Pral has been defeated it seems. Kind of surprised he latched so strongly onto Lenlo for his reasons. Could go either way on his VT claim. I think it's bad form to give someone the benefit of the doubt just because of the phase and his claim that everything must be absolute. I would probably have done the same in his shoes if I were scum.

 

Well, not exactly defeated but at a point where whatever I say could go against me (and the timezone too, yeah, just woke up). I am still in the opinion that Lenlo and Cloud are scum in this game. Lenlo has disappeared and Cloud's explanations have not convinced me. I have a feeling that most of those active right now are town and the scum have settled in the background watching the show unfold.

My point was that you claimed to believe any role claim on Day 1 in a basic game, and that's why I find it scummy for you to suggest running up Not Bob because if I follow your logic you would just end up believing him too. It isn't true that mafia only claim PR's after being run up in normal games. It all depends on the cases available against the person and if he can get away with a VT claim or not. I would say that it is possible for Pral to do this because there has also been enough pressure on Not Bob, and most people are actively scumhunting. Nice try with avoiding having to defend yourself by just dismissing me though, but I can promise you it won't help.

Pral was in a situation that i think would of warrented a pr claim if he were mafia. He was run up quickly and looked like he would be lynched (i considered hammering more than once and i bet others did too)

 

I think youve missed the point though. The pr cla isnt to save yourself as mafia, its to force the real pr out and trade 1 for 1

@Dap: I know that fake claiming a PR in a basic game is meant to force the real PR out in the open. I linked Peace and Pral together because of Peace's previous post which made me vote for him. He was the first one to unvote from Pral and try to push the attention towards Not Bob instead. I think that he is scum because he believes Pral's VT claim not because of his train, but because scum wouldn't do something like that (which isn't true) and he then voted for Not Bob and wants him to claim, but if you follow his logic then he would have also believed him so why would he even do that? I think that we should look more at gameplay when people claim VT, instead of just believing them right away because of their role, something that Peace just did and I don't think it fits with him. I didn't know that Pral had a RL reason to not be around. I'm only playing in this game right now and I don't think he has posted it in here :/ If he did then it's my mistake.

They are different situations

Pral was first train, first claim. He looked like a likely lynch but then it all disappated

Not bob came off the back of that, he knew that a VT claim saved Pral, he knew his train was the second train, and he knew it was a pressure train in a lot of ways.

He had more to gain by claiming VT than a Pr

Pral had more to gain by claiming a PR than a VT role

 

Make sense?

I know that Not Bob could have an easier time getting away with a VT claim right after we saw others unvoting Pral for his, but in a game where there are likely 3 mafia's I don't think it's profitable to sacrifice a teammate on Day 1 just to force a PR out in the open (which might not even happen if the PR is laying low). For example if Pral were to claim Cop, then the real Cop could just lay low andhunt for the other mafia's and then reveal on a different Day. It wouldn't even matter if he died first because we would know that Pral and probably another teammate were mafia.

Peace said and I quote: "I'm believing the claim.  Scum being run up day one would claim a power role."

 

This means that he believes Pral just because he claimed VT. He says that mafia would claim a PR, but I doubt that he would have left his vote on him if Pral actually claimed a PR and more importantly I don't think it's a worthwhile trade off to sacrifice a teammate so early in a twelve man game in the hope that you will find a PR. And so he would have believed any kind of role claim without looking at the gameplay to help decide who to vote for.

 

NotBob seems to be the one getting lynched though.
