

 

Berf's use of Hallia's meta didn't strike me as too od bur then when Hallia came in and defended Berf additionally claiming she has no meta (was that a joke BTW?) pinged very loudly.

 

Sorry Basel but I did LOL when you asked about PFOP since it was right after the full length version. That is something I might do also. Miss the thing directly in front of me.

Care to explain?  I am usually pretty good at calling Des on his BS but haven't seen much on it here.  It won't matter, the guy can't make it to D3 anyhow.  I don't disagree with the Hally statement.

Three quick points cause I gotta go and don't wanna forget.

1) Cindy is being careful to the point of paranoia which can be seen in posts such as the one above and her gigantic reaction to this Han Solo-esque business.

2) Salami reacts in an almost alien manner as if he doesn't know what words like consequences mean etc

3) Somehow that Basel train snuck up on us. I don't have a clue why Basel is being picked on so much, the guy is just playing casually.

Oops one more.

4) RTE case looks too easy. His team would have shut him up by now if he was on one I think. That said reading him here makes me want to slam my head into a wall. Going to put him down as one who I wouls be interested in seeing their flip more than anything else.

This one I gave a fair bit more in and actually did in a content post.  The Han Solo reference, that attitude that I had been building for early game, worried me.  I felt like it was too much.  Thus I tossed in a couple of SciFi references to hopefully mellow it out.  Even put in the Trek reference lol.

 

Notably, I never said a word about Dap's gun.  Not at all in relationship to his reveal.  Don't you think that's a bit odd of me?

 

This is just some of my early stuff.  Subtle enough that I had hopes it wouldn't be picked up by mafia, but that doesn't really matter when you get caught by town ).)

You aren't supposed to catch them.  That's the point of breadcrumbing, so that you can reference it later to help validate that you didn't make up a fake claim on the spot.  If anybody could get them the instant they saw them, or even if they didn't know what it was but thought it looked like a hint, it would make me a target.

If you read back you can see.  Mentioned it near the beginning of the game actually.  Wombat is someone I find nearly impossible to read.  He is a dangerous player.  Glad you're catching stuff, this is what I remembered when I saw.  Not unlikely that some that you're reading is just bias because you look for it though.  It happens when someone is trying to get into a character.

 

As for the blast them thing, what would be the point if I was mafia?  Unknown effects that are mod confirmed negative to me doesn't sound like a fun day.

@MOD, what is the deal with a Darthe's no result? Shouldn't he get at notified of a No result. Janitoring should not prevent his action from working IMO...

 

Dap, I find it amazing in the extreme that you would shoot N1 and not N2 if you had more than one shot. But I also find it more unbelievable that you would have used your one shot on N1 in the manner you did. I am thinking that you are mafia (possibly GF) that was looking to get viewed early so you could claimed "confirmed townie".

Getting nothing from a Janitor is really abnormal, but her response (or lack thereof) apparently amounts to the same thing.

I think I'd made enough of a point about the possibility of that being a trigger that might inject cult into the game by then... you seem to not acknowledge that you understood that.

 

that may be paranoia, sure, but I've seen lots of cult games, and the theme is perfect for it.

@Cindy, I've acknowledged every time you mentioned that. It doesn't make sense because this was a mod mechanic. She confirmed it to be so.

 

We also have Niels flip.

 

And I didn't blow the trigger. Didnt anticipate that it would trigger the trap on me at least, I simply distinguished mine. What you're suggesting would be to play against my alignment on the off chance of getting personally ahead and at thw risk of alienating myself. That would be doubly risky if I had a mafia team.

Fair enough. I just know that I did not intentionally hint a ton. Might have subconsciously (roles do affect a persons game) but if you are seeing a ton from me or anything that's really big I likely didn't mean to put it there tbh.
